Chapter 24 - Torn Clothes and Shattered Self-Esteem

Dominic stood amidst the ruins, hands still in his pockets, a cynical smile on his face. He squinted at the Abomination crawling out of the rubble, a smirk playing on his lips. The Abomination's eyes were filled with rage and hatred; each step he took caused the ground to tremble slightly, clearly having been completely enraged by Dominic's provocation.

"Whoa, look at this guy," Dominic said casually, his tone full of mockery and disdain, "He's practically like a kid who had his toy stolen, or one of those hotheads ready to rip your clothes off at any moment. Come on, buddy, sometimes you gotta learn to control your temper. Otherwise, I can't really play with you properly."

The Abomination roared, swinging a massive fist at Dominic, carrying savage power and endless fury. But Dominic didn't even move, just smiled slightly, tilted his body slightly, and easily dodged the Abomination's attack. The fist slammed into the ground, kicking up dust and debris, but Dominic still stood lazily to the side, as if completely unconcerned.

"Oh dear, you almost hit me," Dominic exaggeratedly patted his suit jacket, as if dealing with some unbearable speck of dust, "But with that punching speed of yours, even a grandma could see it coming, right? Is this what you call 'destructive power'?" He deliberately drew out his words, his voice full of ridicule and contempt.

The Abomination completely lost control; he no longer just swung his fists but charged madly at Dominic, attempting to tear this contemptuous fellow to shreds with brute force. Each of his steps came with a rumbling roar; the surrounding buildings collapsed and cracked under his impact, as if the entire city was about to turn to ash in his rage.

Dominic still maintained a relaxed demeanor, not even bothering to move much. He stood leisurely in place, and only when the Abomination's attack was about to close in did he unhurriedly leap lightly to the side, avoiding the Abomination's charge. The Abomination's body slammed into the ground, letting out a deafening roar, and the earth beneath his rage cracked open with several large fissures.

Dominic clapped his hands and lazily shook his head: "Good heavens, is that all you've got? You really disappoint me. I thought you'd be a bit more interesting, but what happened? You're just a big, bad-tempered brute with absolutely no skill to speak of." As he spoke, he deliberately flew in front of the Abomination, looking down at him condescendingly, "You know, buddy, sometimes brute force alone can't solve problems. You gotta use your brain, that is, if you still have one."

"Ah! You're so annoying!!!"

The Abomination was furious, letting out an earth-shattering roar, and once again raised his massive arm, swinging it violently at Dominic. Just as his fist was about to connect, Dominic suddenly let out a strange laugh and instantly flashed behind the Abomination.

"Whoa, looks like you really enjoy hitting walls." Dominic stood behind the Abomination and said playfully, "But you gotta aim for me, not those poor bricks. I'm not that easy for you to hit."

The Abomination completely descended into madness; he recklessly began unleashing wave after wave of savage attacks, fists raining down on Dominic, the ground becoming pitted and uneven, debris flying everywhere. Each attack carried destructive power and endless fury.

But Dominic seemed to be playing a game with him, easily dodging every time the Abomination's attack was about to hit. His movements were elegant and unhurried, as if he didn't take the Abomination seriously at all. A mocking smile always hung on his lips, his eyes full of playfulness and disdain.

"Hey, Abomination, you gotta understand, this isn't a wrestling match," Dominic teased as he dodged, "Your fists being big is useless; what matters is hitting the target. You know, precision is key, otherwise, you're just venting in vain."

He suddenly stopped, deliberately standing still, pretending to be fearless, hands in his pockets, watching the Abomination with a relaxed expression: "Come on, give me a surprise, don't disappoint me."

The Abomination roared again, suddenly raised his fist, and slammed it viciously at Dominic. But just as the fist was about to fall, Dominic suddenly raised a finger, flicking it slightly, and the Abomination's fist was actually lightly blocked by him.

"Whoa, what a surprise." Dominic chuckled lightly, his eyes full of sarcasm, "Looks like you really need to learn how to fight properly." He suddenly pushed hard, and the Abomination's massive body was actually pushed several meters away by his palm, slamming heavily into the distant ruins.

"You know, sometimes you gotta use your brain more, instead of just brute force." Dominic shook his head, continuing to mock, "Looks like you still need some time to grasp this point. Don't worry, I've got plenty of time to play with you."

The Abomination struggled to his feet from the ruins, his eyes filled with madness and rage, but even more so, helplessness. The man before him simply could not be defeated, nor could he be hit.

And Dominic still stood in place, his face full of confidence and disdain: "Come on, keep going, your show has just begun."

The Abomination angrily struggled to his feet from the ruins, his eyes bloodshot, his entire body's muscles tensed with fury. He panted heavily, gritting his teeth as he looked at Dominic, having completely lost his mind. He clenched his fists, finally lowering them unwillingly, as if admitting that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't touch the man before him.

"You know what?! I'm not fighting! I'm not fighting!" The Abomination finally yelled out exasperatedly, his voice full of frustration and rage, "You damned lunatic! I'm not playing anymore! Are you fighting or just messing with me?! And you dare to play tricks here! Go to hell!"

He pointed at Dominic and cursed incessantly, as if using only words to vent his fury: "You're not fighting at all! You're just a damned actor! And a terrible one at that! You're just like those idiots in movies, spouting nonsense! I don't have time to banter with a scumbag like you!"

Dominic watched the Abomination's furious outburst, shrugged, a contemptuous smile on his face. He lightly clapped his hands, as if he had just finished watching a farce, making no attempt to hide his disdain for the Abomination.

"Oh, buddy, calm down," Dominic said lazily, completely unconcerned by the Abomination's rage, his tone clearly teasing, "You look like a kid who had his candy stolen, it's really pitiful." He paused, pretending to ponder, "But then again, this little scene of ours is quite like some strange adult film, 'Conquest', 'Roar', 'Fierce Attack'... this script is quite explosive, isn't it?"

The Abomination's face was red with fury, but he was powerless to retort. He knew that no amount of roaring would change anything.

"To be honest, I thought you could last a bit longer, and you just collapsed like this?" Dominic chuckled and yawned, his eyes full of playfulness and confidence, "Looks like I'll have to find some other fun. But don't be too sad, after all, not everyone can go against a 'super stud' like me."

He deliberately emphasized the words "super stud", a hint of provocation flashing in his eyes, clearly intended to toy with the other party.

Dominic suddenly made an exaggerated expression, deliberately glancing towards the audience, the so-called "fourth wall", and said with a wicked smile: "Look, doesn't this big guy look a bit like those guys fighting in a bar who haven't had enough to drink yet? They start yelling 'I'm not playing anymore, I'm not playing anymore' halfway through the fight, it's really adorable, maybe he'll be hugging my leg and crying the next second."

He blew a mocking kiss at the Abomination, then added: "But then again, if this battle is some kind of 'special service', I'd have to tip the director. After all, this kind of interaction is quite exciting."

The Abomination was completely enraged by Dominic's sexually suggestive sarcasm, but he was already exhausted, utterly unable to continue fighting, only able to stand in place and glare at the other party.

Dominic, on the other hand, lightly shrugged, turned around indifferently, and gave the audience a meaningful smile: "Ladies and gentlemen, that concludes today's performance. Next time I'll have to find a more interesting opponent, after all, this kind of 'bullying newbies' is just too boring."

As he spoke, he waved his hand, as if bidding farewell to the whole World, and continued to walk towards the distance with his cynical demeanor, leaving the Abomination standing in place, filled with helplessness and rage.
