Chapter 16 - Chapter 16 Girl Stomping Grapes

Luka controlled the Inquisitor's chess piece and visited Olivia's foundry.

The small workshop could produce basic equipment and simple weapons but couldn't handle larger parts or heavy firepower.

As a biological sage, Olivia focused on experiments, not manufacturing.

In her lab, Luka saw rows of human-height culture tanks with grapevines in various growth stages.

Olivia was cultivating them for Luka.

"I've cultivated fifty grapevines, ready for vineyard transplant. With proper conditions, they'll bear fruit in nine months," Olivia said, annoyed at the interruption but briefing Luka. "Two hundred more seedlings are maturing over three months, with a ±10% error."

She paused, using a mechanical arm to show the planting and brewing parchment.

"Each vine yields 10-15 kg, so 250 vines produce 2,500-3,750 kg of grapes. 1,000 kg of grapes yields 700 kg of juice, making 400-600 liters of wine. Brewing equipment is in production, but a key step needs your help."

"What's missing?" Luka asked, concerned about Rostov II's future finances.

"Grape-stomping girls. The recipe requires pure, young girls to crush grapes barefoot for the best flavor," Olivia said, pointing to a gold-annotated paragraph. "I don't know why, but for pragmatism, please provide personnel for comparison and verification."

Seeing the bold gold text, Luka nearly fainted from shock.

This wasn't in the merchant's brewing guide, nor did he request gold annotation from the Servo Skull.

Only a constipated psychic on a golden toilet could've done this!

Old Man Huang's trickery! Worthy of the Gomorling tribe's brothel antics!

Suppressing his urge to rant, Luka calmed and said, "Contact the nuns later. They're pure, devout girls. Let them recite scriptures while brewing."

Luka didn't skip the step. Old Man Huang's mark meant obedience in the Warhammer world.

Who's to say Huang doesn't want JK foot-stepped wine? A Taila tradition since the 1930s!

"Nuns in the brewing process? Noted," Olivia said, recording Luka's order.

Luka shifted to business: "Sage Olivia, have you explored the alien ruins? Tell me more. I plan to form a reconnaissance team for preliminary exploration."

"Great suggestion!" Olivia's eyes glowed—literally. Her body, minimally modified, still had tricks.

Luka swallowed, underestimating her enthusiasm.

"Follow me. I've preserved all excavated artifacts," Olivia said, heading to the warehouse.

Luka followed. Olivia opened the warehouse with a complex process, granting Luka temporary authorization.

"All excavated alien artifacts are here. Lack of Skitarii and manpower limited deep exploration," Olivia said regretfully. "This race has metal bodies with self-regenerating material and advanced technology. Too few artifacts for full analysis. Ohm Messiah, please start excavation soon!"

"I'll study them and decide," Luka said, carefully observing the artifacts.
