Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Ring of Gods

The wind swept across the cliffs of Mount Pelion, carrying with it the scent of rain and the electric hum of untamed energy. Atop the jagged rocks, 17-year-old Hachiman crouched, eyes fixed on the strange metallic glint buried partially in the soil. His fingers trembled slightly—not from fear, but from anticipation.

It had been months since he arrived in Britannia, the kingdom where gods, monsters, and humans coexisted in a fragile balance. Hachiman's life before this had been ordinary, filled with school, trivial arguments with friends, and the mundane struggles of teenage life. But that life ended the moment he discovered the Kamigami no Shinwa-jō no Buki, an ancient ring said to be forged in the heart of the Ash trees of Mount Pelion, imbued with the very essence of mythological weapons.

The ring was unlike anything Hachiman had seen. Its surface shimmered like liquid silver, engraved with celestial runes that seemed to shift when viewed from different angles. He felt it vibrate as his fingers brushed it—a pulse of power, raw and infinite. The legends spoke of its capabilities: to summon weapons of gods, channel heavenly and demonic energy, and even command the elements themselves.

Hachiman slipped the ring onto his finger. The moment it touched his skin, his surroundings erupted in blinding light. He felt the surge of heavenly energy, warm and luminous, coursing through his veins, and alongside it, a dark, biting current of demonic energy. His body trembled, and then steadied, as if the ring had evaluated him and decided he was worthy.

The first weapon to manifest was Zeus' Thunderbolt, crackling with lightning that danced across his palm. Then came Mjölnir, its handle forming from thin air, heavy yet perfectly balanced. Hachiman could feel the weight of its history, the countless battles it had fought. Poseidon's Trident emerged next, its prongs slicing through the air, dripping with invisible power. But these were only the beginning.

The ring's true main weapon—the one that defined Hachiman's destiny—was the Vajra, a divine weapon of both destruction and creation, capable of obliterating armies or summoning life itself. Alongside it, Achilles' Spear, forged from the Ash trees of Pelion, pulsed with latent energy so potent that even a single strike could level mountains. Hachiman understood, with a mixture of awe and fear, that he had been chosen not just as a wielder, but as a force capable of challenging gods themselves.

Arrival at the RRP Academy

Weeks later, Hachiman arrived at RRP Academy, a sprawling fortress of knowledge and combat mastery where the kingdom trained its most elite warriors. The academy specialized in Heavenly Techniques, rare and powerful abilities fueled by the energy of celestial and demonic realms. Students here commanded elements, tamed mythological creatures, and mastered abilities that bent reality itself.

Hachiman's first challenge wasn't a sparring match—it was survival. The academy was home to creatures like Cipactli, a massive serpent that could consume entire battalions; Ahuizotl, a water demon with hands that could tear reality; and Atotolin, a sky serpent whose wings could summon tornadoes. His companion through it all was his pet—a majestic Pegasus, its wings silver and radiant, eyes glowing with intelligence and loyalty. With Hachiman riding high, the two became a blur of speed and light, darting through forests and mountains, evading death at every turn.
