Synopsis
Crayon wasn't meant to be ordinary. Not with a world like this waiting beneath his feet. The Artbound has awoken - a place where imagination shapes reality, and emotion breathes life into entire worlds. To step into someone's heart is to see who they really are... and to risk everything in the process.

✦ Format & Reading Guide ✦

Artbound uses a unique hybrid format to bring you closer to the characters' hearts and minds. It blends traditional novel-style prose with script-style dialogue to keep things intimate, immersive, and emotionally direct.

✧ Formatting Style:

Dialogue and actions appear in a script-inspired format for clarity and flow.

Example: Crayon: I don't want to talk about it. (turns away)

Thoughts are written in brackets:

Example: Crayon: [Why do they keep looking at me like that?]

Emphasized words are italic

Story Narrations use "Quotation Marks" (if quotation marks appear within a characters speech its not narration is sarcasm)

Important narrative details appear in bold (names, places, etc.)

I am subject to add more, and I will be sure to notify within the chapter in such cases

This approach is meant to be both stylistically engaging and accessible — especially for visual readers or those who connect more deeply through dialogue-driven stories.

✦ About Artbound ✦

Artbound is a story I first dreamed up over ten years ago — and now, I'm finally reimagining it, breathing life into it the way it always deserved.

This project is deeply personal. As an artist, it's rooted in my love for creativity, self-expression, and storytelling. But more than that, it's inspired by things I've seen and felt.

Over time, I've come to understand more about the realities of orphaned and foster children — the emotional weight they carry, and how important it is to treat them with compassion and dignity. Those lessons left a permanent mark on me, and that truth runs deep in the heart of this story.

Crayon, the main character, reflects people I've known and loved. His past, his quiet strength, and his pain are shaped by real struggles — both mine and those of others I care about. He represents the side of healing that doesn't always speak loudly, but still reaches for the light.

At its core, Artbound is a story about healing, growing, and finding color again when life feels gray. It's about art — but more than that, it's about the people behind it, the broken pieces they carry, and the ways they try to piece themselves back together.
