After Maya narrated what had happened, they were all confused and eventually let the issue slide.

The lacrosse players were out in the field most of em were just resting.
"Hey man how come you didn't tell me" Adrian asked Xavier
"Tell you what?" Xavier said, raising an eyebrow
"That you liked Maya" he said
"Not like you care.... Listen Adrian please just stop bullying or hurting her, you are hurting me as well" Xavier pleaded
"Okay besides it already got boring" he said
"but I didn't do anything today, I know you think it was me" he added.
"So who" Xavier asked, Adrian had suspected it was Ariana but he wasn't so sure he had to just let it go Adrian was going to stop bullying Maya not because of Xavier but because deep down he wanted to.

After school, Maya and her mum were having dinner together in their little sitting room, Maya was on her phone when a random message popped up, it was an anonymous, she opened the message it was just a simple 'hi' Maya just ignored it then she got another message it was a photo she clicked it open.
Time instantly froze, she was literally frozen for some minutes she didn't even realise her mum had gone to the kitchen, Maya saw her life mad her world crumble right before her eyes. She was half naked in the picture with nothing but her panties on and her bra with just enough of her boobs on display. Maya couldn't even process what was happening at that moment, then another message came in 'do you like what you see?' the person asked. Maya quickly dialed the number but the person won't pick, tears was already running freely down her face, her life would be ruined if this gets out.
"What's the matter honey" Kate said rushing over to her daughter who just got up and ran upstairs, Kate was extremely confused but Maya wasn't saying anything to her.
Meanwhile Adrian Cole was sitting beside his pool in his house, he was wondering why Maya didn't show up today, since they started working together on the project she was always at his house just then he saw someone approaching him, it was a silhouette of a girl, he quickly got up thinking it was Maya.
"Hey baby" Ariana said waving, his shoulders instantly dropped in disappointment his face changed and annoyed
"We are going to be engaged soon doesn't give you the right to show up at my house whenever you want" he said coldly
"Looks like you were expecting someone, who is it dear" she said ignoring his warnings
"I was expecting Maya" he said, Adrian watched as the smile disappeared from her face immediately, then he smirked
"Maya huh?? You seem to like her" Ariana stated
"Ariana if you ever set foot in my mansion I swear on my mum I'll make you regret it" he said coldly then walked past her. Ariana was really scared of how he just sounded. She had instantly gotten goosebumps.
"Maya Summer, watch your back" Ariana slowly muttered then left with shame and anger.

Maya had spent the whole night crying her eyes out, she couldn't do anything but cry, she put the pieces together knowing this had happened when she was knocked out earlier at school, after everything Maya went downstairs to talk to Kate, she told her mum everything that had happened earlier, Maya never wanted to tell her mum she was being bullied to avoid her worrying but now she had to tell her everything, she couldn't handle it anymore.
"It's alright honey crying won't solve anything, you have your rights and it should be protected whether rich or poor we should see the police" Kate insisted
"No mum... Just give it sometime then we can talk to the police" Maya insisted, Maya had thought Adrian was behind all this but she just couldn't understand why he would go to such lengths so she called him.
Adrian on the other hand was curious as to why she was calling but he was also a bit delighted.
"Why are you doing this to me!!" she yelled over the phone, Maya was in tears, and Adrian was confused
"Get over it, it's no big deal and don't call me for stuffs like this or I'll do worse" he said then he hanged up not giving her a chance to speak, Adrian thought Maya was still bothered about what happened at school he didn't know what was actually going on nad now with what he said Maya was convinced he was behind this.
"Let's go to the police mum" she said wiping her tears just then she got another message from the person 'do not bother going to a police or anything because the money and power I have compared to you, I'll win the case, but don't worry I won't let it out... Yet"
Maya hesitated, he was right she couldn't beat Adrian because the law was bribed as of this days, and his dad will sort things for him, but what will she do plus she has no evidence he did this. So she decided not to see the police but in the other hand she had no idea what to do.
Maya was eyes wide open all night unable to catch a sleep, then her phone rang she didn't want to pick it but it was consistent she had to.
"Hello Miss Summer" the voice came from the other end
"Who is this and what do you want" Maya said coldly
"It's me Ariana and I'm your little blackmailer hahaha" she said laughing hard, Maya quickly got up the bed
"What do you want and why are you doing this" Maya rambled
"You were the one who challenged me right Maya? So tell me have you realised what I can do?" she asked
"Is this about Adrian, we hate each other why are you being paranoid" she begged
"It is about Adrian and my hatred for you, but do not worry Maya, I'll send you an address and you will meet me there tomorrow, then we can talk" with that she hanged up, leaving Maya in disarray and confusion.
