"Don't stay out too long and don't stray too far away from the village, okay?" Mama called after me as I made my way out of the hut.
"I won't," I called back before taking the narrow path leading to the main settlement of the village.
We travelled the forest for a few years before finally settling here. Ever since I could remember, our clan never settled in one location for too long. We were used to always moving, always travelling and sleeping wherever the night found us.
We weren't so populated back when I was toddler but time moves fast and the clan has grown a lot bigger than what it used to be.
And as time went on, Baba would seldom bring up topics of settling somewhere for longer periods before we moved again.
