A little while later, Sejal, Dean, and Herry entered the house together.
They all sat down in the living room, casually talking about some work-related matters. The atmosphere was surprisingly calm and normal—until suddenly, Dean broke the silence and said—
> "I've already told your brother Herry everything about us."
Sejal froze.
Her eyes slowly shifted to Herry, trying to read the expression on his face.
Herry looked at her directly, calm and composed, and asked—
> "Sejal, do you love Dean?"
Sejal, a little shy and hesitant, lowered her head and answered softly—
> "Yes, Dada... I love Dean more than I love myself."
Dean's eyes lit up hearing those words.
A flood of emotion passed across his face, and a gentle smile tugged at his lips. It was as if those few words filled him with a sense of hope he hadn't felt in a long time.
Then Herry asked again, his voice firm but not angry—
> "Then why did you get engaged to Ken?"
Sejal let out a sigh. Her voice was low, almost like a whisper—
> "Because... I had no other choice.
Mom, Dad, and Denny—they all pressured me so much to get engaged to Ken.
At that time, you weren't around, and I had lost all contact with Dean.
My parents and Ken's family cornered me until I finally gave in..."
She paused for a second and then slowly looked at Dean.
With a small, fragile smile, she added—
> "Before I came here, I intentionally sent you my location in that last message... hoping you'd come."
Dean didn't say a word.
He just kept looking at her—like she was his entire world.
And in his silent, deep gaze, there was no doubt...
That dream, the one he once let go of, was slowly coming back to life—
A dream that had only Sejal in it. Only her.
