The line rang longer than it should.What the fuck was Reese doing? Casper wondered.His assistants always pick his call at the first or second ring.It ended but she did not answer.Casper dialed two more times.Frustration seeping to his bones.Third call,third ring.That was when she decided to pick up.
"I am so sorry Sir I wa-" Reese quickly tried to explain.Her heart flipped in fear when she came out of the toilet and saw his missed calls.Casper was in no mood to hear her explanation.And if he wasn't in a good mood right now,he would have scolded the shit out of her.
"My girl and I are going out tonight." He says.That sentence hurt her heart.She very well knew who he was referring to.That damn actress Raina Lorre.
"Give a scoop to Tom and his team.I need great secret paparazzi photos of us on the internet.Also be sure to tell him not to make it obvious." He orders.
"Y-Yes sir." Reese's voice trembled slightly.
The line went dead after that.Reese dropped her phone on her vanity and slowly sat down on the floor.She soon bursted into an empty laughter.One that echoed in her small bedroom and into the sitting room of her studio apartment.
The first time he ever gets romantically involved with a woman,it had to be that stupid Raina Lorre.Reese considered herself way more beautiful than her.Reese had long fiery red hair and expressive light brown eyes.Along with her oval shaped face and perfect nose.She was beauty itself.She had every beauty pageant as a child.And was the object of almost all the guys secret crushes in highschool.A heartthrob in university too.
All she's ever heard were compliments from men and women.All praising her beauty.She could easily rival and displace the country's top super model.
Reese had always had guys attention.They followed her wherever she went.But why could he not see her? Reese had turned down great guys all because of her feelings for Casper.
Reese got up and marched towards the full length mirror beside her bed.To once again see her ethereal beauty and get a confidence boost from it.

Raina left the agency at four pm and spent a few hours with her sister, Bailey until eight.That was the time she and Casper planned to go watch a movie.
Raina was waiting outside the hospital when for Casper when her phone rang.The caller was unknown.Not saved in her contact.
This was the 'dark side of fame' celebrities talk about.Strange unknown people calling you randomly.Raina has been having it ever since she and Casper's relationship.
She swiped receive,but planned not to say anything and just listen to what the person wants to say.
The silence was heavy, almost depressing.The caller said nothing.Raina checked to see if the call was still on and it was.
Wierdo alert.
Raina almost hung up until she heard HIS voice. "Raina." He called in his calm deep voice. "Not planning on speaking?" He jabbed.
Raina's grip on the phone tightened.She had hoped to not meet him again.
"What do you want stranger?" Raina said In a flat tone.
Vernon snorts out a chuckle at her words.It ended as soon as it came.
"Get in the car next to you." Raina then turned to see a black car close to where she was standing.The car had been there since she came out.She thought it to be someone else's. "Stop this Vernon.Are you stalking me?"
"I knew my name was not that forgettable.Especially to you." Vernon's words were a bit on the suggestive side.Considering...
"Screw you,Idiot! Am hanging up."
"Do that unless you want to lose custody of Bailey and have your career crumble just as fast as it has risen."
"What did you just say?"
"Now you sound like you are getting it.Into the car now."
"What the hell do you want from me?!"
"You know soon." Vernon hangs up as soon as he said that.
Raina's mind was in dilemma.She slowly walks towards the car.Raina peers in through the glass.She saw a someone at the driver seat.And Raina instantly knew him to be somewhat like an assistant to Vernon.She also knew his name.Luke.
Raina got in on the driver seat.And Luke started the car.Few minutes into the drive,Raina asked "What the hell does he want?"
"He won't harm you." Luke says.
"Then why the hell did he threaten me?"
Luke sighs.Later realizing that he shouldn't have spoke.
