Chapter 1 - Prologue

Humans are truly pathetic creatures.

What meaning is there in a life which is so temporary?.

They gives their whole existence, from birth to breathless, building a home of sand, which will get fade away with the wind. What is the point of building it, if it all crumble with you.

They love someone for their entire life, only to see the other perish. They want to chase it to eternity. But they didn't know that the eternity don't value their love. They prays, only to be denied.

They give birth to their children, who will one day curse their names. The same hands that once fed them will grow old and they will become useless, and finally will be abandoned. This is your love? Your so called family? A loyalty that dies with time?

The Gods won't consider helping them. All the prayers are just the howls into a deaf sky, but they still die worshiping him.

As I sat upon my mighty throne of the charred stone, the golden blood, of the gods I killed, flows from it, my gaze wandered over the battlefield in the human realm. Bodies burned into the stone, like they are leaving an imprint for the cruel world to remember that they existed, Their armors had melted into their skin. Their king was a smear of ash beneath the others foot. The stench of scorched flesh still lingered – sweet and sickening, the metallic smell of their worthless blood. Their cries had long since faded. Now only silence remained. My favorite kind of silence.

I hate them, they pretend their love means something, knowing death waits at the end of their book. They cries as if they can reverse the lines written in one's chapter. They smile as if it will lasts forever.

They write their names in stone, but the earth forgets it all, what do they think they are. Even the gods decay, what chance does a human heart have?.

Then suddenly, A voice responded, "Then see for yourself."

As I heard the voice, I felt something, which I have never heard of, pain. It was like my body... it was like…. I couldn't understand what I felt. But I cannot move a single muscle in my body, as if they are no longer in my command, after I heard the voice.

I spread my wings, even as my body betrayed me, but my wings started to turn into ashes, my vision started to dim.

"I can feel my body, floating, it was like someone wanted to show me something."

I, Demon king, Asmodeus the I, have reigned in the depths of the netherworld for an eternity. I have killed several gods and demigods, without any mercy, erased their Avalon, and stood atop a mountain of bones.

"Yet none of them taught me the kind of silence she left with me."
