Francesca's POV
"You know...", She said and slowly began roaming the kitchen aimlessly, "I thought Enzo was joking when he told me he'd taken a cheap prostitute like you as a wife, but he wasn't. I don't know why he took you as a responsibility out of nowhere, but I know it's definitely not because he loves you."
"Wh... What's that supposed to mean?", I tried to question firmly, even though it was evident that I was shaking.
"Oh, you didn't know?", She looked my way with surprise on her face. "Enzo is married to the game before he's married to any woman, Francesca. This life that he lives comes with too many commitments for him to be committed to any woman - talk less of a bitch like you", she stared at me with disgust in her eyes.
