Levi reached the left section, his expression shifting between surprise and confusion.
'Are you sure one of these is mine?' he asked the band.
Your dormitory is the one on the first row, master Levi, the reply came, striking Levi's heart like thunder.
Each of the mansions in the place was huge, comparable to the main mansion in the Orrin estate.
"This is beyond extravagant," he mused with a sigh.
However, the sight also reminded him that the academy was the greatest force in the world.
He reached the first building and walked in.
The house glittered brightly with a pristine golden light.
His palm rested gently on the knob as he attempted to open the door.
But as he applied force, the door did not budge. His brows furrowed as he thought of things that could have happened.
'Hey, what is wrong with the door?' he asked the band.
The door has not yet synchronized with the master, the band explained.
'Then, how do I do that?' Levi asked.
The band did not respond, making Levi nervous. "Did I break it just on the first day?" He could not help but ask.
But the thought was cut short as a chime came from the band.
The door released a sharp click sound as it opened slowly.
'What did you do?' he could not help but ask the band.
I helped synchronize your information with the mansion's data, the sound reached Levi's mind.
"Ohh," Levi nodded in understanding as he strolled into the mansion with calm and precise steps.
Welcome, Master Levi, a cold, mechanical voice greeted him as he stepped in.
Levi's eyes darted through the hall. The marble tiles reflected his image. The entire house was painted white.
His eyes rested on an orb that hovered in the centre of the hall. 'Was it the one that spoke?' He asked the band.
It is the home assistant, and yes, it was the one that spoke.
Levi nodded at the explanation. 'I have to name this thing, we would be together for a long time,' he thought.
'Can I give you a name?' He asked the band first.
It will be a pleasure, Master Levi.
Levi nodded, thinking of names he could give to it. 'What about Max?'
Thank you, Master Levi.
Levi smirked at how life-like the band behaved, but he did not mind. He was sure it was the product of a high-level technological crack.
'Max, what is the use of the home assistant?' He asked as he surveyed the rest of the house.
It functions like a maid, but it does things much faster. It can be used from anywhere since it is connected to me, Max replied quickly.
"Then, is there a training room?" He asked the home assistant.
Master Levi, do you wish me to take you to the training room? It asked.
"Yes."
Levi felt the world spin, then he disappeared, reappearing in a vast plain. It looked more like an open field than a training ground. The grass was well trimmed, not enough to affect motion or sight.
"Is this a training ground?" He muttered to himself, confused.
The place was too wide, spanning thousands of kilometers at a glance. 'I need to get used to their meaning of distance in this world, or I would just keep getting surprised,' he thought.
Then he sat cross-legged.
He was meant to rest since he would barely be able to in the coming week, but he couldn't bring himself to rest.
He had things to devour and even a pet to tend to.
At the thought of the wolf, he wanted to summon it from the inventory, but held back.
This was the academy grounds, and they could be monitoring him.
Black mist spread from his body, quickly covering the entire plain. One of the nanites entered the band, checking for anything suspicious.
The nanites came back after searching. Levi was stunned by their find. The academy did not place anything to monitor them, and it was the same for the band.
With nothing holding him back, he summoned the system. "First, show me my point balance," he said with a smile.
Earlier, while he was killing beasts in the crack, the system constantly alerted him that he gained points.
[The host has 27,328 points.]
A smile bloomed on Levi's face as he read the notification. "Can I buy a bloodline enhancer with that?"
[A sacred bloodline enhancer costs 10,000 points. Does the host want one?]
"Yes," Levi yelled with vigor. If someone were here, they would be shocked to see the calm heir of the Orrin clan behaving this way.
A golden vial appeared in his hand almost immediately.
He threw the vial up slightly and caught it mid-air with a smirk. With a thought, the wolf appeared beside him.
It was battered, but still alive.
With a wave of his hand, Levi summoned countless potions.
They had been piling up in his inventory from daily draws. The wolf looked at the potions, its eyes glowing with ecstasy. But it did not move; its master hadn't said anything.
Levi placed a large bowl he bought from the system before the wolf. The vials hovered above the bowl before emptying their contents into it.
"Drink," he ordered the wolf.
With a savage rush, the wolf drank the potions in huge gulps. In less than 3 minutes, the bowl was emptied.
A green glow covered the wolf's body, and the wounds began closing at a visible rate. Levi watched this with a calm smile.
Since he had endless regeneration, he doubted if he was ever going to use the potions. As the wounds finished healing and the green light dimmed, Levi's wrist flicked.
The golden vial went next, emptying the golden liquid into the bowl. The sweet fragrance made saliva appear on the beast's lips, but it controlled itself.
Levi pointed at the bowl, and the Wolf did not hesitate, instantly downing the liquid.
As it swallowed the last drop, a golden light erupted from its body. Before it could react, it was knocked uncouncious.
