## **Chapter 1 – Born Under a Starless Night**

**Setting:** Prithvi Gaon, midwinter storm, harsh and remote village surrounded by mountains.

---

The storm raged with unrelenting fury. Snow whipped across the brittle rooftops, and the wind howled like a chorus of unseen spirits. The villagers of Prithvi Gaon huddled in their huts, their faces pale, hearts pounding, for tonight was unlike any other. Tonight, no stars graced the night sky. Not a single glimmer pierced the darkness above.

In the smallest hut at the village's edge, a laboring woman cried out, her voice nearly swallowed by the tempest. Suhani's face was pale but serene, her dark eyes glinting with both fear and anticipation. Her husband, Mahadev, stood by, a strong figure against the dim candlelight, his hands steady even as his jaw clenched. He had seen countless births, but none like this. Something in the air was… off.

Outside, the villagers whispered in frightened tones.

"A curse," one muttered. "The starless night… it's an omen. The child will bring ruin to Prithvi Gaon."

"Or… a blessing," another countered, his voice uncertain. "The old elders say the Serpent Spirit sometimes visits under strange skies."

Inside, Suhani's body shivered with the pangs of childbirth, yet her mind remained strangely calm. Her consciousness seemed to stretch beyond the room, beyond the storm, sensing currents of energy that she could not name. It was as though the world itself had paused, holding its breath for what was about to come.

Mahadev's hands were firm as he supported her. "Suhani," he said, voice low but commanding, "breathe. The child… it will come."

A sudden surge of energy rattled through the hut. Candles flickered violently. Shadows twisted unnaturally along the walls, forming patterns that defied reason. The midwife froze, her eyes wide, sensing something ancient coiling within the woman's womb.

"It… it's not human," she whispered, awe and fear intertwined. "I have never… felt a presence like this."

Suhani, sweat dripping from her brow, felt a warmth radiate from deep within. It was subtle at first—a pulse, a heartbeat that was not her own, resonating with something eternal. Her child was not merely being born; the child's soul was awakening, and in doing so, it brushed against the very essence of the cosmos.

With a final, piercing cry, the infant emerged. Mahadev caught him instinctively, but as he looked down, he froze. The child's skin shimmered faintly, as though faint starlight—long absent from the sky—rested upon him. His tiny fists clenched, his eyes—dark and absorbing—seemed to look not at the room, not at the storm, but through everything, into everything.

The midwife stepped back, a pale hue washing her face. "I… I cannot describe what I feel. There is… energy. Countless layers of it, all entwined. The Serpent Spirit… it stirs."

Mahadev's expression hardened. "Then this child… this is no ordinary boy. He will be the beginning of something… immense."

Suhani, exhausted but composed, cradled her son. "He is our son," she whispered, and in her heart, she swore to protect him, no matter the cost.

Outside, the storm raged on. The villagers stared at the night sky, unknowing of the profound moment that had passed beneath their feet. A child had been born under a starless night, untouched by the heavens' light, yet connected to a force that no one in the village would ever comprehend.

The child's first breath carried the faintest whisper of the cosmos. It was a seed of the **Seven Chakras**, coiled like a serpent within him. One day, he would awaken each chakra, merge them with the elements, and surpass even the greatest cultivators of the world.

But for now… he slept, fragile and human in form, yet limitless in potential.

Mahadev and Suhani looked down at their son, and for the first time, they both knew: the world would never be the same again.
