Chapter 20 - SERVANT

[The host has over a hundred servant cards.]

"Wow!" Levi exclaimed. He had forgotten about the servant cards, only remembering now on his way back. "To think I already accumulated so many servant cards," he mused.

'What would happen if I created the best army? What about generals? They will be called Levi's shining general,' several scenarios played out in his mind as he fantasized about what he could do with the servants.

"System, bring them out of the inventory, and separate them based on tiers," he commanded.

A shimmer of white light, and several cards appeared on the floor, separated into 8 rows.

Levi's gaze swept over the cards, counting all of them easily with a glance. "270," he muttered.

5 Sacred, 10 Immortal, 11 Divine, 16 Mythic, 24 Legendary, 32 Unique, 58 Rare, and 114 Normal servant cards, that was what was there.

"I can't have low-grade beings among my allies," he muttered, his hands stroking his chin in a relaxed manner.

Then, his lips curved into a smile. "Fusion," he activated his skill.

Instantly, all the normal cards rose, then pressed against each other in a blinding light. As the light receded, it revealed the new card.

"Only Legendary?" Levi said with disappointment. Then he moved to the next one without delay.

8 Rare servant cards fused to form 2 Legendary ones, and 32 Unique cards formed one mythic.

"My allies should at least be of the Legendary tier."

"System, summon them all," he ordered, anxiety washing over him.

A portal formed before him, dark and chaotic. He felt dread wash over him just by looking at the portal.

[Host, please caution yourself, your mind is getting under the influence of the void because your emotions are spiking.] The system warned.

Levi's blank eyes quickly regained their light as the system chime sounded.

The portal disappeared, and in its place were beings of various races and statures.

"70," Levi made a mental note. That was the number of servants he had summoned.

As if guided by the same thought, they all fell to one knee, planting a fist into the floor.

"Greetings, master Levi," they said at the same time.

Levi was caught by surprise by their sudden action. He had not expected them to act that way.

But he still carried himself with the aura of a leader. Although surprised, he did not display those emotions on his face.

"You may rise," He declared firmly. He was not going to tell them to stop.

In a single motion, they all rose.

He did not have anything to say to them, so he sent them to the pocket dimension, all except the Sacred servants.

Levi looked at the 5 of them with a calm gaze.

There was nothing he wanted in particular; he only wanted to see their attributes and hear about their experience.

He looked at the first one. This human had a katana tucked by the side of his belt.

[Name: Lucan]

[Cultivation tier: Grandmaster stage 4]

[Bloodline: Voidspawn:

Spatial Lock: pins everything within range to its true coordinate, making movement or dodging impossible.

Void chamber: Can temporarily store a body part to avoid attack or prevent damage.

Warp Vein: The user's bloodline fuses with space itself. Their body instinctively bends distances; strikes shorten, dodges lengthen, and anything aimed at them often arrives late or slightly off-target.]

[Element: Space]

Levi stared at the bloodline, already imagining Aiden fighting with high-class demons on a huge battlefield.

Seeing Levi smile, Aiden was pleased. His blue hair swayed gently, and his blue eyes carried the calm of a seasoned warrior.

Levi was oblivious to this; he just moved on to the next one, a humanoid lion that stood at over 9 feet. Strapped to its back was a golden axe.

[Name: Zaroth]

[Cultivation tier: Grandmaster stage 2]

[Bloodline: Celestial Mane:

King's Roar: A roar that shakes spirit and body. Weak foes collapse in fear, strong foes falter, allies gain courage.

Apex Hunt: Mark's prey with will. Target can't escape detection until the hunt ends.

Rising Majesty: The user's body and aura expand in response to the threat. The stronger the enemy or the tighter the corner, the larger and more terrifying the lion's form becomes, boosting strength, speed, and destructive power without limit until the clash ends.

'Another crazy one,' Levi thought. 'Well, it is to be expected from the second most powerful bloodline in the world,' he concluded internally.

He went on checking the bloodline of each one, his mouth remaining widened throughout.

Apart from Lucan and Zaroth, there was also Thrainor, a dwarf and blacksmith. His bloodline also embodied blacksmithing. Then Elle, an elf, a healer, and an alchemist.

Then the most powerful of all of them, Aiden.

[Name: Aiden]

[Cultivation tier: Gradmaster stage 7]

[Bloodline: Soul Monarch:

Soul Fusion: Captured souls can be fused into servants or spectral warriors. Each creation is bound solely to the user's will and grows stronger as more souls are woven into its form.

Soul Devour: By consuming a soul, the user permanently strengthens their cultivation while gaining fragments of the victim's memories, talents, and skills. The stronger the soul, the greater the inheritance gained.

Soul Annihilation: The user can strike directly at the essence of an enemy, shattering their soul beyond repair. The destroyed spirit is reduced to pure essence, instantly absorbed to fuel the user's growth.

No matter how many times Levi looked at the status screen, he found this human unreasonable.

His eyes scanned the girl who barely stood at 5 feet. Since she entered the room, a calm, soothing, and cute smile had been on her lips.

Levi sighed. 'Who would think that behind this beautiful smile is such a formidable skill,' he wondered.

"You can go to the pocket dimension, train, and get ready; you might be called at any time," he warned. He opened the pocket dimension and closed it back after they entered.

"Why does it feel like I forgot something?" He whispered. "Or is it just me getting scared because of tomorrow's exams?" He convinced himself.

But he had truly forgotten something. His master and his pet were busy wrecking havoc in his mansion just beneath him.
