Classes were still going on at Kuoh Academy. Sho sat in his seat, gazing out the window absentmindedly.
I hope those guys boarded the train properly… and didn't manage to screw something up already,
He thought with a sigh.
Meanwhile, Goro, Taro, Jiro, and Baka were comfortably seated in their own premium cabin on the train. The carriage looked classic on the outside, but the interior was sleek and modern — polished seats, smooth flooring, and even curtains framing the wide windows.
The four of them sat pressed against the glass like curious children. Outside, the scenery was unlike anything they had ever seen: an endless tunnel streaked with purple flashes, arcs of strange light flickering like lightning in slow motion. It was surreal, almost dreamlike.
"Boss, this is insane," Jiro whispered, his eyes glued to the window. "We're really going to hell on a fucking train…"
Goro smacked him lightly on the head. "It's not hell. It's the Underworld."
"But boss… devils live there. That is hell."
"Shut it. Remember what the kid told us? Don't cause trouble here. If a devil hears us badmouthing them their home, who knows what they'll do to us."
The group nodded quickly, sitting back in their seats, though their wide-eyed expressions betrayed just how unprepared they were for what lay ahead.
Sho's classes passed in a blur. He barely paid attention, his mind constantly drifting back to the four idiots on the train. Maybe I should've just skipped school today… he thought, resting his chin on his hand.
The final bell rang, echoing through the halls. Students rushed out, filling the stairway with chatter and laughter. As Sho descended the steps, a familiar, obnoxious voice caught his attention.
"Oi! Let's head to my place—I just got my hands on some brand-new foreign type DVDs. The uncensored kind!" Motohama said
"Ehhhhh?! For real?!" Issei voice squealed, his tone practically trembling with excitement.
"All hail America! The land of freedom and uncensored glory!" Matsuda howled, throwing his fists up like a champion.
Sho slowed his pace just enough to glance at the so-called Perverted Trio of Kuoh Academy. The three idiots were practically bouncing in place, eyes shining as if they'd discovered treasure.
He shook his head, muttering under his breath, "These guys are beyond saving…"
Sho himself was no saint—he had his own stash of dirty thoughts and curiosities. But at least he knew such things were meant to be kept private, not shouted aloud in the middle of a crowded staircase like these lunatics.
"Maybe that's why Raynare killed him…" Sho whispered to himself.
He had already noticed her presence around the school—sneaking in the shadows, keeping her eyes fixed on Issei. What puzzled Sho was how neither Rias nor her peerage seemed to notice it. Even Sona, who usually kept tight control over her territory, appeared completely unaware.
As for how he knew it's simple: Sho had been watching Issei carefully, keeping tabs on him. And in all that time, he had never once seen a devil from either peerage monitoring the boy.
"So they really don't know anything yet…"
he thought.
" I guess it'll take some more time before they finally realize," Sho muttered as he lingered near the school gates, waiting for Issei to step out. Yesterday he couldn't tail him because of the ice cream launch, but today he wasn't planning to miss the chance.
Meanwhile, inside the Occult Research Club, a crimson-haired beauty sat at her desk, calmly arranging documents.
"Akeno, any sign of the devil that was possibly sighted near the mountain 3 days ago?" Rias asked without looking up.
"No, Buchou," Akeno replied smoothly. "But according to the report from the Underworld, there haven't been any registered strays in the area. Perhaps he was a normal devil only visiting the human world."
"Even so," Rias said firmly, setting the papers down, "a devil entered Kuoh without notifying us or filing proper documentation. That alone is suspicious—he could very well be a spy from the Old Maou faction."
Akeno nodded thoughtfully before adding, "By the way, Buchou… Koneko has detected traces of Fallen Angels near Kuoh Academy."
That made Rias pause, her crimson eyes narrowing. "First an unknown devil, and now Fallen Angels? Just what are they planning?"
"Should we inform Sona?" Akeno asked.
"Not yet. I'll speak with her myself later," Rias decided. "For now, have Kiba and Koneko stay alert. If they spot a Fallen Angel, I want to be notified immediately."
"Yes, Buchou," Akeno answered, bowing her head.
While Sho kept his distance, tailing Issei, he noticed another presence—Raynare in her human girl form, quietly following him. Essentially, Issei was being tailed by Raynare, and Sho was tailing them both.
Wouldn't openly tailing Raynare get me in trouble?
Absolutely not. His current magical powers easily place him around the junior mid-class devil. In combat, he was an elite low-class devil, but with the Kaiō-ken technique, he could temporarily boost his strength to a standard mid-class level. On top of that, his defenses and offensive capabilities were more than enough to handle someone like Raynare, whose strength was likely between mid and high according to devil standards.
(10 percent Absorbed of the Orb of Serpent Dragon, 90 percent remains)
Sho watched as Issei entered his friend's house, while Raynare lingered nearby for a few minutes before vanishing in a flash of magic using a circle.
Seems like the plot's about to play out. Raynare must be getting annoyed keeping an eye on him every single day, Sho muttered to himself. He decided it was time to head back home.
On his way, a familiar shout made him stop.
"Boss… Bosss!"
Sho blinked. Wait, shouldn't they be in the Underworld?
He turned to see his four "free employees" huffing and running toward him.
"Wait… shouldn't you guys be in the Underworld? What are you doing here?" Sho asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Boss, we already sold out everything! So we came back" Goro panted.
"That fast?" Sho replied, surprised.
"Yes, boss! We set up the stall outside the amusement park," Jiro began, still panting. "we couldn't put it inside since they were asking for some fees, so we decided to go outside instead. At first, only a few children noticed it and begged their parents to buy. But as time passed, more and more customers came."
"Really?" Sho raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah! And it got crazy fast," Taro added. "Some parents even started fighting over who could buy first, shouting things like, 'How can you buy so many? Leave some for us!' It was… chaotic, but good."
Goro and Baka nodded vigorously, grinning from ear to ear. "It sold out so fast we didn't even have time to think. Everyone loved it!"
Sho couldn't help but smirk, a mix of pride and amusement bubbling inside him. Looks like my little ice cream experiment is already making waves…
And, by the way, boss… this is the money, and this card," Goro said, handing over a small pouch filled with coins and a business card. "Someone gave it to us. He said he wants to invest in our ice cream business and asked us to contact him."
Sho took the pouch and the card, examining it. The name on the card read Mr. BALDDY, and a small magic circle was embedded on the back — probably for magical communication.
"Alright, you guys did a fabulous job," Sho said with a grin. "Let's meet at midnight at your base to discuss what we'll do next."
"But… boss, don't you have school tomorrow?" Baka asked, frowning.
"Tomorrow's Sunday," Sho replied casually, slipping the coins into his inventory and the card into his pocket. He waved at them. "See you later."
"Boss… we didn't know ice cream could be this good of a business," Baka muttered.
"Don't call me 'boss' anymore," Goro interrupted, crossing his arms. "I'm Goro. Call me by my name." Goro nodded, accepting the change. He knew he had a real chance to build something big if he worked together with Sho.
"Alright, guys. Let's clean up the base properly. It shouldn't look shabby like before. We need to leave a good impression again," Goro instructed.
"Yes… boss! Sorry — yes, Goro!" all three said in unison before heading off to start tidying the place.
.....
Sho had just finished his shower and sat on his bed, a towel wrapped around his waist. He stretched lazily and glanced at the system screen.
[20 Gacha Tickets]
" It's gacha time" he muttered, with a straight face.
The gacha machine appeared in a flash, humming softly as always.
"Let's do ten at once," Sho decided, yanking the handle.

• X2 Healing Potions
"It seems I was right—when you have no expectations, that's when you get the best rewards," Sho muttered, staring at the Dimensional Key marked with a tiny Pokéball symbol.
"Pokémon! Hell yeah!" His eyes practically sparkled. It didn't matter whether this increased his combat strength or not—catching Pokémon had been one of his childhood dreams, right alongside becoming a Saiyan. Now, that dream wasn't just a fantasy anymore.
But then came the problem. The description clearly said one-time use only. Sho's excitement wavered, until his gaze shifted to the other prize—the Anywhere Door. A gadget straight out of Doraemon's world.
"Wait… does this thing work across worlds too?" Sho squinted, re-reading the description. It only mentioned coordinates, not restrictions. His fingers brushed the small rectangular screen and the keypad beneath it on the Door knob—meant for typing in coordinates.
If it could really connect to the Pokémon World, then even after the Dimensional Key's single use, Sho could just use the Anywhere Door to go back. That meant… unlimited visits.
I could actually bring Pokémon into this world… even set up a farm, Sho thought, his mind racing. In the Devil's Underworld there was already the familiar forest where magical creatures were raised. Pokémon could work the same way—or better.
Ideas bubbled inside him—catching legendary Pokémon, training them, and of course… "Rayquaza," Sho whispered, smirking. A Dragon-type Pokémon. In the world of DxD, living without a dragon at your side felt almost empty.
Rayquaza will be perfect to Fill that spot.
Sho also decided to scan both versions of the Dimensional Key in the system's shop—just in case for future Unpredictability. The result nearly made his jaw drop.
Each key was listed at 1,000,000 gold coins.
When he checked the Anywhere Door, it was even worse—2,000,000 gold coins.
Sho glanced at his own balance: 800 coins.
"…Yeah, way out of my league," he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
With a sigh, he stored all the rewards neatly back into his inventory. 'I guess after talking to that Mr. BALDDY tomorrow and check what kind of Deal he is Offering, If it's good we can finalize the work Immediately and after that I can Finally Use the Dimensional keyto see where it leads'.
Not the Pokémon one… but the another one with no Fixed Destination.
As for the Pokémon Dimension Key, he decided to wait a week. First, he needed to properly set up his business—once that was done, he'd basically be his own boss and could take a holiday whenever he wanted."
Midnight came, and the streets outside were drowned in silence and darkness. But Sho was still wide awake, standing in his room in front of the pink Anywhere Door.
"Let's see if this thing really works…" he muttered, gripping the knob and picturing the basement hideout of his so-called employees.
Click!
The door creaked open—
"Ouch! Who's opening the damn door here!?" Baka yelped, rubbing his head.
"Wait… where the hell did that door come from!?" Jiro shouted, eyes wide.
Sho stepped through casually, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. "Yo. You guys ready for the meeting?"
The four wannabe thugs froze, staring at him like he was a ghost. Sure, they already knew magic was real, but seeing Sho appear from a random pink door that materialized out of nowhere? That was on a whole new level.
Baka twisting his head, peeking at both sides of the door like a dumb kid seeing something new. To him, it just looked like… a normal door. Which somehow made it him even more curious.
"Alright, guys," Sho said, clapping his hands once. "Let's talk about the future of our business."
