Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 Regeneration Potion

The Priests came to Navoli's side, and Ravencrest introduced, "His bones seem to be broken; even the slightest movement causes him immense pain."

"We will examine him carefully!" the Priests said solemnly, then surrounded Navoli, began to cast divine spells, and checked Navoli's physical condition.

"Spinal fracture…"

The Priests fell silent, then hesitantly said, "We are not skilled in healing, and if we force treatment, it might lead to unpredictable consequences."

Navoli's expression changed drastically. Was there no possibility of him being healed? His life had just begun; was it going to end like this?

Captain Ravencrest also became anxious. Although he often teased Navoli, no one wished for Navoli to be healed more than he did. If Navoli hadn't struck the Troll Leader, he would not have been the Troll Leader's opponent, even if the Troll Leader was already injured.

Arcane Energy surged, and Gale flashed over. He glanced at Navoli, "What happened?"

Ravencrest said with a feeling of guilt, "Navoli's spine was broken by the Troll Leader, and the Priests are not skilled in healing. If they force treatment, it will lead to unpredictable consequences."

The Priests also felt guilty. If they had studied healing divine spells more, the current situation wouldn't have arisen.

Gale retracted his Arcane Vision and performed an enhanced observation on Navoli. Navoli's injuries immediately appeared in his mind. He continuously wove ether spirits, creating a screen-like display, and then projected Navoli's injuries onto it with a spell.

"!!?"

Everyone looked at the image on the screen in surprise. How was this done?

Although they were not mages, they had seen countless mages and had never seen any mage who knew such a spell.

"Just a projection spell!"

Gale said lightly. He had developed this spell based on the principle of X-rays. It was also somewhat popularized in Nasalas, but only used for tactical observation.

Using it in medicine was Gale's first attempt. This method of use was much more difficult than tactical observation, the difficulty lying in concentrating Arcane Vision at one point. This required extremely high Arcane control ability. Without strong micro-control ability, coupled with the restraining ability of ether spirit, Gale would not have been able to achieve injury projection.

With the injury projection, the Priests gained a little more confidence.

After some discussion, they said, "Too many vertebrae are fractured. We need to piece all these bone fragments back into place before we can use divine spells to heal. However, we cannot heal him all at once; it will require long-term treatment. Moreover, it will also require the support of your projection spell."

Ravencrest felt a pang of disappointment.

Draksa and Salador had already arrived and became anxious upon hearing the Priests' explanation.

"Your Excellency, you must heal the Captain."

Gale signaled them to calm down; he already understood the situation. The Priests present were more skilled in combat. They could heal minor injuries but not severe ones.

It seemed necessary to develop military medics, otherwise, many Kaldorei soldiers would not die on the battlefield but on sickbeds.

"I will heal Navoli."

Gale took out a bottle of potion from his magic pouch. "This is a Regeneration Potion, made from regenerative factors extracted from troll bone marrow and blood, mixed with some herbs that enhance recovery."

Everyone looked at the potion curiously but couldn't make sense of it.

"I don't have much of it here either," Gale said. "So, anyone who is idle can now collect blood and bone marrow from the troll corpses. I need it to prepare the potion."

Everyone immediately became alert and rushed to the troll corpses scattered everywhere. When collecting the bodies earlier, they had only gathered the injured trolls and ignored these corpses, treating them like garbage. But now, these "garbage" were treasures all over!

After sending the others away, Gale said to the Priests, "I now need a quiet and clean environment."

"Leave it to us!"

The Priests drove Draksa and Salador away, then stood around Gale and Navoli. They prayed to Elune, and moonlight descended, enveloping Gale and Navoli.

Gale felt the power within the divine spell and sighed with emotion, "Is this the power of a deity? It's truly amazing."

Collecting his thoughts, Gale dismissed the projection spell. He needed to put more energy into the healing. He used a levitation spell to lift Navoli's body, then slowly turned him in the air.

Condensing Arcane Energy into a blade, he cut open Navoli's clothes, revealing the spine piercing through the skin. Gale used Arcane Energy to flush the wound, cleaning off the dirt. Then he used the energy blade to cut open the skin, exposing the shattered bones inside.

Dispelling the energy blade, Gale manipulated Arcane Energy with both hands, piecing the bone fragments together bit by bit.

He uncapped the potion and slowly poured it onto the spine. Arcane Energy restrained the potion, allowing it to only contact the spine. If the potion touched the flesh, the wound would heal quickly, and the spine would remain unhealed.

"Ah—"

Navoli cried out in agony. The healing of his spine brought him immense pain. He instinctively wanted to struggle, but Gale had already fixed him in place with Arcane Energy.

Everyone looked at Navoli with concern. Although they trusted Gale, they were still inevitably worried. After all, Gale was just a mage, even less skilled in healing than a Priest.

Gale observed that the spinal healing seemed insufficient and poured some more potion onto it. Soon, the spine healed completely, and new bone tissue connected the fractured fragments, looking no different from natural bone.

Only then did Gale release the restraint on the potion, allowing it to heal the wound.

After the wound healed, Gale straightened Navoli's body and released him from his restraint.

Navoli's feet touched the ground, and he immediately collapsed. He was unable to stand due to the immense energy consumed by the wound healing.

Gale stepped out of the moonlight. The Priests also withdrew their divine spells, and Draksa and Salador quickly ran over to help Navoli up.

"Captain, how are you?"

Navoli nodded slightly, "A little sore, and also, is there anything to eat? I'm hungry!"

Draksa quickly took out some food from his pouch, preparing to give it to Navoli.

Gale turned and said, "Milk is fine, but don't eat anything else for now. He's just recovered from a serious illness and can only have easily digestible liquid food."

One Priest said, "If it's just to restore his stamina, I can help."

Gale thought for a moment. There were many aspects of divine spells he didn't understand, and perhaps it would be effective.

"Then I'd appreciate it!"

The Priest prayed a divine spell, and a beam of moonlight poured into Navoli's body. Navoli struggled to his feet and felt his body. Aside from being a little hungry, there was nothing unusual.

He picked up the milk and took a few sips. His hunger eased slightly, and he finally let out a sigh of relief.

When he was being treated earlier, he felt as if he had experienced death.
