Catwoman's lips twitched, and she cursed inwardly, "Useless! Couldn't even beat a Taoist!"
She pretended to wobble over, stomping hard on the few men. "Hmph, you thugs want to take advantage of me!"
The sharp heels of her high heels stomped on them, and the several gold chain-wearing men wailed in pain.
The bald guys were in tears. Although they usually bullied men and women, they hadn't even done anything today before they were beaten senseless by this violent couple.
Catwoman bent down and, without a sound, picked up a handful of keys.
Lin Chen kicked the men a few more times, then bent down and hoisted Catwoman onto his shoulder. "Wife, let's go home."
He sprinted away. When the bald men came to their senses and tried to pull out their guns, they could only see the backs of the two riding away on a motorcycle.
Lin Chen, while driving the motorcycle, laughed. "Honey, hold on tight, don't fall off."
Catwoman gritted her teeth, "Bastard, you took advantage of me, did you do it on purpose?"
"How could that be? I was acting heroically, saving the beauty. You should reward me with yourself!"
Catwoman looked at the several love bites on Lin Chen's side profile, suddenly her heart flared with anger, and she bit down hard on Lin Chen's shoulder.
"Damn, you really are a wild cat," Lin Chen stopped the car on the side of the road, ready to give Catwoman a lecture.
Catwoman leaped up, did a backflip, and quickly disappeared into the woods.
Lin Chen shook his head and quietly followed from a distance.
Catwoman, acting furtively, returned to the previous bar, slipped into the back alley, and climbed up the water pipes with incredible agility.
The movements were exactly like a cat sneaking to steal dried fish.
Lin Chen didn't go inside, instead, he hid in the shadows, waiting.
Ten minutes later, Catwoman had an extra pouch attached to her waist. She climbed down the pipe, having stolen other keys beforehand and planning to double-cross.
As Catwoman landed, she snorted coldly, "Who's there! Come out!"
Lin Chen was taken aback. He thought he was hiding so well, but he was discovered. That Catwoman was indeed perceptive.
He was about to step out.
A metallic, heavy-sounding voice came from the other side, "Catwoman, Selina, are you going to surrender, or do I have to step in?"
Catwoman frowned, "Batman!"
Lin Chen understood. It was Gotham City's nemesis of crime, the number one person on the wanted list, Batman, with his cash-fueled abilities!
Batman emerged from the darkness, each step seemingly embodying the art of combat. Rumor had it he'd mastered hundreds of fighting styles, reaching the pinnacle of human physical combat.
Catwoman was cornered, her escape blocked. She had no choice but to fight with everything she had, or else she'd be locked up in Arkham Asylum again.
The days there were absolute hell. Her freedom was restricted, she had to deal with so many criminal lowlifes, and the food was terrible. Staying there too long gave her headaches.
"I'd rather die than go back there!" Catwoman roared.
Bang! Batman charged forward, throwing a sweeping punch at Catwoman!
Catwoman flipped backward to dodge it, and immediately kicked at Batman.
Batman raised his arm to block the kick, then shifted his hand to grab at Catwoman.
Bang, bang! With Batman's attacks becoming increasingly fierce, Catwoman was in pain and retreated step by step.
In terms of strength and skill, she was no match for Batman.
Batman said calmly, "Selina, hand over Black Mask's loot and come with me to Arkham Asylum."
Catwoman gasped for breath, then suddenly smiled, "We'll see about that."
She suddenly pointed behind him, "Look, a UFO!"
Batman scoffed, "I stopped falling for that trick years ago."
"Really?" A deep voice came from behind him. Batman was shocked; he hadn't expected anyone to actually be there.
He hadn't sensed them, which meant they were definitely a master, or at least someone who was very good at hiding.
He didn't have time to react before a Brick smashed into his head!
Bang!
The burly Batman fell to the ground, unconscious.
Lin Chen tossed aside the brick. "A brick, one of the top ten hidden weapons, who can dodge that?"
Catwoman looked at Lin Chen with a complex expression. "Why did you save me? I could have handled him in a matter of seconds."
"Is now really the time for boasting?" Lin Chen shook his head.
"Then when is?"
"When we scavenge for equipment, of course!" Lin Chen rummaged through Batman's body, pulling out a Batarang.
"He only brought one? How stingy."
Next was the Grappling Hook Gun, "It can be used for climbing and hanging, a truly stylish gadget."
Lin Chen unbuckled Batman's belt, which contained Flashbangs, a Welding Torch, Smoke Grenades, and more. "This is exactly what you need for travel and home use."
Catwoman's eyelids twitched. "You're stripping him bare! I suddenly feel sorry for Batman."
Lin Chen bent down again and pulled off Batman's Cape. "I'm short a rag at home." Actually, he was envious of Batman's ability to glide from high altitudes.
Catwoman sighed. "So, men can be the most ruthless to other men. How scary! At least leave him some pants."
Lin Chen was speechless. "Am I that unscrupulous? That armor is too cumbersome and doesn't suit my elegant temperament."
Lin Chen packed everything up with the Cape. "Alright, we can leave now."
