Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 Level

It seemed that both of them were very surprised looking at the Philosopher's Stone in Dumbledore's hand.

After all, that 'true Philosopher's Stone' and the 'fake Philosopher's Stone' in his hand were almost identical in appearance, color, and the magical fluctuations they emitted.

"How terrifying!" Quirrell looked at Kaisen with shock.

"I need your help to design obstacles to protect this Philosopher's Stone, but we also need to leave openings for passage, because I don't want the whole school to be in a chaotic mess when I go to retrieve the Philosopher's Stone," Dumbledore said with a smile.

"No, no, no, no problem, but, I, I'm not ready yet, I haven't, haven't prepared anything," Quirrell stammered.

"It's alright, there's no rush for this for now; they can set it up first, from the inside out, of course."

The next moment, Dumbledore snapped his fingers, and a daunting flame abruptly enveloped all of them, and in the blink of an eye, they appeared in a room.

In the center of the room was a stone platform, and Dumbledore placed the Philosopher's Stone in the middle of the platform.

"Please begin, who wants to go first?" Dumbledore turned to look at everyone and asked.

Kaisen saw that the other Professors were not speaking, so he shrugged, "I'll go."

"Kaisen, just in case you didn't hear me clearly, I want to add that the checkpoint you design must have a backdoor for our own people to enter."

"Ah... alright."

Kaisen, who had indeed not listened carefully, abandoned the idea of burying TNT in Hogwarts and instead casually arranged a hidden piston door with obsidian, then led the redstone circuit to the adjacent wall.

He also set up a wall full of levers, with a hidden dispenser at the very top.

Only one lever corresponded to the piston door; all other levers were connected to the dispenser.

"Professor Snape, please be so kind as to put some harmless Potions inside."

Snape nodded, "I guarantee I will make the intruder sleep for an entire day."

The other checkpoints were set by the other Professors: Snape's logic quiz, Professor McGonagall's oversized Wizard chess, flying keys and a magic door, Devil's Snare, and finally, the huge Cerberus brought over by Hagrid.

Kaisen walked from the inside to the outside, confirming that, in the entire series of checkpoints, Hagrid's was the most serious, aiming to kill the intruder, while the other checkpoints were either as simple as a joke or had low penalties.

It was Hagrid.

No wonder he was so honest.

After completing all of this, Kaisen was about to return to his office to continue lying around, but Dumbledore secretly called him to his Headmaster's office.

"Kaisen, your... piston door, is that what it's called?"

"...Mm-hmm." Kaisen nodded.

"What's the correct way to enter it?" Dumbledore pulled out a large box of snacks from his drawer, all of them sweet.

That look, combined with his question, made him seem exactly like a Little Wizards holding a pile of snacks as a bribe, asking for the topic of the next class's pop quiz.

"Uh, actually, I don't know either; I just arranged the circuit randomly when I was setting it up."

Dumbledore looked at Kaisen with his sincere eyes.

"...Alright, that magic circuit is like the redstone I used to make your fake Philosopher's Stone; just touch the magic circuit with the fake Philosopher's Stone, and the door will open," Kaisen couldn't withstand Dumbledore's strangely unnerving gaze and finally answered.

"In that case, I'll need a piece of redstone made by you," Dumbledore said.

"Who else needs it? Definitely not you; I remember you can Apparate within Hogwarts."

"Harry Potter."

"Are you really going to let an eleven-year-old child play Dragon Quest? You're a bit too extreme," Kaisen sharply commented, starting from zero frames.

"Harry currently only has fame; he still needs real achievements, and this is the achievement I'm giving him, just like you share your Alchemy results with your students," Dumbledore explained.

"That's different, and what does Harry need achievements for, what does he need fame for? Those are all burdens for an eleven-year-old child; he can't handle them."

Dumbledore clasped his hands on his office desk and pondered for a moment: "This is a prophecy, a prophecy made by Trelawney, the Divination Class Professor at Hogwarts."

"Ha! Although this is a world of magic, I still have to say, it's surprising that a wise man like you believes in prophecies," Kaisen said sarcastically.

"I am not superstitious about prophecies, but I revere it. This concerns whether we can truly kill Tom and defeat Lord Voldemort in the end. I must calculate all possibilities and try every method to kill him."

"Lord Voldemort's vitality is too tenacious. Everyone in the magical world once thought he was dead, but he brazenly appeared on the back of Quirrell's head."

"I cannot afford a single mistake."

"Alright, even if it means believing in a vague prophecy?"

"Even if it's a prophecy." Dumbledore nodded.

"Alright." A thumb-sized redstone block appeared in Kaisen's hand and was placed on the office desk.

"Just find an opportunity to give it to Harry."

"No, I think it's better if you give it to him, and by the way... tell him how to use this thing, lest he holds this little thing and still be at a loss in front of your piston door," Dumbledore pushed the redstone back.

"Life is hard," Kaisen sighed, waving his hand to destroy the redstone block.

"Also, if Quirrell comes to ask you how to open that piston door, answer him in a clever, subtle way that you won't remember afterwards," Dumbledore added.

"Uh... I said before that if I drink, I'm a dog, so it looks like I'll have to break my vow," Kaisen said with a bitter face.

"Life is short, enjoy yourself while you can. There's nothing wrong with drinking; you just picked the wrong drinking buddy. Believe me, few people can drink with Hagrid and have a good time. The fact that you can drink him under the table means you have an exceptionally good alcohol tolerance," Dumbledore comforted him.

"...That's true, who can drink equally with a Giant? I'm really amazing!"

Dumbledore, with a few words, cured Kaisen's internal mental exhaustion, and watched him enthusiastically walk out of the Headmaster's office, heading towards Hagrid's Hut to continue his drinking battle with Hagrid.

And the good wine he had painstakingly dug out from Dumbledore's old house could only be tasted after Kaisen had sobered up this time.

What a pity, what a pity.
