Creed's thoughts turned. With a flick of his fingers, the ROOM expanded.
"ROOM!"
The ROOM spread across most of the space. The rolling poisonous gas suddenly froze, as if time itself had stopped.
"Ah!"
Creed appeared right at Magellan's side, giant sword slashing down!
Rinne: Tensei-dō (Heavenly Path)!
Rinne: Ningendō (Human Path)!
Rinne: Shuradō (Asura Path)!
Three slashes — each faster and heavier than the last. When Magellan tried to use three Poison Dragons to counter again, the three swords merged into one:
"Rinne: Jigoku-Ichii (Supreme Evil Slash)!"
"What?!"
The combined strike erupted like a tidal wave, illusions swirling, chilling Magellan to his core. His mind quaked — resistance was impossible.
Blood burst from his body as he retreated frantically. If not for the three Poison Dragons softening the blow, that single strike would have shredded him into fragments.
But Creed reappeared behind him in a flash — sword raised again!
Rinne: Chikushōdō (Beast Path)!
Rinne: Gakidō (Hungry Ghost Path)!
Rinne: Jigokudō (Hell Path)!
"Rinne: Zenshin-Ichii (Supreme Benevolence Slash)!"
Again, three strokes fusing into one — but this time, not ferocious and cruel. It flowed like spring winds, like gentle rain.
"Urgh!"
Magellan's Poison Dragons clashed with it, lessening the wound. Yet the sword's aura invaded his mind, lowering his fighting spirit until he almost stopped resisting.
"This sword… it's strange."
He realized too late.
BOOM!!!
A half-body Susanoo formed around Creed — azure energy armor manifesting as a towering general. With a massive punch, it smashed Magellan deep into the alloy floor of Level 6, leaving him dizzy and broken.
"Wha—?!"
Magellan roared, his body erupting with crimson light. It surged upward, forming a gigantic skull.
His strongest technique—
"Venom Demon: Judgment of Hell!"
Scarlet poison flooded the chamber, spewing in every direction.
"Warden Magellan, are you trying to kill us too?!"
"Stop, stop!"
"Mooooo!"
Guards and beasts screamed from the corners, begging him to stop.
"Good!"
Creed unleashed his Susanoo at full force — one hand wielding Raijin no Yari (Spear of the Thunder God), the other holding the Yata no Kagami (Mirror of Eight Divinities). Facing off against Magellan's giant, they looked like dueling gods.
Even hardened veterans like Redfield were stunned, awed by the clash.
"Hmph."
Redfield spread his Armament Haki, creating a barrier to shield Sadi-chan and Domino, tossing them inside for safety.
"Ying ying ying!"
Falkor also flew in, sensing the deadly poison. The jailer beasts, however, were not so lucky — Magellan's indiscriminate venom consumed them.
BOOM!
Creed's Susanoo lunged forward. Magellan couldn't be given time — the assimilation poison was too dangerous.
CRASH!
Venom Demon conjured a toxic blade, clashing against the Spear of the Thunder God — but Creed pierced through, nearly skewering Magellan if not for his quick dodge.
BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!
The spear detonated inside Venom Demon, ripping it apart.
"Creed!"
Magellan, eyes blood-red, drove his venom giant forward again. Nine Poison Dragons burst out, writhing like monstrous tentacles.
"RAAAGH!"
BOOM!
The Spear of the Thunder God exploded into countless bolts of lightning, obliterating the Poison Dragons instantly.
CRASH!
The Yata Mirror blocked Magellan's punch — then black flames erupted across Venom Demon's arm.
"Amaterasu!"
The inextinguishable black flames of the Sharingan — burning until nothing remained!
Terrified, Magellan felt the flames spread. Venom Demon — which had resisted even Akainu's magma before — shriveled and collapsed under the black fire.
"No! What is this fire?!"
Panic consumed him. If this flame touched his true body, the result was obvious: death.
Desperately, Magellan made Venom Demon spit poison gas bombs, covering his retreat. He tried to abandon the flaming giant and form another, even if it cost his life.
But—
"Yata Mirror!"
A flash of light. Susanoo warped space, appearing behind Magellan. From its other hand, a radiant blade fell.
"Totsuka no Tsurugi (Sword of the Totsuka Cloud)!"
BOOM!
The slash nearly bisected him, blood spraying as he crashed into the wall, rubble raining down. He slumped, broken, unable to fight.
Breathing heavily, he croaked in disbelief:
"You… how do you have Admiral Kizaru's Glint-Glint Fruit?! Impossible… impossible!"
He had thought Venom Demon would nullify ROOM, sealing victory. But Creed's Susanoo unleashed Amaterasu and the Glint-Glint Fruit's power, overwhelming him utterly.
"Creed… he's beyond the Admirals already…"
Magellan's voice faded, crushed beneath failure.
"ROOM!"
Creed dismissed Susanoo, expanded his ROOM, and transported Redfield and Falkor to Level 5. Out of compassion, he even took Sadi-chan and Domino — leaving them behind meant certain death from poison.
"Director Creed!"
The two women called out, bowing deeply.
"Thank you!"
"Goodbye, Sadi-chan, Domino."
Creed waved farewell and left with Redfield and Falkor.
But waiting above… was another familiar face.
