Darion and Ethan grabbed the President together. They picked him up and carried him as we left the penthouse. We walked out the front door, the same way Tampa and I came in together.
"You know damn well your ass is in pain." Tadacia said to Tampa as we got to the cars.
"Well I was fucking shot in the chest." Tampa said rolling her eyes.
"Good thing these vest are meant to guard against bullets, right?" Jamila added.
"I kinda wish her vest didn't protect the damn bullet." Tadacia said with a few laughs.
"Oh don't be so harsh Tadacia," Jamila said. "But I do wish it gave you just a little scratch."
Tampa gave them both the finger and continued walking. These girls are all bitches, yet I'm one of them. So I really have no room to talk about them. Darion drove one car, Tampa drove the other. The President was in the backseat of Darion's car. We actually got away with kidnapping the President.
"You were right." Morgan's voice came in my earpiece. "A truckload of them just arrived at the penthouse."
"Clever babe, how'd you figure it out?" Darion added.
I was still pissed at him. I was so pissed, I didn't even get in the car with him. I sat in the backseat with Jamila as Tampa drove. Tadacia sat in the passenger seat.
"Why didn't you answer your man?" Tadacia said looking back at me.
"Fuck him." I replied.
"Damn, what his ass do?"
"Long story." I sighed. "I really don't feel like explaining."
"Alright boo."
The ride felt long, so I took a nap on Jamila's shoulder. Jamila was close enough for me to call her sister. She was strong, loyal, and consistent. If I needed, I could go to her and cry on her shoulder. That's just the relationship we had for each other. Her and Jaylie were the only two females of GTAU I could say that about.
"Wake up Rosey boo." Jamila said softly. She used a soft voice to soothe me.
We finally arrived at the headquarters. Jaylie and Draper awaited for us in the entrance. Draper assisted Ethan with grabbing the President. They carried him in before anyone else walked into the building.
"Don't mind us, this may take awhile." Draper said as they walked in.
"Do anything you need, a few major injuries will make him talk!" Darion called out to them.
"Stop! Wait!" The President begged. "I'll speak!"
Confusion filled me, he's willing to speak now. That's weird, why is he willing so soon? If he was going to tell us, why the hell didn't he tell us before we kidnapped him. Everything seemed wrong about that, it's far too suspicious.
"Well get to talking." Darion said.
"Baby, he's up to something." I said to Darion as I walked to the President. I pulled my gun from my waist and pressed it against the Presidents forehead. "Look President, I will murder you right here and right now. Your stalling, I hate when people stall and play with my emotions."
"Ms. Castro." He mumbled out. "Killing me would put a lot of weight on your shoulders."
"Mr. President, I killed my own father when I was seven years old." I whispered in his ear. "Your life is nothing to me, I'd rather have you dead."
"Rose!" Darion called my name. "I don't want him dead."
"Fuck what you want Darion!" I yelled in reply. "I want my friend!"
"You need to calm down!" He grabbed my shoulder.
I smacked his arm away. "Don't fucking touch me!"
I pushed Darion, but he's so big and strong that he barely even moved. It seemed as if he was about to push me back. I prepared myself for any action he was about to make, but instead Jaylie stepped between us. She grabbed my arm and pulled me away.
"Your walking with me." Jaylie said as she brought me with her.
"No Jaylie, the President is fucking with you idiots! He knows exactly what he's doing!" I tried getting out of her grip on my arm.
"I can calm you down, just shut up and come with me."
"I need to tell Darion that he's up to something."
"Yeah, he gets it. You did just yell it Rose. Do me a favor, just shut up."
She pressed her lips against mine. I wasn't prepared for her kiss, but her lips tasted too good for me to push her away. Plus it's Jaylie, I really don't care for her kissing me. It's not like I've never thought of how it would feel.
Jamila pushed her. "How you gone kiss my main bitch?"
"Yo main bitch?" Jaylie rolled her eyes and threw her hair back. "Look at me, Rose loves me more. Come on baby girl, let's go."
Jaylie grabbed my hand and continued walking. We were walking to her car I guess, Jamila was following behind us now. She was mumbling something under her breathe, then spoke louder for us to hear the word bitch. I laughed softly, Jaylie pushed me away and let go of my hand.
"Fuck off go be with your girl friend." Jaylie said as she unlocked her car door.
"Just up, where are we going?"
"I was going to get something to drink."
"Your not old enough to drink!"
"But I am." Tadacia said as she ran to the car and hopped in the backseat. "We just need to have fun for once instead of killing and working all the damn time."
Tadacia was right, we needed to learn how to relax for once. We were far too stressed out with everything coming straight for our heads one punch at a time. We need to learn how to have fun and laugh off the weight on our shoulders instead of yelling and panicking in anger.
Later that night, just us four girls did exactly that. We got drunk from anything given to us and talked about the most random things. Jordan was occasionally still on my mind, but I didn't think about it too much. My mission was to be happy for the girls I was with.
This gave me more of an opportunity to learn who Tadacia was as well. She's my age, her favorite color is black, and her parents were both in the military. They both were in war actually, that's why they're both crazy. They have disorders from being in war and seeing people die. Watching people's body parts explode into a million pieces can traumatized you, forever.
She went to school in Washington D.C. She went to ROTC, which is basically a place where they prepare you for the armed forces. She's always been ready to take on the same role as her parents. Her brother was the same, his name is Tadashon. He's in the United States Army, a brilliant contribution from what she explained him as. But I view him as enemy, anybody in the United States Military is enemy at this moment. They've all been ordered to find and kill any GTAU members that surface themselves on ground.
But after thinking about it for a few minutes, it saddened me. That meant Tadacia was at war with her only brother. It's awful, like the civil wars. It turned brother against brother. Broke apart families, destroyed companionships. This entire situation we were in, it's absolutely terrible.
"Tadacia, don't worry." Jamila said, showing her sweet side. She noticed the said expressions Tadacia was making. "We're going to be happy one day, just watch."
My phone rang, I pulled it from my back pocket. I looked at the caller, Darion Waters. I prepared myself for conversation by clearing my throat and answered the phone.
"Hello?" I said softly.
"He talked." Darion replied.
"Good, what did he say."
"We negotiated peace talks and freed him."
"When did you free him?"
"Not too long ago, about thirty minutes."
I looked at the time on my cellular, we've been in this club for hours. Darion released the President a half hour ago and just now called me. I found that extremely doltish, why wouldn't he inform me before letting the President go. It was probably because of that attitude I gave him earlier and how I bossed him around like he was my bitch.
"Next time let me know before you release him."
"Next time, I'll let you be the one who releases him."
That stopped my emotions and instantly sent my brain flying into a billion different thoughts. What exactly did that mean? Was it sarcasm, or did it have meaning to it.
Everything suddenly hit me at once, Darion wouldn't had called me if he didn't have anything important to say. He's selfish, I know he was pissed with me. I ordered him to carry the President with Ethan as if he wasn't CEO of GTAU. Then I disrespected him by yelling at him, there's no way he forgave that easily without me even apologizing. Something was wrong with this phone call.
"I'm sorry baby." He said softly.
"Darion." My heart was racing. "What?"
"Find a television." He replied.
"Somebody cut on a television!" I yelled to the top of my lungs to attract everyone's attention.
Jamila was the first person basically dashing to a television as I asked for, or maybe commanded for. Most likely commanded for it, but only because the situation was urgent for me. She pressed the power button and turned it towards us, the news channel was already on.
The headline was 'Terrorist group, Ka Taliye debuts with publicity of execution on GTAU member.' There were three of them, wearing all black. Faces were covered, machetes were in hands, machine guns were as well. My heart stopped, tears filled my eyes like an ocean. I didn't yell, but pain filled me as if I was shot in the chest ten times.
Jordan's head was down, as he always told me not to do. He was stripped from his shirt, revealing scars and whip marks across his chest and back. His neck wore burn marks, slashes of knife marks were on his face. He was damaged, but obviously recognizable as Jordan. They didn't have him for long, but the time they did have him they obviously used abusively.
The man speaking to the camera had a deep accented, he wasn't from South Sudan. I didn't recognize exactly where he could be from, but it had to be Middle Eastern for sure. It definitely wasn't from Africa, especially in a country where English is the most dominant language. He talked as if he barely even knew English, that's why I didn't listen to a word that was said. I didn't listen to a word that was said until Jordan spoke.
"I love you guys." He mumbled, it was hard enough that he was Mr. Mumbles before. Now, he's been beaten and is ninety percent dead. It's even harder for him to speak and for us to comprehend. But there's no way I'll miscomprehended anything he's going to say for his final words. "I need you to stay strong. Rose, I'm sorry I broke your promise. But you know how this went down. Momma, I'm sorry I didn't listen to you and deny the contract Waters offered. Everything happens for a reason, I'm just to spark you guys fire."
"Kneel!" The Middle Eastern man commanded, Jordan ignored.
"Aliyah, your the strongest in the family." Jordan continued speaking to his audience on the television, he was now speaking to his younger sister Aliyah. "Push everybody through this. Lastly, Twin-"
"Kneel!" The man ordered, punching Jordan in the jaw.
"Twin, detonate." I believe those were his final words, before the two men grabbed him and threw him onto his knees. While the third man took the death blow with his machete.
