CLIFFORD'S POV
I really hope our plan work so Romeo joins our friendship group. He looks honest, but will he be able to choose us over my sister? "When are we starting our plan?", Xander asked waking me up from my thoughts. " We have to add Romeo to our group chat then send him the rules of our friendship, I really hope he pass", I said to them. "Well I doubt he would, have you met your sister?", Evanda said hilariously. "Lemme add him now", I said grabbing my phone.

Buh before you'd be officially part of us, you have to pass a test because we have rules.
Xander:
Oh yes! Clifford would send it so you see.
Clifford:
1. Your friends should be your first priority.
2. Be honest at all times.
3. Don't fall in love with your friends sister.
4. Don't engage in bullying others.
Romeo:
Erm.. my mom is my first priority.
Xander:
Aside family ofc, our family is always going to be our first priority.
Romeo:
Okay. So what's the test?
Clifford:
It's going to be a surprise.
Romeo:

ROMEO'S POV
"What the hell!", I yelled. "What's wrong darling?", my mom asked. "Nothing mom, nothing you should worry about ", I responded. Rule one and three are so not necessary, Pearl is Clifford's sister, does that mean I have to choose between the guys and her!? Buh she's cute and seems to have a good character, I want to know her more and maybe ask her to be my girlfriend. But I guess that's not going to happen, because I'm obviously going to choose the guys! Arggghhhhh!!!! "Are you sure you're okay sweetheart?", my mom asked again. "Yes mom!", I said and fell on the couch. During lunch my phone chimed, I checked and it was a message from the group. They were planning a sleepover at Clifford's house, I was so excited. I only did sleepovers with Hendrix, it felt good being around other friends. I couldn't get my mind off Pearl, I was looking forward to seeing her. I know it's wrong because I have to choose the guys, but I can't stop myself. "Mom please can I go for a sleepover at Clifford's place, the other guys would be present too", I said to my mom who had just finished eating. "It hasn't been a week and you're already going for sleepovers, guess you make friends easily huh", she said teasingly.
" I'll take that as a yes, anddd… they approached me that's why it looks easy", I said defending myself. "I'm just saying, don't get into defend mode!", she said hilariously. "I'm going to be a lawyer, a great great lawyer, I'm going to defend the whole world against the devil", we said together and burst into laughter. My best friend Hendrix used to say that when we were in Kindergarten, he sounded so serious every time he said that.
CLIFFORD'S POV
"A friend of mine would be coming over tonight, I want you to help me out like you did with Xander", I said to my sister. "Wait you mean Romeo, your new friend?", she said standing up from the couch. "Oh so you've already met him.", I said with a slight of anger in my tone. " Of course I have, and I'm not helping you out in anyway!", she responded. "I'll upgrade your phone for you, I'll get you an iPhone 14", I said. "Why do you always do this?, I hate you right now Clifford!", she said and turned to leave. "I'm taking that as a yes lil sis", I said teasingly. "Your work begins tonight!", I added.
PEARL'S POV
I can't believe this is happening again, first it was Xander now Romeo! What if I fail this time around too? What if Romeo chooses the guys over me? That would hurt me so much, and that.. that is why I have to put in my very best to make him fall for me. Game on brother!
XANDER'S POV
I feel so bad, Pearl deserves better than being used by us. How I hope she'd be able to say no! "You look lost, is everything okay?", a female voice said. I lifted my eyes in search of where the voice came from, it was Pearl. "When is Romeo coming?", she asked walking towards me. "He's on his way, relax", I responded lazily. "Well I hope he chooses me over you guys, he's a nice guy", she said. I have no plans on saying anything else to her, I know I have no chance in changing her mind. She left after realizing I was just going to ignore her. Few minutes later Romeo entered the room. "You're early, Evander isn't here yet, Clifford is also running errands for his dad", I said knowing perfectly well Clifford was just going to buy the iPhone he promised Pearl.
ROMEO'S POV
"Okay, it's good you're here then, let's play some video games", I said when I realized how lost Xander was. He sometimes reminds me of Hendrix, always lost in their own thoughts. He looked up at me and smiled, "sure, not to brag but I'm a king in these games", he said boldly. I laughed knowing perfectly well I was going to win. We began shortly and scratch what I said earlier, I lost! This guy is so good damn! Xander was mocking me when Pearl entered, oh my goodness! I forgot how breathtaking she looks, it's like her beauty adds up every second. "What would you like for dinner?", she asked almost in a whisper. "Something simple, we'll be having snacks too", Xander responded. "Are you okay with that Romeo?", she asked looking at me. "Yeah sure, something simple", I replied and she left. "Don't fall in love with her", Xander said to me. "I'm trying", I said after a long pause.
