Synopsis
Yuni Starling is just an ordinary high school girl—clumsy, dramatic, and hopelessly straight… or so she insists. But her world flips upside down the day a mysterious “prince charming” moves into her family’s house as a new tenant. Handsome, aloof, and oddly perfect, Elis Bellerose seems like the dream guy Yuni has always imagined. Except… there’s more to Elis than Yuni realizes. Behind the polite smiles and guarded words, Elis hides secrets that could change everything Yuni thinks she knows about love. Add to that a best friend tangled in his own crush, an overdramatic manga-artist dad, a nosy but loving mom, and Yuni’s chaotic teenage life turns into a rollercoaster of blushes, awkward moments, and unexpected giggles. But when past relationships and hidden truths begin to surface, will Yuni’s heart still flutter the same way? Or will her dream prince be nothing like she imagined? A cute, funny, and slightly messy romcom with a twist of suspense—perfect for anyone who loves crushes, comedy, and the chaos of first love.

Chapter 1 - That Ridiculous Dream

A girl was running through a field, chasing after her prince charming. Her heart pounded, her voice echoing,

"Wait! Please stop! I'm Yuni Starling, and I love handsome men!"

Just as she shouted, she stumbled and fell flat on the ground.

"Ouch!" Yuni winced, brushing dirt off her knees.

The prince, tall and elegant, pulled on the reins. His horse circled back, stopping right in front of her. He dismounted gracefully, stepping closer with a gentle smile.

"Are you alright?" he asked, extending a hand toward her.

The moment Yuni raised her eyes to his face, her heart froze. Her eyes widened in shock.

"You… you're a girl! You're not a guy at all!"

The "prince" tilted her head, lips curving mischievously.

"So what if I'm a girl? Come here. Let me give you a kiss."

Yuni's face turned pale as the so-called prince leaned in, lips just a breath away from hers.

"Noooo!" Yuni screamed—

—and bolted upright in bed, clutching her chest.

Her forehead was damp with sweat. "Ugh! That dream again?" she groaned, burying her face in her pillow. "Why do I keep seeing stuff like this? I'm straight! Totally straight! And yet my dreams… seriously? A kiss from some random girl prince? What the heck is wrong with me?"

She let out a deep sigh.

"My name is Yuni Starling. High school student. Only child of my parents. My dad? A manga artist who spends more time drawing ridiculous comics than paying attention to his own house. My mom? She handles everything. She runs a beauty parlor downstairs and also rents out rooms. Basically, she's the real boss of the family."

Yuni flopped back on the bed dramatically. "And me? I just want a normal school life. Not weird dreams about lesbian kisses!"

Before she could drift back into self-pity, a loud voice thundered from outside her door.

"Yuni! Don't tell me you're skipping school today! Do you plan to be like your father, sitting inside all day sketching nonsense?"

Mrs. Starling swung the door open and glared.

Yuni groaned and pulled her blanket over her head. "Mom, I'm going! Don't scream so close to my ear. You'll ruin my delicate teenage brain."

Her mother's eyes narrowed.

Yuni peeked out dramatically, clutching her chest. "One day when I'm gone, you'll miss me… you'll cry for me…"

"Not this nonsense again," her mom muttered, lifting a slipper threateningly.

"Sorry, Mom!" Yuni yelped, scrambling to her feet. "But hey, you say this every single day—I've memorized it already!"

With that, Yuni rushed off to freshen up. After a hasty breakfast, she swung her bag over her shoulder and opened the door.

Standing outside, leaning casually against the gate, was her best friend—Loir.

He waved lazily. "Took you long enough. You planning to make us late again, drama queen?"

Yuni rolled her eyes, but a smile tugged at her lips. Another day of chaos was just beginning.
