Chapter 7 - CREATION OF CRYSTAL AND THE INTENSIFIER

In the streets of a district, a girl and a boy are accompanied by a commander.

"Well, as you can see, they haven't developed their skills very well yet; they're just recruits," said the commander.

Then we see how the girl makes her blood create crystals to attack, and the boy increases the force of his blows, intensifying the damage.

"Well, it looks good, but they're still lacking. We'll just do one mission before taking them to the organization," said the commander.

Narrator: They are in an alleyway where they are practicing. The names of the three are: the girl is called Vell Landam, the boy is called Isack Kaguro, and finally, the commander is called Sagat Grum.

We return to them. Sagat guides the kids to a place. They arrive at an abandoned bridge, and there Sagat points down at the bridge.

"That's your target, that man down there. They say he's a heavy user and that he has a trafficking network, but you don't want to know about that," said Sagat, lighting a cigarette and leaving them alone.

They climb down from the bridge, reach the bottom, and see the guy. He's sitting there counting money from his trafficking operations. He sees them and asks them what they're doing there.

But they attack him, and he uses his blood ability.

"Blood Eclipse Release, Dead Defense," said the man, whose name is Simon Kalas.

They see a wall forming out of blood. They stop and realize that his ability would block them, but Isack believes that there shouldn't be a problem because it only blocks.

But the wall moves forward, charging at the two of them. Vell and Isack manage to dodge in time and realize that this will be difficult, but Isack attacks head-on.

Simon uses his ability again, creating a wall to block the blow, but Isaac intensifies his attacks, increasing their power, and we see the wall begin to crack.

This confuses Simon, since his wall has at least three layers of hardness, but Isaac says something.

"You know, you shouldn't have faced me so soon. I managed to improve because I made a contract. It's a simple contract, but the technique I use is that if I hit the same thing, the damage is multiplied. The condition of this was that I can only hit the same object or person I hit before, but I can only do it with the same arm," said Isack.

We watch the fight, but Vell, not wanting to be a burden, activates his ability from behind, causing crystals to pierce Simon's body, but Simon manages to cover himself from some of them.

"Hey, Vell, that's my prey, not yours!" shouted Isack angrily. "You have no right to kill it.

"It's also my target since they attacked us, both of us, idiot," said Vell.

Due to the argument, Simo took the opportunity to escape, but just when he thought he had gotten away, someone appeared and cut his throat. It was Commander Sagat, who was watching everything.

He came down and found the two still arguing. He got fed up and silenced them both.

"We'll go now. You still have a lot to learn," said Sagat.

They walked for a long time toward the organization, arriving late, at least two hours or more.

Tired, they entered and were welcomed by everyone. With that, they were ready for the mission. First, everyone introduced themselves, well, only Isack and Vell.

Ocho introduced everyone except one who was not there, as he would not be participating in this mission.

—Well, these are the others. He is ten, he is 22 years old. He is nine, he is 20 years old. I am eight, I am 19 years old. He is seven, or his name is Sifon Crawl, he is 27 years old. Don't worry, everyone knows his name only within the organization, because the truth is that he has nothing. If you want to blackmail him, it's a lost cause, and he doesn't care much about his life itself. —said Eight, pointing to those he mentioned.

—She is Six, she is 20 years old, he is Five, he is 17 years old, he is a little quiet, she is Four, she is 25 years old, he is Three, he is 19 years old, and finally, they are both 28 years old.—Eight finished saying.

Everyone now introduces themselves for what they came for. It turns out they were called because they were sent to a city called Levitstar, where there is a large auction house.

There will be objects, but that's not the point. It turns out that many mobsters and other important people will be attending, as an artifact known as a kōku will be auctioned off.

Narrator—A kōki is an imperial artifact created in the Teigoku era. These weapons were forged over thousands of years and are the main reason why the Ventx disease was created 400 years ago.

They are made from the most powerful creatures that ever existed, since thousands of years ago there were creatures that were the reason for wars. Not knowing how to eliminate or capture them and use them, the strongest creatures created the kōki from their elements and remains.

—These were created to destroy the remaining users, but many killed themselves. These weapons are unique because they grant different abilities. They existed before the Blood Fusion and its abilities. The kōki are unique; there are no replicas because their abilities are unique.

—There is only one user who controls it, because when you take it, you enter into a contract with it, as your life is linked to the weapon. That is why it cannot be controlled unless the user who has it is killed.

—They can only be used if your body is adapted to them, as there is a limitation due to how powerful these weapons are. Also, when you use them, your body experiences certain effects because they are linked. If you use an ability at high power or many times, your body will be unable to withstand it unless you have a well-trained body that can support the abilities.

"If someone is not well prepared to withstand a kōki, they could die. Only 48 artifacts have been manufactured, so they are very rare," said the narrator, concluding.

We return with the others, and when they finally realize what is happening, some of them are impressed and say that this will be interesting.

At a train station, they get on the train heading there, each sitting in a different car, waiting for it to arrive.

The train doors close and it starts moving, heading to the next station, but we see some strange passengers there looking out the windows as if they are going to attack.

Seven and Nine are in the first car, Eight, Three, and Vell are in the second car, Five and Ten are in the third car, Six and Isack are in the fourth car, and finally, Four and Two are in the fifth car.

In the sixth and last car are Seven's commander, Julius Zafard, and his assistant, a teenager named Ikuren Sazanami, who is a rebel.

We see how the men and some girls are tense, as they are all heading to Levitstar, but a tall, muscular guy turns around, sees the other guy, and asks him where he is going.

He just tells him to levitate, and just by saying this, he kills him. It seems that everyone is going there and will leave no loose ends. In other carriages, we see dead people, as no one will allow them to interfere with their objectives.

First carriage, seven people sitting in seats. "It seems the hunt has begun," said Seven, taking the cigarette out of his mouth.

In the sixth car, Julius and Ikuren are sitting there, Ikuren is playing on his phone.

"You know we can't let our guard down," said Julius. "Yes, yes, I know, don't remind me, I haven't passed this level yet."

A man approaches and asks if they are going to Levitstar, but they cut his throat. Julius tells him that they are going there too.

"It wasn't really necessary to kill him," said Ikuren. "Shut up, you damn brat."

"Calm down, old man, you're making people nervous," said Ikuren. "Old man, I'm barely 21 years old.

"To me, that's being old," replied Ikuren. "Damn kid."

With that, the hunt began, and more than 1,000 people have died, leaving only 400 people in each car. It seems that the game of death has begun.
