The next day Maya had to go see Ariana at a coffee shop, that was the address she sent to her. Maya was warned to not tell anyone about it, so she had to go alone and confide in herself she had assured her mum nothing will happen so as to not make Kate worry.
"Did I keep you waiting Maya?" Ariana said as she approached the table and took a seat right in front of her.
"What do you want from me" Maya questioned
"I also do not intend to spend time with you, I need you to leave Crestwood Academy" She said taking little slip of her drink
"What??" Maya was utterly confused
"Come on Maya, don't play dumb just drop out of school, very easy, you can reapply for scholarship again when I'm out of the school" She stated
"But I can't do that, Ariana please I'll do anything else but dropping out" Maya begged
"Maya I don't have time to play Little games with you, I give you only one week to get it done, next week and I see you in Crestwood.... You know what's going to happen" she threatened
"I'll have you arrested Ariana, this is a crime and someone from a prestigious background like you shouldn't have such dirty criminal record" Maya said
"Oh wow, now listen Maya, my uncle is a judge and my dad's best friend is actually the chief commissioner of police here..... So do a little calculation I'm literally above the law" she said
"No one is above the law Ariana and I'll prove it to you" Maya said, her eyes glowing with rage, she wasn't going to back down
"I love how defiant you are Maya, just one week honey.... Byeee" Ariana said getting up and leaving immediately. Leaving Maya there so heartbroken and in confusion.
Maya for the first time in her life felt so defeated and utterly vulnerable, she had no idea what to do about this. Maya was already crying her eyes out, everyone's eyes were on her, picking her stuff up she left.
Dragging her feat around the drive way heading to her house, Maya saw a car packed in front of her house, she quickly cleaned up her tears and straightened up her shoulders, she walked up to the person in the car, she had expected to see Xavier but she was surprised to see Adrian.
"What are you doing here and how did you even get my address" Maya asked
"That's not a problem Maya..... I um.... The project is why I'm here" Adrian said, he wasn't even sure why he had come to her house, tho he didn't expect to see her outside he was just worried she didn't come to school and plus he had heard she was missing yesterday... He just couldn't deny it any longer so he drove up here.
"The project?... I um yh..... We'll hop on it tomorrow" Maya said, and with that she turned to go inside her house when Adrian called out to her making her stop mid step.
"Huh wait..... I have decided to forgive you" Adrian said
"Forgive me for what?" Maya asked confused
"For messing with me and now I have forgiven you, what do you not understand" he said casually leaning on his car
"Are you saying you will no longer bully me?" Maya asked
"Something like that" he said. Maya was out of words, she found this utterly weird but she really wanted to laugh if not for the situation she was in, she could only sigh
"OK" she said as she turned to leave again, then he called out again
"Hey, you should say thank you, and show appreciation" he said, Maya just rolled her eyes at him, he should be the one apologising for bullying her and he now wants her to say thank you like he is doing her a favour.
"What do you want Adrian" She asked
"Come on get in" he said as he turned around and got inside his car, waiting for Maya to enter, Maya was utterly surprised at his level of arrogance he had just ordered her to enter his car.
Both Maya and Adrian was walking about in the park, side by side neither of them had anything to say to each other, just enjoying each other company
"Why weren't you at school today" he suddenly asked
"I had something to do" she said absent mindedly
"Xavier was worried, he said you weren't picking up" Adrian said
"What are you doing Adrian? Why are you being nice to me" Maya asked, she was really uncomfortable with how he was acting towards her right now.
"You should be grateful, besides you are my best friend's girlfriend" he said with a half smile
"Xavier and I aren't dating" she clarified
"Did you find out who knocked you out yesterday" he suddenly asked, making Maya's heart skip a bit as she remembered everything that had happened with Ariana, then she realised she had to stay away from Adrian, so she just shook her head.
"I won't bully you anymore because of Xavier and I alos won't let anyone bully you so if you find out who did it just let me know" he said looking her in the eyes, Maya felt so raw under his stare, she could only nod her head. She was debating if she should tell Adrian after all it was his fiance and ruining her reputation would ruin his as well so she decided not to.

" Madam Miss Gilbert is here to see you" A servant informed
"Show her to my bedroom" Ariana ordered as the servant left while she got up to welcome her guest.
"I'm glad you are here" Ariana said with a smile
"Why did you call me here Ariana and I hope I do not have to take part any longer" Kelly asked
"Kelly you already helped me once, but for you to achieve what you want, you have to help me again" Ariana said, as she walked over the side table, pouring her self a glass full of wine
"You have already threatened her to leave the school, what else do you plan on doing" Kelly asked with her brows creased.
"I have a sweet plan honey...." Ariana said with a wild grin.
