The Dragon Kingdom was a land of fire and sky, carved by the breath of its god. The mountains were his bones, the rivers his veins, the stars the sparks of his eternal flame. But though the Dragon God ruled in wisdom, even he grew weary of solitude.
From molten stone and crystal fire, he shaped two eggs. When they cracked, the kingdom rejoiced, for the god had given his people heirs.
The firstborn was Dwarf. His scales were black as obsidian, his body smaller but heavier than most dragonlings, and his eyes glowed like embers under ash. Even as a hatchling, shadows clung to him.
The second was Glow, a dragon who shone like morning fire. His scales glimmered gold, his wings shimmered with warmth, and his laugh lit the palace brighter than any torch.
The Dragon God looked upon them and said:
"You are my sons. Light and shadow, flame and stone. Together you will keep balance, for one cannot stand without the other."
The words were meant as blessing. One day, they would be remembered as prophecy.
