"Daniel Lee ! Daniel Lee !"
The crowd screams echoed to the back of the stage where Daniel Lee was preparing for his big break. Their excitement mads Daniel go through all emotions.
Hid sweat was dripping and no matter how many times he wiped it, it didn't make a difference
His heart beating heavy as he pace up and down his dressing room. His skin was pale and his cheeks rosy red, he was like a tomato ready to burst any minute. His sharp dark eyes were soon covered by red popping veins on the sclera.
He sat down for a moment trying to catch his breath.
"In-out" He inhaled and exhaled.
"I can't believe this is it ." He thought to himself burying his body deep into the couch.
He brain ran back to the moment where it all began.
––It was school time and his was sitting in his class room waiting for the lunch bell to go off.
"1, 2,3,4,5.." he counted the seconds in his mind. "6,7,8,9,10"
The bell went off . He ran to the back of the school , Him and his friend Billie his nicknamed Bills.
Him and Bills were friends since day care . They have a strong relationship some would even called them platonic soulmates.
Billie is a master mind when it comes to saving money, when they tease him they call him the finance boy.
"Daniel hurry up , you don't want to be late." Said Billie . "Jump over this fence, I will cover for you." He pointed and whispered as they sneak away from the classrooms to the back of the school were Daniel would make his escape.
"Okay bro … see you when I get back." He first threw his school bag, he then jumped to follow it.
"All the best bro,you got this." Shouted Bills while waving at Daniel who was running on full speed. "Make us proud." He added as Daniel's figure slowly fade from his sight.
Daniel run to the bus stop and took the first bus that appeared. The bus dropped him at the bus stop near the Big entertainment company called, High Speed Entertainment.
High Speed Entertainment were hosting a competition to sign high school talents and this has been Daniel's dreams since he was a pre teen.
He grew up in a home were music was medicine and dance was the sign of happiness and abundance.
His family introduced him to music at a young age even though both his parents were vocalist, he leaned more into rap and poetry.He loved the style and creativity that come with it.
His dance moves were also decent thanks to his friend Billie who is a street dancer and also raising choreographer.
Billie has always been there through his journey and his always been his number one fan.
Daniel rushed through the doors of this company and that's when the excitement and the adrenaline stopped, anxiety took over. He can't believe it— his future is now in his hands it's now up to him if he seize it or let it slide.
He paused infront of the huge brown door were the auditions would take place and took a huge deep breath before he pushed it open.
The door led him straight to the judges.
He stood infront of them and began to introduce himself.
"My name is Daniel Lee, I am seventeen years old."
"Good day, Daniel."Said the female judge who was sitting in the middle.
"What do you have for us today?" She asked.
"Today I will be doing my own rap song."He replied.
"Okay Daniel blow us all away."
He took two deep breaths before transforming to this rap monster. He is eyes suddenly changed from adorable to sexy in a second.
As soon as the beat drop he started rapping. It sounded more like poetry, the rhymes were matching the rhythm of his own heart beat.
His aura took over the room and the judges were silent and listening, their heads moving and nodding.
As soon as he was done the judges looked at each other and smiled. Huge silence took over the room causing him to be weak in the knees.
The old man who was sitting on the left side of the woman looked back at Daniel and said,
"Young man go back home and tell your guardian you are now the new talent of HSE."
—Daniel's flash back is disturbed by a stuff member who tapped him on his shoulder.
He opened his eye and raised them up to match the stuff member's gaze.
"It's time— get yourself together." said stuff member with a gentle smile.
Daniel nodded and give her a slight smile.
It's been three years now since Daniel has been signed to HSE and finally he has a chance to promote his new album at the biggest arena and all his tickets sold out.
He got up, took his mic and went on the stage.
The chant from his fans were even louder now.
He wave at them and the beat dropped, so did his heart.All this felt like a dream to him, he can't believe this is it— his big break.He listened as his fans rapped along the words he wrote. His heart ached a bit, he wished his parents were here to see his progressed.He wished his best friend was here to see that he made it just like he promised.
His stopped for a second and watched as the crowed took over, his glance catched a man in the front. He was tall, pale, black hair and red eyes. The man was just standing there like a mall statute staring dead into Daniel's soul with hand on his long black coat. His aura was suffocating yet hypnotizing at the same time.
Daniel blinked to take a clear look of this man, on his third blink the man disappeared.
In shock Daniel took a step back and breathe deeply as as he wait for the beat of next song to drop.
The beat dropped and his mind come back and didn't think much of the man in black.
