Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 The Fleet Returns

Hiccup didn't answer Astrid; instead, he said without looking back, "I'll teach you later!"

Astrid, far from being displeased, instead trotted happily behind Hiccup, chattering endlessly, as if trying to attract Hiccup's attention that way.

However, Hiccup only responded with "hmm" and "ah" along the way, not in the mood to talk much.

Because the siren today made him realize the seriousness of the situation; this world was not as safe as he imagined, and he had to improve his strength as quickly as possible.

It would be best if he could find a magic book, then use the system to analyze it and directly learn magic; that way, at least he would have some protection.

After all, this world was not peaceful, and it wasn't as if peace would last just because you didn't expand.

Now, the Dragon's disturbance could be resolved, but in a while, pirates would come to disturb them, and at the same time, who knew how many sirens were hidden in the surrounding waters.

Therefore, he absolutely could not sit idly by; he had to take the initiative!

"Hey! Hiccup, what are you thinking about!? Are you still worried about the Night Fury!?" Astrid asked, feigning tenderness.

"No! I'm thinking about other things!" Hiccup said casually, then looked at Astrid and said, "Don't follow me anymore, I'm going back to sleep!"

Smack~~

Astrid jumped up and delivered a direct hit, and Hiccup's face even had Astrid's saliva on it.

"Bye-bye! See you tomorrow!" Astrid left with a blissful expression.

From a long distance, one could hear Astrid's hearty laughter, which made Hiccup shiver involuntarily. He couldn't help but think, "Since ancient times, the East has had legends about the West's unrestrained nature."

"There are also legends of a toothpick stirring a large vat, and Valkyries on the battlefield; if it came to serious business, they would surely be wild and fierce!"

Thinking of this, Hiccup vaguely felt a pain in his lower back.

And when the Twins, near Hiccup's wooden house, saw this scene, their hearts were filled with mixed emotions.

The Twins (Brother) said helplessly, "It seems the mighty Hiccup Warrior was finally defeated by the Valkyrie Astrid's offensive!"

The Twin sister found it truly difficult to accept the current outcome and couldn't help but burst into tears.

"Ah~~! How can this be? The Hiccup Warrior should like the gentle, beautiful, brave Ruffnut! How can he like Astrid!" Ruffnut leaned against a stone, crying uncontrollably.

She looked exactly like someone who had just been heartbroken.

And her brother added insult to injury, saying, "I didn't see Astrid and Hiccup all day today; it seems they were on a date all day!"

Thump! Ruffnut directly punched her brother's armor.

"Ah! Stop talking, the more you talk, the sadder I get!" Ruffnut screamed even more hoarsely.

The Twins (Brother) thought Hiccup had bullied his sister and picked up his flail, ready to go seek revenge on Hiccup.

Hiccup didn't notice the Twins (Brother) slowly approaching, hidden in the night. Just as the Twins (Brother) was about to succeed, he suddenly stopped in his tracks.

Roar~~

The Terrible Terror, covered in flames, emerged from the darkness, its vertical pupils fixed on the Twins (Brother), its meaning clear: another step forward, and it would burn him alive.

Such a bright light naturally attracted Hiccup's attention. He looked in the direction of the fire and said helplessly, "Quickly put out the fire!"

The Terrible Terror immediately extinguished the flames on its body, then trotted to Hiccup's front to complain.

"This human wants to attack master!" The Terrible Terror said, as if asking for credit.

But to the Twins (Brother)'s ears, he couldn't hear anything but the Dragon's roar.

However, Hiccup said with some disbelief, "Why would he ambush me!"

Roar~~!

The Terrible Terror directly spat out a stream of fire, illuminating the night sky, and perfectly revealed the Twins (Brother) standing dazedly in place, holding his flail.

Then, the Terrible Terror raised its proud head, seemingly waiting for Hiccup to praise it.

However, Hiccup casually waved his hand and said, "He can't hurt me with just that! Besides, don't I have you!"

With that, Hiccup directly walked into his small wooden house.

To be honest, Hiccup didn't trust either the human or the Dragon.

This wasn't a matter of trust or not; this Terrible Terror had lived for a long time and could already speak, its thoughts were much more complex than the mute Night Fury.

Secondly, who knew what madness Ruffnut was up to, staying up late at night; maybe she was just wandering around, or maybe she thought he was too strong and too popular, so she wanted to challenge him to show off.

All sorts of reasons were possible, after all, this world was truly too dangerous...

The next day, as the sun rose, a line of small black dots appeared on the coastline, and then a fleet of warships approached Berk Island.

After the Viking Warriors guarding the coast spotted the shadows of the warships, they immediately beat the war drums, notifying all the villagers to come to the beach to welcome the heroes' return.

However, this time, Chief Stoick led the lightly wounded Viking Warriors off the ship, looking dejected.

Because this time at sea, not only did they fail to find the Dragon Nest, but they were also attacked by a Dragon, and there were even circular holes punched by the Dragon on the warships.

Unlike the excited villagers on shore.

When those villagers saw Chief Stoick, they all said excitedly, "Chief, you're back! A big event happened on Bok Island while you were gone!"

"That's right! The entire Berk Island was affected! No one could remain unaffected!"

Hiccup's figure immediately flashed in Chief Stoick's mind, and he asked with a slight headache, "What big trouble has Hiccup gotten into now!?"

However, when they heard this, all the villagers couldn't help but be stunned, then said happily, "Hiccup is simply the strongest Warrior on Berk Island!"

"Hiccup is no longer what he used to be; he's not the Hiccup from before!"

"Yes! Yes! Go back and see for yourself! The Hiccup Warrior is truly amazing!"

"Hiccup is simply the first person ever on Berk Island, no one can compare to him!"

When Chief Stoick heard this, he became even more flustered and kept reassuring himself, "No! Impossible! Before I left, I entrusted Gobber with taking care of Hiccup!"

"Hiccup would never cause trouble; did he cause trouble during new recruit training!?"

Thinking of this, Chief Stoick suddenly widened his eyes and muttered to himself, "Could it be that Hiccup fainted from fright during new recruit training and got injured!?"
