ARIA
The atmosphere in the room shifted as my captors appeared.
"Atlas?" I mumbled, my brows creasing into a frown. My tongue slipped out to lick my lower lip as I continued to stare in confusion.
This made no sense. I was sure someone else captured me. They hit the back of my neck. It still throbbed. Yet, I couldn't understand why I was in here with Atlas and the rest. Why was I tied up as if I had committed a grave offence, and he couldn't wait to punish me?
His eyes hardened, and his lips stretched in a thin, angry line. He barely stared at me twice. I couldn't read the expression on his face. It was blank and too cold for me to discern what he was thinking.
"Oh, she's awake!" Elias exclaimed. His voice was light and warm, far from the tension that was soon beginning to surround the room.
