Chapter 35 - Chapter 35

Mart met Iristel again, she was wearing a casual black dress with blue lace, which fit her figure just enough to be discreet while still showing off the beautiful figure she possessed.

Mart who was wearing a dark blue short sleeve shirt, black pants, and a brown belt and shoes, on his wrists Mart wore two gold bracelets, as everything he wore was custom made, added to his physical attractiveness, it made him stand out. At that moment, while watching Iristel, who practically wore no jewelry except for two simple earrings, he put her bracelets in her demonic purse.

-It is not necessary. -Iristel expressed calmly.

-For me it is. -Mart indicated her with a relaxed tone.

After that, the two of them went out to walk around the city, Mart observed the surroundings and asked Selis:

-What do they sell in those mysterious looking shops.

-Demonic artifacts, remains of monsters, demonic and magical beasts, and there are also remains of demons, although the best pieces of demons are for sale at auctions or in the hands of the republic and the Academy.

"Now I understand why they attacked the Academy at the end of the story," Mart looked at Iristel and said:

-Thank you, you know a lot.

-I was part of the Yarefiz house, but my mother expelled me because of my low level of talent, and as a last consideration she got me a job as a maid at the Academy. Although at the beginning it hurt me, now I am glad it was so. -Iristel replied with her characteristic mischievousness, holding Mart's arm between her breasts covered by her black dress.

-I'm glad it did, too. But you will have more than that simple Yarefiz house in the future. -Marc, who considered Iristel the first impulse that allowed him to accept his new and unstable reality in the land of demons, indicated.

Some time later Mart went with Iristel to the best stores he remembered in the memories of the real Mart, and he was received with kindness. A woman wearing an elegant red suit, in that minimalist but cozy looking store, with its white marble floors, light blue walls, with white designs around the edges, on the walls were pictures with sketches or images of the best dresses the store had ever made.

-Young Mart, we thought we would not see you again. -The woman, whom Mart had already identified, said.

-It's a pleasure, Mrs. Loretta, your designs are to my liking, it was circumstances that led me down other paths. -Said Mart trying to embellish the fact that the real Mart had preferred to waste money in other stores.

Mrs. Loretta looked closely at the clothes Iristel was wearing. Iristel began to feel a little uncomfortable, but calmed down when Mart said:

-She is my partner; I hope you can make clothes for her.

Mrs. Loretta looked at Mart with narrowed eyes and asked:

-She is a hobby or a permanent attachment.

Mart didn't bother, because he could find out from the real Mart's memories that Mrs. Loretta was eccentric and took everything into account when making her designs, which was one reason why they weren't as popular as other stores.

-It's a lifelong bond. -Mart replied without hesitation.

Mrs. Loretta took out a little gold box with precious gems inlaid, from the box she took out a slim white cigar, she puffed and the tip lit up, she inhaled deeply as she walked towards Iristel, then exhaled with her lips half open and the smoke covered Iristel and then disappeared.

-Go to the reception, leave a deposit of 10 gold coins per dress and the other 20 you will pay when you come for the dresses.

Mart walked up to the reception desk, where there was a handsome man in his 40's, wearing a suit and white gloves, reading a catalog, he was surprised to see Mart, subtly closed the catalog and asked him:

-young Sevec, how much will your deposit be.

Mart placed 100 gold coins, on the counter, the man in the suit, counted the coins, and then said to confirm:

-That will be 10 dresses.

-Correct. -Mart confirmed.

As he was about to leave, Mart looked at one of the hanging pictures that was covered by a demonic barrier that did not allow the contents to be seen.

-That's my favorite creation, I won't show it to anyone who doesn't deserve it. -Mrs. Loretta indicated with her deep and indecipherable acting style.

"Yes, this woman also fits what you expect a demon to be," Mart joked in his mind, as he nodded and headed with Iristel for the exit.

The two were in a restaurant, and as they ate Mart thought:

"Maybe everything happens for a reason, they are signs. That mysterious suit, the director's phrases and Iristel who calmed my doubts. I'll keep that in mind."

While they were sitting in front of the table in the restaurant, Mart asked her:

-Is there anything you want?

-Yes, but I want to wait for the next time we go out together," replied Iristel, who then ran a napkin with seductive grace across her lips, still looking at Mart.

Minutes later, as they walked, Mart looked at the various mystery stores so as not to forget their locations.

-Do you want to come in? -Iristel asked him as she was curious.

-No, I just want to learn the location of these stores, I still have to perfect my research, so I won't lose money. -Mart answered, who had realized when creating the cursed diagram that a superficial investigation only showed superficial results that, although useful, would require much more time and money to achieve the desired objective.

As Mart and Iristel were entering the Academy, they met the pretty Nely, who shyly handed Mart a letter and said:

-It's a message from Nirian.

Mart smiled at the sight of her and said with charming mischief:

-You are getting prettier and prettier.

Mart took the letter and walked away, with Iristel as he laughed in his mind, as he thought it was funny how Nely turned red as a tomato.

"Selis got so used to me, she doesn't show those funny expressions; joking a little is not bad, I'm a demon, right? " thought Mart and the system sent him a notification.
