Chapter 9 - Chapter 8: The best daughter of the the best mother in the world

By the time Aria woke up, it was already late in afternoon. Opening her eyes, Aria gazed at her mother, who was talking on the phone.

"Yes I would like to come and visit the house, overseeing everything and making sure everything is fine or not, before renting the place...Yes that would great. See you in the evning, Yes, goodbye." Sophia ended her conversation with the real estate agent, noticing that Aria had woken up.

Walking towards the bed, Sophia pull her daughter into her embrace, pecking her forehead like love.

"Awake now, princess?"

Aria put her chin on her chest, gazing up with half closed eyes; pouty lips, puffed cheeks as she nods endearingly.

Sophia chuckled at her expressions and picked her her, making her way to the bathroom.

"Brush your teeth and take a bath. Till the, I will order a brunch for us." Sophia told Aria; making sure she won't walk into the walls in sleep, before leaving the bathroom.

By the time Aria got ready in a attrative and pretty green jumpsuit, the brunch also arrived.

Both of them sat down to eat.

Sophia opened her mouth to say something but didn't know how to start. Aria obviously noticed her mother's attempts to speak but didn't interupt, letting her arrange her thoughts properly. Finally after a few minutes, Sophia couldn't stop herself from asking.

"What about the stocks you bought yesterday princess? Aren't you going to check on them."

Sophia was literally fretting over the matter since last night. No matter how much she tried to remain calm; telling herself that it didn't matter even if Aria lose that money but for her, that 30,000$ was like a warm blanket in cold night, a sense of security in this new and unknown city, which she gave away for a smile of her daughter.

She didn't regret giving the money but still couldn't remove that little distress and unease of losing the money forever.

Aria also realised Sophia's feeling and respected them as well. Afterall, other than her mother, who would give a five years old so much money withaout a second thought, just for her daughter's happiness.

"Mom, I remember that. Infact, after eating, I was going to check on them and evn sell them when the price reach the highest. Trust me on this." Aria tried her best to assure her mother.

Sophia just nodded; though Aria was not much sure whether she was agreeing or still worrying about it but didn't continue to speak. Ultimately, The result will come out in her favour in the end.

As soon as they finished there brunch, Sophia rushed Aria.

Well-aware of her mother's emotion, Aria turned on the laptop and logged into "Stratifi Stocks".

Sophia also sat beside her, gazing nervously at the the interface.

Aria also gazed at the current value of the stock.

[Fresh Dew:

Previous Value: 1.3$

Current Value: 17.4$]

"It really went up." Sophia squealed in astonishment; not believing what she saw.

Sophia had really thought that she had lost the money the moment she gave it way. She never expected that something she thought was next to impossible; her daughter really accomplished it.

Sophia excitedly picked Aria in her arms, whirling her in her arms; dancing with great enthusiasm and exhilaration. There is no end to her joy.

Affected by her mother's emotion; Aria also began to yell delightfully in joy.

"Mom, look it went u Didn't I tell you I will make you a rich lady. See, I fulfilled my promise."

"Yes do did. My genius princess. The best daughter in the world." Sophia proudly announced.

"No. The best daughter of the the best mother in the world." Aria announced boastfully as the mother-daughter pair bursted out into laughters.

Sophia forcefully calmed herself down; the bright smile not leaving her face as she sat back down while settling Aria beside her ince again.

"Princess, you should sell it now. What if the value go down again. It is good to take risk but not good to be greedy." Sophia patiently told Aria, not wanting her daughter to go astray due to geed.

Aria, of course also understood this point.

"I know mom. Just five minutes more, till the value reach 20$, then I will sell it all out." Aria told Sophia.

Sophia initially wanted to warn Aria but then gave up; not wanting to demotivate her daughter at such joyous moment. In the worst case scenario, the value might drop a few points in the next five minutes' no matter what, they will still earn a huge profit.

Aria also had her own reasons for not selling at the momment. In her previous life, the value of Fresh Dew went upto 20.8$ per stock and she wanted to maximize her profit share at the moment. That is why she will wait till the value reach 20$ before selling, not taking any high risk.

Five minutes soon passed by, and just as Aria hade predicted, the value really reached 20$.

Fingers raced on the keyboard as Aria sold all the stocks she owned; the stocks kept declining as the money in account kept on rising. Soon Aria sold all the Fresh Dew stock she owned and transfered the amount she earned back to Sophia's bank account.

DING! came the notification from the bank on Sophia's phone.

Sophia watched this all from the side; completely flabbergasted.

Ariagazed at her mother' frozen in shock and took the phone from her hands; unfolding the message from the bank.

Sophia also came out of her daze; crouched beside Aria, her gaze at the message on the phone.

All of a sudden, the mother-daughter pair shrieked out loudly in elation and jubilation; clutching each other tightly in contentment.

And how could they not,

300,000$....

She had earned 300,000$ from the stocks. Her initial investment was of 30,000$; which had increased by 10 times.

They had made a huge profit this time.

"Look mom. Didn't I tell you; I was right. We are rich now." Aria delightfully told her mother, very happy with her first initiative to success.

Sophia also nodded in agreement.

"My daughter really is a genius. Which other 5 years old kid can exchange stocks with such precisely with such expertation." Sophia exclaimed; happy and of her daughter.

"Mom don't forget your promise in all this excitment. You will open a new account just for me to trade and exchange stocks and also give me my initial fundings." Aria reminded her mother; these stocks were her initial capital before she aimed to her actual goal, her true desire.

"I remember my promise princess. We will go to the bank right now to open a account just for you and later will go for house hunting. Ok?" Sophia patiently replied; afterall, a promise is a promise. Especially when made to her daughter, She wasn't willing to break it no matter what. May be, this all was a one time luck or not, but for her daughter, Sophia was willing to cross all borders, even if it meant to go against her own heart and thoughts.

"Yay! Thank you so much mom. So, How much is my fundings this time?" Aria asked excitedly, believing that her mother will give her alot of money this time. Afterall, she earned such a huge amount just now. She deserved high rewards.

"Of course it will be the same as last time. 30,000$" Sophia replied, bursting her bubbles with reality."What! Why? That is too little. PLease, Increase it mom. I earned so much right now, I should atleast get 100,000$." Aria stated her demand, clearly vexing her situation.

"NO ways. That is too high. Princess, we also have to buy a house, home appliances and alot of such things. Lets not forget our daily necessities, we have to buy them all as well, we need money for all of that. I don't have any job at the moment. This money will be our backing at that time. I don't want to prohibit you at all but the situation is not in our favor at the moment. The least I can give is 50,000$. not more than that." Sophia patiently tried to make Aria understand her point of view, not wanting to turn out as a strict or restraining parent, and especially not hurting her precious daughter's feelings.

Aria also realised that she had gotten caried away with the entire scenario. Not wanting to add onto her mother's difficulties, Aria nodded in acceptance.

"That is like good princess." Sophia said, pecking her little one's forehead.

Embracing Aria in her lap, Sophia made everything clear beforehand.

"Before I give you this money, I have three conditions. The first condition is that this is a one time capital. If you lose it, you lose it forever. I won't give you money to invest after that. The second condition is that, every 15 days, you will give me a report on the purchases and sell you dis during that time. And my final condition is that you won't use the card outside investment without my permission. Are we clear?" Sophia asked; prenting her thoughts and ideas clearly.

Aria, understanding and finding all the conditions reasonable, agreed as well.

"Yes mom. I understand and agree with all your conditions."

"Perfect. Then go get ready. We will leave for bank soon." Sophia told, gently letting Aria go.
