This... was once a peaceful land where different races from different places live in harmony. Though it was peaceful, it doesn't necessarily mean it will forever be peaceful. There was once a person who dreamt of becoming the strongest mage in the land, he has done much research, but he was never satisfied....
One day, he went to the tavern as usual to drink his worry away. But then... He heard from a couple of mage that the same as him of an ancient grimoire that is said to contains all the knowledge of the world that can grant the person any kind of power they desire. So, to achieve his dream, he travels around the world in search of the grimoire. The journey went on for a long time... Until... He found it. The grimoire from the legend, without time to spare, he immediately opened up the grimoire.

But... It wasn't exactly what he had hoped for.

The grimoire wasn't a grimoire of knowledge. It was a forbidden grimoire. The grimoire does grant the person power, but it came with a price. It amplifies the person's desire by a millions of times, if the person who uses it doesn't have the mental capacity to withstand the influence, they would completely lose their mind and die. But... What if the person withstood the power?

This is exactly what happened to the person. He successfully kept their mind intact from the influence, but the grimoire... Twisted his desires. Because of the grimoire influence, he turned into a demon and became mad. His wish was to become the strongest mage, but it has now been twisted. His desire is now, to rule the world with the power he obtained, he assumed as the demon lord.

It was a disaster, because of him. The world is now in turmoil. He started a war that will be known to this day as "The Great War". The war caused many to lose their homes, and cost many innocent lives....
Just when everything seems to be hopeless, a few figures descend from the sky. They had a pair of bright white wings on their back, a golden shiny halo floating on top of their head and wore a bright white clothes while holding a book in their hand. They call themselves the god envoy, and are here on their god commend to deliver a message from them.
The god high above the sky stated their wishes of helping the people to defeat the demon lord as the demon lord's existence was a threat towards the land. And so, the god gave the people their blessing to deal with the demon lord. With the blessing, they begin to fight back against the demon lord army.
There were 5 individuals that stood out when taking down the demon lord. The power they had was a hundred times better than the average person. So they were called, "The Hero". The 5 individuals which include a warrior, an archer, a berserker, a mage, and a saint. Each from different races such as elf, beast folk, demon and a spirit. Together, they took down the demon lord and ended his madness. They brought peace onto the land once again.
Nowadays, the land is peaceful. The remaining demon lord forces signed a contract to cease all war. As the world is now peaceful, there was no need for God's blessings anymore. So the god was said to have left, it is rumoured that they went to a different world to give their help.The same goes for the 5 heroes, they also disappeared after the war. Rumours said they have ascended to the heaven realm and became god, or maybe they have returned to their original life, or the heroes were not real and so on. But no one ever knew the truth.
Before the god left, they shared a portion of their power to nine residents of the world. That's why there are currently nine elemental deities who have control over their respective elements, such as "Fire", "Ice", "Water", "Wind", "Earth", "Lighting", "Plants", "Light", "Dark". The people worship the deities, hoping to gain protection in return.

A woman closes the book while sitting beside a bed.
"That's it?! But I want to hear more!" (Young kid)
The kid was upset at the sudden stop of the story. His mother beside him smiled and comforted him by caressing his head.
"It's already quite late, so you should sleep now. You want to have a refreshing morning, don't you?" (Young kid mother)
Said the mother with a kind tone.
"I wonder what happened to the heroes. Do they still hang out with each other? Or do they go their separate ways?" (Young kid)
"I wonder that as well. I would like to imagine that they would hold a party every now and then." (Young kid mother)
"I think so too! They must be great friends!" (Young kid)
"Alright alright, don't get too excited now. Time to sleep." (Young kid mother)
*Smooch* the mother kisses her child on his forehead as she covers her child with the blanket.
"Goodnight mom…" (Young kid)
"Goodnight sweetie." (Young kid mother)
"I will prepare your favourite food tomorrow morning, Omelette!" (Young kid mother)
"Yay!" (Young kid)
The mother put out the fire in the lantern and left the room. The kid turned to the window while lying inside his blanket. Gazing into the starry night sky before drifting into a dream world with a smile. A world where he became a part of the hero team and sat together eating their favourite foods.

"GAHAHAHA, you think you can defeat me?!" (Giant)
A giant that was holding a large sword confronted the person that was wielding a dark colour flaming scythe.
"..." (?)
"Too scared to talk? I will make sure you die a gruesome death, to avenge all my brother and sister!" (Giant)
The giant said loudly while the person's eye was full of what seemed to be tears made out of hatred, agony, pain and was staring… blankly? at the giant, there was no sign of emotion in that person's eyes as if they had lost all meaning of life.
"Grr… stop staring at me! Your gaze is making me uncomfortable!" (Giant)
The giant was intimidated by the uneasy gaze.
"Take this!" (Giant)
The giant attacked the person with full force. Seemingly trying to hide his fear for them.
"..." (?)
There is a saying that goes, "When you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes back."
"It's futile." (?)
Before the giant could even land a hit on the person…. No…. Before the giant could even realise what happened.
*Shing!*

His head slowly fall to the ground. He didn't even process that his head was cut off.
"What?" (Giant)
It all happened so suddenly, even though the head of the giant had already been cut off. He still has consciousness.
"How did you-" (Giant)
*Shing shing shing shing shing!*
The person follows up with a rapid slash on the giant head as well as the body, cutting it to pieces.
*Drip…*
Blood came pouring down from the sky, making it rain of blood while under the starry sky.
"How meaningless…" (?)
The words left his mouth quieter than a whisper, swallowed by the sound of the rain of blood.

The person, drenched in blood, stood there silently, looking at the sky. Black tears that were mixed with the blood were still pouring out of his eyes.

The person's gaze suddenly landed on someone.

The person began charging at his next target at high speed.

"Huh? Wha-what is it Peter?" (Zacky)
"I have been calling your name for ages, what are you standing there for?" (Peter)
Peter was furious at me.
"Me, Helix and Lujr have been waiting for you this whole time you know?" (Peter)
"I guess I must have dozed off, heh, sorry." (Zacky)
"Sigh… Anyways, we're already late. So we must get going now. You better apologise to everyone." (Peter)
"Yes, yes. I'm sorry for being late…. My dear Peter." (Zacky)
I grabbed Peter and kissed him on his face.
"H-hey! Stop that!" (Peter)
Peter immediately pushed me aside and walk towards Helix and Lujr. Blushing heavily before turning around.
"Hmph… if you want to do that. Wait until we finish our commission first you dumb dragon." (Peter)
"Sure. Whatever you say my dear." (Zacky)
"Cut it out and let's get going already!" (Peter)
Peter then grabbed my hand and ran off.

"What took you guys so long?" (Helix)
"Yeah… it was pretty long." (Lujr)
Helix and Lujr were sitting on a bench.
"No time to waste! Let's get moving! Zacky?" (Peter)
"Yes yes, I'll open the portal right now." (Zacky)
*Snap!*
With a snap of my finger, a portal appears right in front of us.
"Let's go!" (Peter)
"Finally…" (Helix)
Everyone jumped into the portal.
"...Heh. How did I even fall in love with you in the first place? Even though you fell for me first but… I fell even harder for you.... Like we are destined to be together…" (Zacky)
With a smile, I also jumped into the portal, joining them on the upcoming adventure.
