Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Endgame, Thanos And The Future Allens

In the cold void of deep space, darkness stretched endlessly. Amidst that eternal silence, a massive warship floated—a leviathan of steel, terrifying and awe-inspiring, like a predator spreading its wings. It was Thanos' flagship, Sanctuary II.

The Sanctuary was one of the most fearsome battleships in the universe, larger than New York City itself, housing the dreaded Black Order—a legion that spread terror across countless worlds.

Meanwhile, above the Avengers Compound in upstate New York, a wormhole tore open the skies. Even the partial emergence of the Sanctuary II was enough to blot out the sun, casting the entire city into oppressive darkness. Fear rippled through the streets.

"F***! What the hell is that!?"

At Avengers HQ, Captain Steve Rogers and the others stared upward in shock. Moments ago they were filled with hope—but now their expressions hardened into grim resolve.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

The ship's weapon bays opened beneath its massive wings. A barrage of missiles streaked downward, flames trailing in their wake.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The explosions rocked the compound. Despite being built with Stark's strongest alloys, the headquarters crumbled like paper. Towers collapsed into rubble, and a vast crater split the earth.

Then—

"Shua."

A blinding column of teleportation energy struck the ground.

From the light stepped a towering figure: nearly three meters tall, armored in gold, skin the color of stone, a face marked by its ridged chin. In his hand he carried the twin-bladed Sword of Thanos.

"Is this… the future?"

Thanos planted the sword into the earth with ease. Removing his helmet, his cold, merciless gaze swept the battlefield. His voice carried no emotion, only inevitability.

"My father… your daughter Nebula has fulfilled her mission."

From the ruins stepped Nebula, the cybernetic daughter who had infiltrated the Avengers' time heist.

"Well done," Thanos replied flatly. "You've brought the Infinity Stones right to me."

He lowered himself onto a shattered piece of rubble as if it were a throne, eyes gleaming with amusement and hunger.

Moments later, six more figures materialized behind him.

The Black Order—his most loyal generals.

But among them was a sixth figure that Allens, watching invisibly in soul form, had never expected. His eyes widened.

"Who… is that?"

"Allens," Thanos said, his deep voice carrying a strange finality. "You were right. As long as people cling to the past, they can never accept the future."

For a brief moment, there was something almost sorrowful in his tone—then it vanished. His expression hardened again, full of fury and determination.

"My plan has succeeded. And though some still resist their destiny… it doesn't matter."

Behind him stood a future version of Allens himself—wearing dark blue armor, standing tall among Thanos' forces.

"Don't underestimate them, Thanos," future Allens warned. "These Avengers won't fall so easily."

"That's why I never trusted meddling with time in the first place," came a familiar voice.

Hovering in mid-air, Tony Stark leveled his armored gaze at Thanos. The gold-and-red Mark 85 armor gleamed in the dim light, his voice sharp with defiance.

Suddenly, thunder rolled. Lightning split the sky.

Thor, heavier and weathered but still a god, lifted Stormbreaker high. Crackling lightning danced in his eyes as he bellowed:

"Thanos… this time, I'll have my revenge!"

With thunder exploding behind him, Thor hurled himself forward, Stormbreaker descending in a devastating arc.

But—

"Power absorption."

The armored Allens raised a hand. The storm itself bent to his will. Lightning tore away from Thor's axe, streaming into Allens' body like water into a sponge.

"It's Franklin Richards' mutant gift… energy absorption," Allens muttered in soul form, recognizing the terrifying ability his future self wielded. "To think he can drain even Stormbreaker's power…"

"Psychokinesis."

Future Allens extended his other hand. Invisible force seized Stormbreaker mid-swing, halting the mighty weapon inches from Thanos' face.

"Death Star, Allens!" Thor roared, eyes blazing. "For my brother Loki, I will kill you!"

"Death Star, huh?" future Allens smirked coldly. "The name suits me. Pity you don't realize—I'm more than that. I'm destined to stand as Thanos' brother-in-arms."

Thor's teeth clenched with fury.

"Boom!"

Twin missiles streaked toward Allens. Iron Man, controlling the Mark 85, had launched them from his shoulder pods.

"Boom! Boom!"

The explosions engulfed Allens in fire. Smoke and flame consumed the battlefield—until a horrific sight emerged.

Allens' body was shredded, blasted apart—yet his severed head was still alive, smirking.

"Not bad, Tony. The Mark 85… beautiful design."

Before their eyes, his muscles and nerves writhed, knitting themselves back together. Within seconds, his body had completely regenerated.

"Claire Bennet's gift," whispered Allens' observing soul-self in awe. "The ultimate Regenerative Healing Factor."

Future Allens stood once more, whole and smiling, his power more terrifying than ever.
