A sigh escaped her lips. "I wonder which season it is," she mused to herself, her gaze sweeping over the towering, green canopy. "Vale is still here, so maybe it's Season 1 or 2? Or perhaps even before that."

Just as the thought crossed her mind, a shimmering, translucent blue window flickered into existence before her.

[WARNING: TWO REINCARNATORS DETECTED. ELIMINATE THEM.]

[REWARDS: PATCHOULI KNOWLEDGE BOOK, MARISA'S MINI-HAKKERO.]

A faint smirk touched her lips. "Really? How surprising," she said, though her tone was laced with a dry sarcasm. The rewards were certainly tempting, though. Killing them would be no problem at all.

[LOCATING REINCARNATORS...]

[REINCARNATOR 1: LAST SEEN IN VALE.]

[REINCARNATOR 2: LAST SEEN IN VALE.]

"How convenient," she murmured, her eyes scanning the system's message.

A deep, rumbling voice broke her concentration. "Miss, we are ready to depart."

She turned, her posture instantly shifting to that of a poised, elegant figure.

"Alright," she said, her voice smooth and calm. "Let's go."

The journey to the city of Vale took two days. They walked through the dense forest, resting when dusk fell and rising with the sun. When they finally arrived, the imposing gates of the kingdom loomed before them.

"Here we are," Sakuya said, stopping just short of the main entrance. She turned to the small group of Faunus she had been escorting. "I guess this is where we part ways."

A male Faunus with wolf ears stepped forward, bowing his head respectfully. "Yes. Thank you so much for saving us and protecting us on this trip."

Sakuya gave a small, graceful nod. "It was no problem. I hope you all find a wonderful new life here."

"Oh, there's no need to bow, miss!" a young, female Faunus with deer antlers exclaimed. "But if you don't mind, we'd like to know the name of the person who saved us."

A small, genuine smile finally touched Sakuya's face. "It's Sakuya Izayoi," she replied, a faint blush on her cheeks. "I suppose I forgot to introduce myself." She gave a small, elegant curtsy, a gesture as refined as a perfect maid.

I guess this is goodbye."

The words hung in the air between them, heavy with a finality that Sakuya found a bit melodramatic. She simply nodded in response. "Yes, it is."

With a sigh, the faunus flashed their ID card at the two guards standing sentry at the massive gates of Vale and was granted entry. The heavy metal doors swung open and then shut, leaving Sakuya alone.

She watched the faunus disappear into the bustling city before pulling a silver pocket watch from her jacket. The intricate clockwork glowed faintly as she held it. A faint smile touched her lips.

"Gensō," she whispered, the word a soft hum of power. Then, a little louder, a command: "Za Warudo!"

The world froze.

Guards mid-stride became statues, dust motes hung motionless in the air, and the distant sounds of the city ceased to exist. Sakuya stepped forward, the only moving thing in a perfectly still world, and glided through the solid, unmoving guards.

Once she was safely past the gates, and out of sight of any onlookers, she slipped her watch back into her pocket and murmured, "Time shall flow again."

The city's noise rushed back in a sudden wave, the world resuming its frenetic pace. Sakuya joined the flow of people, a casual pedestrian walking down the road. She reached up and lightly touched the collar of her white dress, a faint glow still emanating from the pocket watch.

"Well, I suppose I have some time to get an ID card," she mused to herself. "It would be convenient to have one, after all."

Her eyes scanned the crowd, her gaze flitting over the faces of strangers. Then, they landed on a familiar figure huddled in a dark alleyway, deep in conversation with a couple of thugs.

"Roman Torchwick" she thought

"So I'm starting before Episode One, huh?" she thought, a spark of amusement lighting her eyes as she watched the notorious criminal. The scene unfolded like a play she had seen countless times, but this time, it was her reality.

"Good to know. Well, I guess I have time to get my ID."

She slipped away from the main thoroughfare and navigated the backstreets of the city until she found a government building. which was a nice little bonus. She stopped time again, creating a still, empty building for her to work in. It was a simple task to create a new identity for herself. She forged documents, fabricated a history, and even made a convincing-looking student ID card for Beacon Academy. No use letting her power go to waste.

When she was finished, she left the building, her new ID tucked safely in her pocket. She waited until she was a safe distance away and resumed time. The world moved on, and Sakuya was just another face in the crowd.

She glanced up at the sky. "Well, that's done. But it's still daytime." She sighed softly. "I guess I can waste time by testing out my powers."

The city lights faded behind her as Sakuya made her way into the woods, the silent world of trees and shadows a perfect contrast to Vale's bustling energy. She needed a place to truly let loose, a place where no one would see her. She came to a small clearing in the woods, far enough away that no one would stumble upon her.

"System, can you explain and show me my power?" she asked aloud, her voice a whisper in the quiet expanse.

The response was immediate, appearing in her mind's eye like a glowing scroll of information.

Sakuya took in the information, a slow smile spreading across her face. This was a lot to take in, but she had all the time in the world to practice. The phrase "second nature" resonated with her, a comforting thought that this wasn't just a cheat sheet but a fundamental part of who she was now.

"Let me try some of these out," she said. She held her hand out, palm up, and focused. She said the words as a command, a test.

"Propelling Silver."

In an instant, multiple knives shimmered into existence. They didn't fall to the ground but instead began to orbit her, a deadly halo of razor-sharp steel. The knives moved with a hypnotic grace, a silent testament to her power.

"Good. Very good."

A low growl ripped through the air, and Sakuya turned. She saw a pack of Beowolves emerging from the shadows. Their glowing red eyes fixed on her, the perfect unwitting targets for her training session.

She smirked.

"bad dog's get punished." as she pull out her knives
