"Juudaimeeeeeee!"
Tsuna stopped halfway through the bite and quickly looked at the newcomer, afraid of losing his food and not of waving to the ground or getting hurt thanks to the happiness of his friends... as strange as that sounded. However, even Emma broke out in a cold sweat at the sight of Tsuna with a gentle but clear killing intent: "Come closer and death will be the last of your worries."
"Ma Ma, I think we'd better leave Tsuna alone for..." Yamamoto glanced sideways at the kitchen clock. Maybe they had come at a bad time... although it was only 2 in the afternoon... "one or two hours..."
"Don't tell me what to do, idiot!"
And so, the usual argument/fight began again... Sadly for them, Tsuna was not in the best mood, and they realized why he said to them too calmly, as if it were nothing important:
"If they explode something..." Tsuna didn't even look up from his plate, which only made the situation much more terrifying due to the "calmness" of the matter... "or they interrupt me..." The sentence was left in the air, free to be completed in any way they wanted...
One person could only laugh in his head as he watched the action unfold from the comfortable chair in which he was sitting. I even had the marshmallows on hand, and the wine, to enjoy the occasion. He didn't need the soda or popcorn, not at all, the best thing was marshmallows after all, or at least that's how it was for him. He had come when Emma-kun called him to let him know that Tsuna had finally stopped wintering, although he had arrived about 30 minutes ago...
"Tuna-chan, calm down, calm down..." Tsuna just looked at him out of the corner of his eye, without annoyance, but in a way saying: "I hope you're not going to do something crazy too at this moment..." "If you behave well—"
"Bya-kun, I'm not Lambo." Great, even now Bya-kun treats me like a child in situations where I shouldn't... It's not that it bothers me, but right now I'm not in the mood and it's not the best time in itself...
"I'll take care of them if they make a mess..." Gokudera and Yamamoto looked at each other, this was not for them—
"If you want, but you also fit into the package..." Actually, if someone made a mess, they weren't going to have a good time.
"I think you made that very clear a while ago." And who could blame him? After five days wintering, the poor thing must have been hungry, and therefore it was not surprising that he was acting like a lion... "Relax, nothing will happen." No one would try, everything he did five days ago was the example that no one wanted to see or feel if they had a choice. "Chocolate?"
"Chocolate?" I wouldn't mind eating some sweets... Although everything would be more enjoyable if Bya-kun wasn't treating me like I'm Lambo right now, it's not like I can complain... a lot.
Emma could only smile nervously, amused. The reason, Bya-kun was taming the lion as if it was nothing more than a simple cute kitten that was just somewhat irritated and hungry. Not that Tsuna was a lion, he was far more dangerous than that and had an appearance that could fool anyone into thinking he was anything but dangerous. It didn't help that this Tsuna was from the future and had much more knowledge than them, let alone experience and skills. Yes, a real lion would be anything to them at this point, it wouldn't even be considered a threat...
"Buy multiple bars." With a smile, Byakuran showed him about five medium chocolate bars with a purple wrapper.
"For me alone, right?" A friendly smile, rainbows and flowers... and maybe even a unicorn in the background.
"...Yes..." Sir, what beast had you unintentionally unleashed?
"Well, everything is in your hands... except for chocolate." The smile remained, with a happier Tsuna, but the flowers, rainbows and other additives disappeared...
Again, Byakuran wondered what he had done, he hadn't expected this reaction... In fact, I didn't know that Tsuna would love chocolate so much in this day and age, let alone in the future... Emma was just like Byakuran: she didn't know that Tsuna liked chocolate so much, but now that she knew she already had a weapon to negotiate with him if things weren't going very well or very nice (dangerous). Apart from the great fright that Tsuna gave them by sending several parts of the city to hell the last time they saw him awake, none of them knew for sure what to expect from this Tsuna. What they were sure of was that a depressed Tsuna was much worse than a happy Tsuna, even if the latter had fun at their expense. As for the other two...
"Ma Ma..." A nervous smile, and sitting a little far away from Tsuna. "Are you hungry..."
"Obviously..." And if they tried to steal something from him they would lose their fingers. I spent five days wintering, didn't I?
"Yes, it's true..." But that didn't take away his nervousness with the subtle, but not so subtle, threat that Tsuna gave them without them actually doing anything...
Gokudera, on the other hand, stood in a corner, in a fetal position, begging for forgiveness and depressed for disappointing his beloved boss... And obviously I feel ignored by said boss, who was probably intentionally ignoring it or hadn't even noticed. Emma did her best to ignore him, Byakuran hadn't even noticed, and Yamamoto ignored him, feeling a little guilty... but the best thing at that time was to keep Tsuna happy and content until he finished eating. It was a pity, really, I would have wanted to steal part of that pizza... But he loved his life, so he wouldn't dare, he just wouldn't. And Yamamoto was not the only one who thought this, not at all, it was everyone present, who kept their distance, some more than others.
It was a good thing that Tsuna didn't linger more than about 10 minutes, at least on pizza, because it was a bit difficult to carry on a conversation peacefully... It was official, chaos and disaster was the norm in that family, whether they wanted it or not. Unknown to all of them, Tsuna could only laugh and smile, occasionally calling the attention of one of them, but wisely (according to them) no one asked. If they had asked, nothing more than a simple answer would have happened: "I told them not to make a mess, not to hold back.", and by disaster he meant the destruction of the house in a radical way, or very simply interrupting his food in some way (intentional or not). Tsuna knew very well that chaos was the healthiest thing for his family, not because it was good, but because they couldn't go a single day without something happening, good or bad or both, if there were two or more together... That he was the most controlled was another matter, he was the one who did the paperwork and in truth he was too calm to blow up half a mansion every time he got upset or wanted to try a point, or worse: he wanted to have fun. It could be a murderer, a mafia boss, and so on... But he wasn't a masochist (and throwing himself more work was stupid too).
"Chocolate~"
Emma broke out in a cold sweat, Byakuran blinked and smiled amused, Yamamoto grimaced nervously, and Gokudera just looked at his boss without having expected that. Hey, in his defense, they hadn't heard him sing in that tone, even if it was just a playful call.
"Here's a bunny~"
Tsuna ignored the explosions that followed, or the wall that had seen better days, or the table broken in two, or any of the noises, destruction, and so on that followed. Rather, they had been debating how long the peace was going to last... or, rather, how long Bya-kun was going to last without calling it something that Gokudera considered disrespectful.
"What did he do now...?" A new voice said, but at the same time not so new.
"Good afternoon, Irie-kun." Tsuna greeted happily, starting to devour a bar, and inviting Emma to eat with him. "Not really, just that Bya-kun called me a bunny." I explain as if nothing bad had happened, and being called a bunny was perfectly normal.
None of them knew that, in reality, for Tsuna to be called a bunny was perfectly normal, very normal, and he was already more than used to Bya-kun giving him that kind of nickname. He was also more than used to the fact that if Gokudera was present when that happened, there would be disaster, a lot of disaster... and not only Gokudera, if he thought about it.
"Do you want to, it's good." Irie looked at the piece of chocolate without knowing what to think... and I take it, putting it in my mouth.
Irie had to be thankful that no one seemed even remotely worried about the mini-war that was destroying the house right next to them, or he would be so nervous that he wouldn't hold his stomach and couldn't have accepted the chocolate. Even so, he wouldn't take any chances and would only eat a small piece. No one asked why Tsuna didn't offer anything to Gokudera or Yamamoto, from Bya-kun not to speak, he had more sweets hidden in God knows where (the vast majority marshmallows). Yamamoto just laughed, what else was he going to do?
"Why don't we go play, you choose the game." Tsuna offered even eating chocolate in a very good mood.
And so, Byakuran and Gokudera were left alone and ignored to continue with the destruction of the place... Byakuran was having a lot of fun, playing with Gokudera, although if they continued like this things could soon get serious. The reason why Tsuna didn't offer Gokudera anything was to avoid more disaster, Gokudera wouldn't take it well for his boss to offer him chocolate given by Bya-kun (especially if Bya-kun called him a bunny), and honestly he didn't need to give Bya-kun more ammunition to make him make fun of Gokudera more. Regarding Yamamoto... I couldn't ruin his figure and have the fans try to kill him, could he? that didn't matter to Tsuna. No, Tsuna just didn't want to give Yamamoto a lot of energy, it didn't always happen, but if it did... no, he just wasn't in the mood to fight or try to stop Yamamoto in case he came up with a wonderful idea in the form of madness, maybe tomorrow or another day, but not now.
"At last... We arrived..." The reason for the pause was not tiredness, shortness of breath, fear, surprise, or similar.
"...Tsk..." In the same way, the reason was none of the above.
"...I'm going to kill him." And while it may seem like it was anger, this wasn't the reason either.
The first reason was simply, "No, not again, why God, why?" and it belonged to none other than the Arcobaleno of the rain, Collonelo. The second reason was similar: "It can't be...", and belonged to none other than the Arcobaleno of the sun, Reborn, who could only cover his eyes with his hat and let out his murderous intent. The third reason was a little more... intense, for lack of a better word, and it was: "This brat is going to die if he's going to be doing this all the time, and then I'll kill Reborn for teaching him such bad habits..."
"Well... Let's go in, Kora—you have to be kidding, Kora..." Collonelo just knocked on the door, and it collapsed.
"...If it was your student, I'm going to kill him." Lal told Reborn, she was still irritated with everything they had to do to repair the damage the boy did a few days ago... If they had to repair something else that week, she would personally slaughter the deceased.
"I'll take care of it if that happens..." I couldn't blame them, attend to so many complaints and be aware that the repair was completed was tiring...
They entered, and once they took five steps inside the house, the three of them stood still, looking at what was in front of them without being able to react for at least five seconds. The reason? half the house had seen and lived better days and now they had to repair half of the house almost from 0, but not only that... The culprits were still in their fight. If that could be called a fight, Byakuran was happily eating marshmallows, dodging explosions and making sarcastic comments, which only angered Gokudera more, who took out more bombs. Without saying anything, Reborn adjusted his hat and went upstairs quickly, wanting to evade the explosion that was going to happen at any second—
"WRETCHED WRETCHES—"
The rest that came out of Lal's lips was not an act to be repeated, nor for children. It was a very good thing that the children were not around, nor would they be for a few more days, because Lal was just beginning. And Collonelo hadn't even finished processing how he was going to react, but it wasn't going to be pretty either. And while Reborn wanted to team up to kill those two, he had a very important question that needed answering: where was Tsuna and why did he let those two destroy the house?
"Ciaousuuu~"
Leon jumped from his hat into his hand, curiously looking at the scene in front of them. It was kind of funny, kind of weird, and kind of out of place... First, they were playing Mario Kart, apparently none of those present were even remotely aware that the house was being demolished with explosions right downstairs. The second was simple: there was an air of discomfort, but they were still joking, annoying each other, and playing with all their hearts. Tsuna had seized one of Irie's legs, using it as a pillow as she waited for her turn. Irie was competing with Yamamoto for first place, and Emma... Emma was right behind her, about three red turtles in hand and with a malicious smile, laughing only at what she was going to do. And... apparently Natsu was cheering Emma on, or maybe he just wanted to see disaster, there was no denying that it was funny. And the third thing... No one, strange as it seemed, was eating sweets, even though there was a whole bag in one corner of the room.
Sadly, Reborn didn't know that he had entered a crocodile cage, or the wolf's den, or perhaps the lion's cage... Similarly, the meaning was the same: he had entered a danger zone. Sure, Lal and Collonelo could be killing Byakuran and Gokudera (you could hear the screams of pain, mercy, maniacal laughter, and the marshmallow lord's calm comments) for all he knew... What he didn't know was that there was someone who wanted to kill him much more than Lal and Collonelo's desire to kill the two poor souls downstairs combined. Maybe Reborn must have expected it, Tsuna would sooner or later find out about the movies and have a reaction about it. However, that was not the only thing I did not know at the time, and sadly that fact did have a lot of importance. If Reborn hadn't been so busy cleaning up his student's mess and taking the thousand and one calls (again) from many people who thought he had caused such destruction, he probably would have come prepared... with a lot of patience.
"You..." Reborn looked directly at Tsuna, who had not yet moved. "You... GREAT SON OF...!" The rest that came out left the other occupants of the room cold, and even Reborn himself.
At the first word shouted, Tsuna was already in front of Reborn, had grabbed him by the neck and started shaking him... At this point, the game was forgotten...
"Let go of me, give me-tsuna." Reborn gave him a good kick in the jaw, hard enough to leave anyone crawling on the floor...
"I want my rights, my unhappy pay, and a well-deserved apology, wretch!" But Tsuna didn't seem to feel anything at all. "And I want it now, do you hear me?"
This time, Reborn used Leon as a sledgehammer... Surprisingly, Tsuna continued as if nothing had happened, perhaps even more annoyed, despite having received three big blows... a single one would be enough to knock anyone unconscious.
"Ma Ma, leave the baby alone—"
Mistake, very bad mistake, Yamamoto realized. Whether it was what he was saying, whether it was because I put a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down, or both, what he received was a good kick in the knee and a spraying look.
"Don't get involved, this is between father and son." That said, and accentuating the murderous gaze more, Tsuna returned to shake Reborn and demand his copyright, his contract, his pay, and his well-deserved apology, from a very surprised Reborn.
While the rest of those present were surprised by what was said, they were not as surprised as they should have been. The most surprised of all was Reborn, and perhaps he and Tsuna were the only ones who weren't ashamed of what Tsuna said. Did Tsuna consider him as a father in the future or what the hell had he missed?
"Dame-Tsuna..." He warned again.
"Give me-Tsuna my ass!" Well, at least I was sure that in the future Tsuna had lost fear of the consequences and had come out of his low self-esteem... "I'm Tsunayoshi Sawada, Tsuna to you, do you understand that?" Reborn didn't even blink at the withering glare, though he was impressed.
"Let me." This Tsuna had guts and a very high resistance to pain... If his strength increased further, he could break a bone or worse.
"If I let you go, you won't take me seriously. And, if you don't take me seriously, I'll make disasters until you do..." He promised as if talking about the weather.
"...All this is because..." I ask Yamamoto, but what's up...
"My contract!, my pay!, my rights!, my apologies!"
"...He's going to sue you..." Irie said nervously, and Emma nodded hurriedly.
"...I see..." All this for only two movies?
"No, you don't understand it, a shoddy narcissist." Everyone paled except Reborn and Tuna himself, the latter two were going to kill each other at any moment.
"Mucus—"
"It's one thing for you to humiliate me in front of my friends, my family, to make fun of me, to make me suffer and writhe in pain and shame and I can't do absolutely anything without you doing something worse to me..." Heavens, how angry. "But it's quite another thing if you do it worldwide, father. It's very, very different, and if I have to go through hell on earth to get what I deserve I will do it. You have no right to do this to me without even telling me, or asking my permission..."
Now that the others thought about it... Tsuna had a good point.
"...I'll give you your contract tomorrow." Reborn grimaced... This could be masochism or a lot of willpower, he should be fainting with such a blow. "I agree... I'm sorry for humiliating you publicly, I didn't think you took it so badly..." Nor that I really would have humiliated him, it just made him famous...
At this point, Reborn blinked several times at the rainbows, flowers, and ponies... where the hell did he come from—
"That's better." Reborn blinked several times at the kiss on the cheek, and it was at that moment that he realized what was out of place. "I hope you don't do it again, or I'll have to bring out the heavy artillery, Father." That said, I leave Reborn on the floor and practically jump into his seat from before, taking control away from Emma.
"...Ma Ma... don't look at me like that baby..." That baby was very intimidating or maybe he was very bullied by Tsuna lately.
"What did they give you?" Because there was nothing in the house.
"Byakuran-san gave them to him a few hours ago, Tsuna ate most of them and—"
"Keshi-chan~"
Yamamoto blushed a little and smiled a little embarrassedly. Tsuna had grabbed it for being strangely affectionate... very affectionate. At that moment, Tsuna just wanted to play with him and surely use him as a pillow again, and maybe scare him to death with another kiss on the cheek...
"Ma Ma, you're making us dust..." Even with all the flying turtles that had fallen on him, Bowser Jr. was still winning.
"Don't worry, Yamamoto-san, I'm going to catch up with him, just a little more... ready!" That was pure luck; I beat him by thousandths of a second in the middle of the finish line.
"It's not fair..." I'm done with sixth grade... but he had been beaten up at the point of turtles, he didn't use Mario again, he was a fraud... he would use Luigi.
"There are still two races left, I bet I'll be the winner." Yamamoto just laughed; with Tsuna that was going to be a challenge.
"Let's see, remember that I'm in third grade." And it was still competition.
"Guys, this is for fun..." He was fifth on the scoreboard... he hadn't been very lucky—puff! "Hey... Tsuna, are you sick?" He asked carefully, not knowing what to think as he had Tsuna's head on his shoulder—actually, Tsuna leaning on top of him.
"...Tsuna?, hey, are you—"
"But what—"
Irie blushed, quite a bit, and could only look at Tsuna quite surprised and perplexed. Why the hell had he kissed him on the cheek so suddenly?
"Sho-chan~"
While poor Irie blushed even more, especially at the flowers and rainbows that he didn't know where they came from, or because the hell had to appear at that precise moment to make everything even more uncomfortable, Emma and Yamamoto came closer.
"Are you okay, Tsuna, do you feel bad?"
Emma put a hand on his forehead to see if he had a fever... that wasn't a great idea, because Tsuna smiled at him and took his other hand and kissed his palm before saying:
"Emma-chan~" And now, Tsuna hugged him very tightly with no apparent explanation.
"...Hey, Tsuna-kun—"
"Tsu-chan~ Can you tell me Tsu-chan~"
The three looked at each other, with horror and surprise. Perhaps if this had not happened so much,
"Keshi-chan~" And now Tsuna had the two of them in a bear hug, smiling happily. And not only that, before any of them could do or say anything, Tsuna had kissed Takeshi on the cheek, and laughed lightly before curling up in the embrace.
It was thanks to the latter, the kiss specifically, that Yamamoto was completely frozen, staring at Tsuna almost in fear. It wasn't because of the kiss, or the hug, or the behavior, or the sudden affection he was showing them... It wasn't even the little smiles and laughter, or the way I was calling them; the cuteness wasn't the problem either...
"...No more sweets for you..." Especially no more chocolate...
"Keshi-chan?" Tsuna smiled amused as he was disheveled.
"So..." Yamamoto paused, trying to remember. "Tsu-chan, do you want to keep playing, or do you want to watch for a while?"
"See..." But even so, he didn't let go...
"Let's see, come here, isn't it better that way?" It wasn't exactly, though... normal.
Tsuna didn't say anything to them; he was quite happy just using one of his pillow legs and being disheveled... that, and scaring them from time to time by changing places, or giving them a surprise kiss. Sure, Irie and Emma wanted to know what the hell was wrong with Tsuna, but Yamamoto couldn't just say it that way... without being totally sure, he didn't want Tsuna to get upset or leave, he was safer and calmer there. That didn't mean that a certain white-haired boy was going to be saved...
Reborn turned and left the room.
"Aren't you going to stay, Dad?" He heard Tsuna's voice say, but he ignored it.
Reborn closed the door, under the stairs, walked to the big mess, omitting the blood and the others he would have to have fixed, and went over to see how Lal was massacring those two boys along with Collonelo. He waited a few seconds, turned Leon into a pistol, and calmly fired at the ceiling, stopping everything for a moment.
"Now that I have your attention... I have two things to tell you, Byakuran."
"Oh?" Even if he was all beaten, that didn't stop his semi-mocking tone. "I'm all ears."
"Thank you."
Time stopped, completely, for what seemed like an eternity. They were witnessing the Apocalypse, weren't they? Reborn, thanking anyone?
"Hey... Reborn..." No, it couldn't be, I must have heard wrong.
"I said thank you." They were all going to die, to die!
"But I haven't—"
"The second thing..." Byakuran lost his smile when he saw a bazooka on his face. "Dies."
Lal and Collonelo could only watch for a few minutes. Gokudera had already been unconscious for about 10 minutes, so he didn't witness the impossible. If they thought they were upset, Reborn was showing them that they had only had a baby tantrum... Now they practically had to repair almost the entire first floor and almost an entire neighborhood. If it weren't for the fact that what no one thought would happen happened, they would be upset about having to have all that repaired... In short, Byakuran should not have gotten out of bed that day, much less gone to Tsuna's house, let alone give her chocolates. While Reborn killed and finished off the boy again and again, they went upstairs... just to get the scare. And they understood, they understood perfectly that he had caused everything...
"Lal-chan!, Kora-chan!" The boy hugged and kissed them before they could blink, and even with the blows that followed, he didn't move a millimeter; rather, he hugged them more if that was possible.
It didn't take long for them to notice what was out of place, but what he really told them had happened was a simple, simple question:
"And Dad, did he really leave?"
Aside from the very out-of-context question, the somewhat worried and embarrassed looks of the other three boys were just telling them what they already knew...
"He'll come later, kora." Collonelo just said. I couldn't tell him that Reborn was around, and... destroying the neighborhood to kill and finish off one of his friends... especially now.
"Are you coming? There is room for everyone~"
No, they couldn't even tell him jokingly, and if they did, those three boys would try to kill them, and then Reborn would kill them for committing such idiocy. Without many options, they sat down to watch and play. They could leave... true, but it wasn't worth it if they risked Tsuna coming out and seeing the disaster, and God only knows what he would do if that happens. That, and they had to wait for Reborn to either get tired or finish before having everything fixed. At least they had been clever enough to place illusionists all around the perimeter... less paperwork and people involved. In addition... they would not tell this to anyone, not even dead, but Tsuna knew how to embrace, and the sudden affection was no less precious. Reborn was a fool to miss this... but they don't blame him for wanting to kill the culprit, they would go too... but if they did, bad things could happen, and Reborn would kill them even if nothing happened.
"Gao~" Natsu half-yawned, half-complained, climbing on Tsuna's head to get a better view of the game.
Natsu probably hadn't noticed the problem with his master, or he simply didn't see any problem with him. They would say the second, because he had tried to claim Tsuna for himself several times, and it wasn't like they couldn't see why that was why. Natsu was already quite attached to Tsuna and vice versa, so it was not strange to see Natsu act in this way even if his master...
"Sho-chan~" It was a bit awkward, to tell you the truth, but it was also fun.
Maybe they should be worried about Byakuran, who was surely being gunned down, tortured, and a little more... no, they would be doing the same if they could, or after Tsuna fell asleep or returned to normal (if he didn't do it himself). Although it was also their fault, Tsuna's more than anything... none of them thought to read the chocolate wrapper... And neither did any of them think that Byakuran was going to give something like that in large quantities to Tsuna, none of them really. That wasn't the strangest thing of all... at least not in their minds. To any of them, the strange thing was that Tsuna had called Reborn the father of all things, and only him, combined with the fact that he spoke perfectly, and moved almost normally. Anyone would have thought that he would become depressed, or burst into tears, even get upset and try to blow things up, but not that he would become extremely affectionate under these conditions—Blam!
"Sawada, explains why—"
"Kyo-chan~"
And so it was that Hibari was cut off at the beginning of his sentence, hugged even while in the window frame, kissed on the cheek by a very happy Tsuna, and all in less than five seconds and before he could react. Still processing what had just happened, Hibari didn't process that the boy totally ignored the blow he received with one of his tonfas in the stomach to get him to let go... in any case, it seemed that he had not even felt it...
"Herbivores..." I call very threateningly, demanding an explanation.
Irie held her stomach, Emma hid behind Yamamoto, and Yamamoto just smiled nervously...
"Byakuran gave him some chocolates, and well..." Yamamoto grimaced, no matter how he said it, he looked stupid and ridiculous...
"Kyo-chan~"
Hibari only narrowed his eyes, and patiently brushed Tsuna off before stepping out and closing the window quickly. A certain white-haired boy was going to die today, tomorrow he could bite Tuna to death... for two things now. The three boys looked at each other as Tsuna hugged Natsu and took Emma as a pillow.
"Are we saved...?"
None of them answered, with Hibari it could be that they only earned a few hours of salvation because with Tsuna like this... but they did not believe that they were saved...
"Gao Gao~" And neither Natsu nor Tsuna seemed to be aware of the danger...
And speaking of danger... what the hell were they going to do when Varia arrived? They were dead, definitely. Elsewhere, several men stopped at a restaurant for dinner. While they were at the table waiting, one of them asked softly:
"And how long do we have to go?" I was sick of sitting in a car... maybe he should have gone by plane.
"One more day at this pace, sir."
That's great... next time the complete Resident Evil saga would be brought, because heck... I had already finished all the movies this morning...
