Chapter 1 – The Cute Experiment
In the laboratory, Docter stared at the system, his fingers tracing invisible patterns over the glowing interface.
"…Are the kids sick? Or… just a cold?" he muttered. But he didn't linger; work always came first.
---
Meanwhile, in the school's storage room, Leo and Ash were trapped.
Leo: "Open the door, you bastards!!" he shouted, his anger echoing against the metal walls.
Ash, trying to stay calm: "Stay calm… they won't… right?!"
Leo peeled off his shirt, sweltering from the heat. Thwack! The shirt flew straight into Ash's face.
"I will never forgive you, Ravers!!" Leo growled.
Ravers, the instigator, smirked. He had tricked the whole class into mocking Leo and Ash, and the gym teacher, thinking it was fun, let them.
Ravers: "Pathetic." He chuckled, pulling out his phone.
But Leo's roar—a mix of fear and fury—made him freeze.
"Wake up…!! Open the door…!!"
When Ravers finally forced the door open, the scene before him froze his grin. Leo sat there, shirtless, holding Ash close. The air felt heavy, almost suffocating.
Ravers, laughing, lifted his phone: "Perfect… time for a photo."
A sharp tap on his head from the gym teacher reminded him that phones were banned.
---
Back at the lab, Docter leaned back in his chair, watching the scene unfold through the system. His other self, Evil, flickered beside him, muttering complaints about being pulled into another experiment.
Docter: "My little experiment… still so… cute."
Even Ravers' father, a split-off evil version of Docter himself, observed silently, amused. He had given Ravers money to buy a house, letting him wander freely, while Leo and Ash scrimped to afford their tiny apartment. Sometimes, Leo had to crash in the lab—or on the sofa—to save on rent. And thanks to the strange connecting portal between the places, anything could happen at any time.
Ravers, with his huge ego, nearly drove his father mad more than once—but somehow, he was still more… human than those two old generals.
---
Elsewhere, Docter reminisced about the past. Leo and Ash were originally intended to be weapons—machines of war—but the experiments failed. Instead of destructive power, they became absurdly cute. Docter had tried to terminate the DNA back then, but seeing their charm, he had kept them. Frozen and Reaper, the first failed experiment turned adorable companions, now living under his chaotic care.
And Evil? A personality who could never truly die, always dragged into experiments, yet somehow thriving in his own cunning way.
---
The lab was alive with tension, absurdity, and hints of chaos. Outside, in the mundane school corridors, the drama between Leo, Ash, and Ravers continued—oblivious to the cosmic chess being played by their creators.
The cute experiment had begun.
