Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Her Threads of Fate

Opening

After the encounter with Umbra, Ael and Lyra rest in a small town away from the Distortion.

Ael still can't shake off the black handprint burned onto the Blank Page.

Lyra comforts him, though sorrow lingers in her own eyes.

---

Main Event

While Ael sleeps, Lyra walks to the riverside, holding a small mirror she's carried since childhood.

The reflection doesn't show her face—but tangled threads of fate.

Flashback → She was born into a "clan of Fate Watchers." Yet, her destiny was shattered from birth.

Everyone said: "You won't live past eighteen. Your thread will be cut."

She has survived only to seek the truth of her existence.

---

Revelation

Lyra admits her Reflection Link is not a gift—it's a curse.

Every time she peers into fate, she sees her own thread severed again and again.

She has only two years left before her destiny truly ends.

She joined Ael's journey hoping the Blank Page could "rewrite her fate."

---

Emotional Scene

Ael listens silently, then says: "Then let me erase that fate… and write a new one with you."

Lyra laughs through tears. "Are you insane? That means fighting against the world itself."

Ael answers firmly: "Then let it be a war against the world."

---

Ending Hook

The mirror in Lyra's hand trembles—her threads shifting faintly, as if Ael's words are already altering them.

From the shadows of a distant tree, a figure watches, whispering to Umbra:

"The girl with the severed fate… is beginning to change."
