Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 Death Star Allens

"Roar!"

Deep beneath the ruins of the Avengers Compound came a thunderous cry, filled with rage. A massive green figure burst from the rubble—the Hulk had returned.

"Da-da!"

Clutched in Hulk's giant hands were Hawkeye and Rocket Raccoon. He set them down, and Rocket immediately pulled out his oversized plasma cannon, the weapon nearly twice his size.

"This time," Rocket snarled, "we're not losing again."

Hawkeye nocked a glowing high-tech arrow, its tip pulsing with crimson energy. He took aim straight at Thanos.

"Avengers—assemble!"

Captain Steve Rogers raised his vibranium shield and charged forward, eyes locked firmly on the Mad Titan.

"Click."

Thanos' expression hardened. His hand reached for the Sword of Thanos, but before he could rise, a figure stepped in front of him.

"Thanos," the man said coldly, "wait here for the Stones. Leave the rest to me."

It was Death Star Allens. His gaze swept over the Avengers as he raised his hand.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—"

Steel beams, shattered concrete, twisted alloys, and rubble all rose from the ground under his psychokinetic control. With a flick of his wrist, they launched toward the Avengers like a storm.

"Energy shield!"

Iron Man activated his gauntlet, projecting a glowing blue barrier that deflected the barrage.

"Storm of Thor!"

Thor swung Stormbreaker, summoning a torrent of thunder and lightning that shredded the debris, clearing the battlefield with divine fury.

"Peng! Peng! Peng!"

Meanwhile, Rogers crouched behind his shield. Each impact slammed into the vibranium with deafening clangs, yet he remained unscathed, though visibly strained.

"Hulk—attack!"

Fueled by fury, Hulk charged straight at Allens. The debris slammed into his body harmlessly. With a ground-shaking leap, he drew back a massive fist and hurled it toward his foe.

"Good!" Allens' eyes gleamed with battlelust. "Super strength… show me what you've got!"

He met Hulk's punch with his own.

"Boom!"

The collision unleashed a shockwave, toppling everything nearby. The earth cracked beneath them. Hulk was hurled backward, skidding through the dirt.

"Hahaha! That felt great! Come again!"

Allens advanced, his left hand raised. His palm locked onto Ant-Man, who was trying to flank him.

"Freeze."

A surge of icy power engulfed Ant-Man instantly, freezing him solid mid-leap.

At the same time, Allens pressed two fingers to his temple. His eyes glowed with streaming data.

"Veronica—deploy the Mark 85 armor. Target: Death Star Allens."

Iron Man's satellite AI hesitated—but under Allens' technopathic command, the launch sequence activated. A second Mark 85 suit streaked down from orbit, summoned by Allens himself.

"Damn it! What kind of ability is this?!" Tony cursed, face darkening.

Thor's voice thundered, filled with grief and fury.

"Death Star Allens! I remember you well. You're the one who slaughtered my brother Loki… the second-in-command of Thanos' Black Order. Even the Children of Thanos bow to you as 'sir.'"

Thor's grip on Stormbreaker trembled with rage.

Allens had fought for Thanos across countless worlds. Wherever he went, death followed. He consumed everything—life, planets, civilizations. His title, Death Star, was born of annihilation.

"Energy cannon!"

Tony darted in, the thrusters of his Mark 85 roaring past the sound barrier. His armor panels spread in a ring behind him, channeling crimson energy into his palms before unleashing it in a blazing beam.

"Thunder release!"

Allens raised his right hand. A column of lightning surged forth, colliding with Tony's blast in a blinding clash of red and blue energy.

"Death Star Allens, you bastard—go to hell!"

Rocket's roar echoed across the battlefield. He unleashed a storm of plasma fire, a hail of burning energy bolts tearing through the air.

"Chi-chi-chi!"

But Allens' form flickered like a shadow. The blasts phased harmlessly through him, detonating into the ground and carving craters across the battlefield.

Watching from the sidelines in his soul-form, the present-day Allens frowned.

"It seems… my future self really is terrifying."

He glanced at his older counterpart's wrist, where a simple, broken watch still clung.

"But even then… he's still only Thanos' 'brother.' That watch is still broken, even in the future…"

His face darkened.

"The ending… is doomed to fail."
