Dr. Murphy nodded then held up her hands. "You're the boss."
Riley climbed the tree like a pro, efficiently slicing through the rope, and then held onto it, slowly lowering the body enough for Blue, Colt, and Dr. Murphy to grab hold and finish getting Franklin's corpse onto the tarp. As soon as the body was settled, Blue and Colt backed away.
"Okay. Let's see what's going on with tree dude." The doctor checked the pockets of his khaki pants. "Nothing in the front. And the back…" She rolled the body on its side and rummaged the back pockets. "We have a wallet. Set of keys. And..." She took out a plastic strip of condoms. She laid the items on the tarp and re-positioned the body. "Five condoms. Wow. He was ambitious."
"No cell phone?" asked Colt.
Dr. Murphy shook her head, and the deputy turned to Riley. "You find a cell phone in the deer blind?"
"Nope." Riley shook his head. "I checked his jacket's pockets, too."
