It is said by the believers of the trinity that God would punish those who had sinned against him, could this have been possible if not for the first man? Now humanity is faced with threats that are either beyond the world they reside in, or it could be so that humanity are threats to themselves.
Just as humanity had lived in harmony with the ones they ruled over, now they are forced to end the lives and eat of the very flesh they control, train and create rules for. But what if there were creatures that existed outside of humanity's rule? Could they have been a mistake of the one above, watching everything that moved and speak? That could never be the case in this point, everything that is done by the almighty creator is for the sake of evolution, for the world to grow rather which was why these calamities were to be eradicated by the falling star.
Now the goal of the beings who walked on two limbs were the main point of attraction—to kill what needed to be killed or they themsleves could be killed by it if they did not do so.
The battlefield was often covered in the blood of the prehistoric nightmares that hunted the early world and one homo-sapien as the creator called it rose up from the guts of the creature he or she had taken life from. The life-form that was now in the place of the predator, would stand tall, her resolve never breaking as she was ready for the next battle.
In times like this, she oftenly bathed in the blood of the nightmarish enemies. She possesed no name, but she was usually known as the star as she was born with a birth mark that rested on her lap, close to the area which she could bore children. This birthmark was very much like the stars as she was told that it glowed brightly as she took her first breath.
Standing there, under the sunlight, her skin as dark as mud enhanced by the afternoon light, the Star could only wonder if there were other things that this dangerous world could offer her, could they have been bigger creatures other than the prehistoric beasts that she had slain her entire life? Since the fifteenth year after her birth under the dying star, she always had the same thoughts.
After the biblical bathe, she trudged across the hard earth, her barefeet almost left scorched by the sun's breath, her body ached but she was pleasured by this pain. On her first day of hunting the great prehistoric beasts, she oftenly cried, wondering why the tribe had put her up to such a painful task, she could recall cursing and spitting, her anger getting the best of her. Now she stood, a triumphant smile spreading across her face as she walked to the river that was said to not only wash away the blood of enemies but dirt that tainted the past.
The Star plunged herself in this sacred river, her movements careful and deliberate as a single splash could waste this liquid, with each part of her body making contact with the water, it had altered to a crimson color, the redness thick that it was hard to see what was underneath. The Star moaned as she was cleaned, the coldness pleasuring her as it ha been long since she ever enjoyed something so great, this had left her vulnerable, her eyes closing as she had never slept well in a while.
This act was unacceptable, the sacred river was meant for bathing not for anybody's slumber and if anybody broke this sacred rule they were bound to be punished by the river—though she never knew of this sacred rule since the tribe who once knew of this, the very tribe she born into had been eradicated by the greatest beast of them all. As she rested, it was as though reality had shifted in a blink of an eye.
The Star gasped as her eyes were open, a strange feeling in the change of the water causing her distress, and just as one of the punishments had said: Banishment to the otherside of the world. Unlike the place she resided, which was clear and bright, this place was filled with dark trees and wet vines that hung anything, the smell of blood lingered in the atmosphere.
The water she bathed in was now a murky green, this was a swamp if she was specific, "The stories are true," she said, her tone as light as feather. Though she was distressed, she did not panic, if cold could not freeze her when she stood in cold mountains and hunted wolves and bears, this place was the same or wasn't even close to what she faced.
Taking the ancestral beads which were the only thing that she wore around her waist and the great axe which she wielded, still tainted with the blood of the beast that she had slain, she had set off to a great and dangerous journey with no idea on what lied ahead. With no knowledge of what she would face, she was vulnerable to every beast that lurked in this murky world.
In that moment of rest from the dangers, the Star sat on the dirt, lighting flames on the dry wood she could find. She could feel warmth as the flames burned, but this warmth wouldn't last for as long as she breathed, with a single snap of a branch and a growl, followed by the sound of a great roar tha tore through the atmosphere. The Star was shaken by this—she had never heard this before.
The flames were put off immediately just by the breath of this predator, the Star was alert, rising on her feet as she faced this thing. Holding her weapon tightly, her eyes gazed through the dark areas, looking for what this thing could be, she walked back slowly just so she could get a better view then she stopped, her back rubbing against something hard and cold and it seemed to move.
It was huge and just from the way it felt, the Star knew that this was the cause of whatever made that horrible growl. Slowly turning back to face this thing, it was indeed large, its head as large as human male, arms smaller but the feet were large enough to crush bones, its tail was big enough to wipe out trees and villages. The memories began to return as she gazed up at this monstrousity, many years ago when her village was eradicated—she had seen this monster, now it had returned to end the last survivor.
The Star stood still, her body shaking as the violent creature roared, its breath tearing through the atmosphere causing evrything it's path to shatter, branches, leaves and small trees were ripped from the earth. In that moment, she knew that she was up against a threat that could not be beaten at all, unlike the ones she faced and slain with much difficulty, though it was hard but not impossible—this one looked like it could be potentially impossible.
So she did as any survivor must do—run as fast as her legs could carry her. The rule that her ancestors had attained was to never run from any threat, evry warrior of the tribe must face what was given to them and if death was to come, they must face it, but the Star never knew of this rule, the ancestors never blessed the tribe with special abilities, the rituals they conducted never gave them the protection they so craved for either.
Now their only descendant was caught running from that rule and running from the threat she was bound to face, the trees being forced out of the earth. Though she was the female who could potentially outrun beasts of every kind, her body enhanced by great training, this monster was faster and it could end her with one fatal swipe, all it took was it's tail which it used to destroy the obstacles before it.
——
The running had began to take an in inevitable toll on the woman's body, her barefeet bleeding as each step she had taken sent a horrible pain that coursed through her body, her nerves screamed and they must've begged her to stop if they could speak. The monster had began to reach, its jaw wide open as it prepared to bite into her flesh and the Star had run out of time, her body giving up every fibre of hope on her when it came to controlling it.
"Ancestors, please help me," she would pray as though her mother will tell, but these ancestors were fake. The Star never believed in these things, they were no gods, no beings with great power—only pain and suffering were the beings that existed, and their power could twist men and change reality for them.
But she was no man, she was no god, she never even had a taste of what spiritual power could. The shamans and the fortune tellers that existed in her tribe could posseses no such power, the fact that they believed that the elements were given to them by their ancestors was just something that made her laugh. It was all fake, the death of her tribe never mattered, and if she had died, she would cease to exist, the ancestral plain was a fake and no world as such as that existed.
With her final breath closing in, the Star knew that she wouldn't shine bright as the shamans said and she would be trapped in darkness with no where to escape and call for help. As she stopped just at the end of a cliff, the bottom as endless as the abyss she was about to end up, she could at least die a warrior who faced an entity like no other.
The monster stopped, walking closer till its jaws were inches close to her head. It sniffed her, her perfect skin and succulent body drawing it closer, it was sure there was enough blood in her body and milk in her large, pointy breast for it to quench it's thirst. Every muscle it had bitten on would not be compared to this woman's and as it raised it's jaw, saliva dripping from teeth, it was ready eat.
