Peace be upon you ❤️🥹
The novel: Should I fight my husband or the black tumor?
Genre: Light romantic action, drama
Chapter 9: In the name of God ❤️ and let's start ❤️💕
[The scene opens on a dark room with dim lighting. Riman is sitting on a chair in front of a large and luxurious dining table, her hands clenched on the armrests. Her eyes are fixed on her grandfather who is standing in front of the window, his back to her while he slowly smokes his pipe. The tension fills the air like a sharp knife.]
Grandfather: (blows out thick smoke with a sigh)
"I'm sorry... my dear."
"Maybe the smell of the pipe bothers you, even though my health is lacking, but I can't bear staying without it."
Riman: (with stifled tension, but her voice sharp)
"Do as you please, uh... Grandpa..."
She's tense because Fox is playing with her grandfather's food, looking at her and smiling.
"For the first time, I've found delicious food like this."
Grandfather: (slowly turns his head towards her, his cold eyes carrying the weight of centuries)
"You know now that you must become an enemy to your future husband."
Riman: (grasps the armrests of the chair until her veins bulge)
"I know... but—"
Grandfather: (interrupts her with a raised hand)
"I'll tell you quickly: the mission that has become yours... is to clean up all the tumors in the world."
"You must have heard about the devastating blue tsunami incident in the 19th century... that struck the southern part of the continent and wiped out entire cities." He looked at her as he continued sadly with tearful eyes, "Even though our country was only affected in its southeastern part."
Riman: (mumbles as she remembers)
"All of this happened in the 19th century... but—"
Grandfather: (drops the pipe on the table and extinguishes it)
"But the tumors have returned! People are dying again! Every year, the attack rates increase... and wars break out due to the inability of countries to control the situation!" (whispering)
"We aim to contain the disaster before it engulfs the world."
Riman: (stands suddenly, her chair falling behind her)
"Didn't you do all this for your grandson?!"
Grandfather: (laughs bitterly)
"No... My goal is for leadership to be taken by someone capable of control..." (advances towards her)
"And my grandson... is reckless. He's not fit."
Riman: (picks up the pipe from the ground when it slips from his hand and speaks seriously)
"Why did you choose me? You know I'm weak!"
Grandfather: (grabs the tail of the fox "Fox," which had been sneaking up behind her, lifts it into the air)
"Ask yourself: why did you save yourself while others died?" "You were unaffected despite the explosion." (shakes the fox violently)
"It seems you have strength... even without this cursed thing!"
Fox: (writhes angrily)
"Let me go! You don't understand—"
Riman: (snatches the fox from the grandfather's hand, throws it away)
"I told you not to play around too much... they'll discover your secret!"
Grandfather: (then turns to her suddenly)
"Alright... I want to ask you: why does Sajjad want the safe? Is it really for his mother?"
[A heavy silence. The grandfather doesn't answer, just points to the window where a huge black zeppelin bearing the "Carlos" logo descends from the sky.]
[Underneath the zeppelin, a horrifying scene: Nazar (Sajjad's brother) fights Aither fiercely, each blow splitting the earth.]
Riman: (drags the grandfather to the window)
"What's happening here?! Why is Sajjad—?"
Grandfather: (his eyes widen)
"It looks like they're fighting..."
Riman: (tries to jump through the window)
"I have to stop—"
Fox: (returns running, bites her tail)
"Are you insane?! They're hundreds of times stronger than me! Can't you see their movements? Even moving your eye won't allow you to follow them!"
[The scene freezes on a shot of Aither attacking Sajjad from behind, while the wind tears at the tree leaves as a sign of the end of the world...]
[A scene of a black mountain shows black roses blooming at its peak, swaying as if breathing. Darkness envelops the place, while a cold moonlight reflects off the sharp rocks. Suddenly, Aither emerges from the shadows as if part of it, his pale blue hair fluttering like frozen flames. His narrow eyes glow with a deadly gleam, and his smile carries hidden sarcasm.]
Aither: (in a calm voice, but every word drips with poison)
"Sajjad... do you really want to die? Your excessive arrogance will devour you."
[His hands in his pockets, leaning against a rock indifferently.]
"I won't let you enter... or reach the safe."
Sajjad: (stares at him, his golden eyes blazing like two embers in a storm, his fists clenched so tightly that his veins bulge.]
"Don't joke with me!" [He shouts, the ground cracking under his feet as he takes a step forward.]
"Who sent those bodies to kill my brother? One dead... and the other alive! Their memories are planted like rotten seeds!"
[Throws a stone toward him, but Aither deflects it with a mere touch of his finger, uncaring.]
"The blue tsunami? Lies! A trivial game!"
[He breathes angrily.]
"Do you think I won't figure out that you used Hishim material?! Idiots!"
[A strange hissing sound fills the air.] * [While Sajjad speaks, he throws the stone at Aither, who catches it in his hand and crushes it] walks and the ground trembles.
"You extract it from the area... the black tumor explosion! A weapon to control corpses... you've turned the battles upside down!"
Aither thought to himself
"There are two organizations with authority to use it: the International Organization for Human Protection and our organization, Kalus only."
"Which means we're the suspects since the International Organization withdrew from these experiments long ago and our organization remained."
[Slams his hand into the air.]
"Even the dead body can fight now... and destroy everything!"
[Inside him, fragmented images flash: blue waves... screams... two children holding each other's hands... then darkness.]
(Thinks): "I know what your goal is, my brother... will you cooperate with them to reach it?"
"I know you won't dare." He looks toward the surveillance cameras.
"But there is someone who dares... and will pay the price..."
Aither: (laughs softly, then stops suddenly, his eyes glowing with a deep blue light.)
"Do you think I'll use such a weapon on someone as weak as you?" [Points at him with his thumb.]
"You're just a foolish boy trying to prove yourself... I don't have time to play with you."
[Suddenly, a black circle appears under Aither's feet, extending like intertwined arms surrounding Sajjad.]
Sajjad: (yells angrily, trying to free himself.)
"Where are you going?! Do you think I came here for this reason alone?! Wrong!"
[Smiles suddenly fiercely.]
"I want the safe before anything else!"
[Attacks quickly, breaking the black barrier with a powerful punch.]
Aither: (inside himself): "If it weren't for the wound in my heart... I would've torn you apart."
[Aloud]: "Sajjad, you'll never win this battle."
(Thinks): "I thought he wanted to fight... but he was deceiving me to break the barrier! Clever trick... but I'm ready."
[Launches after him immediately, grabs him with his iron gloves. But Sajjad escapes.]
Sajjad: He became heavier than before.
Sajjad: (pulls out a shiny metal rod from his pocket, gleaming under the moonlight.)
"Goodbye, you coward!"
[Throws it forcefully toward him, but the rod stops midway, colliding with an invisible barrier.]
Aither: (smirks, gestures with his finger.)
"You're a deceiver... but of course, I have countermeasures for everything."
[With the help and return of the organization members who were on the highest rocky peak, the barrier returns as it was, then throws the rod toward him with force, but it falls short of reaching.]
Sajjad: (leans on his knees, breathing heavily, but his eyes still burning.)
"You're disgraceful! If you were a man, you'd fight me!"
Aither: (mocks, shakes his head.)
"No problem... the important thing is not to lose to you."
[Suddenly, his face freezes.]
"Remember... be careful, because I won't be lenient this time... and I'll carry out my family's loyalty."
Sajjad: (explodes in anger, his veins about to burst.)
"You dream, you scum! You won't even touch a strand of Nazar's hair!"
[Suddenly, the barrier cracks slightly... Aither notices this, his eyes widening.]
[Sajjad loses control, his power flowing like a raging river in the place.]
"My barrier won't last forever! I'll take the safe... and burn you and this whole place!" (laughs crazily)
[Aither presses his fingers, as if trying to control himself... but something changes in his eyes.]
[In that moment, both Aither and Sajjad look toward the Carlos zeppelin where Riman stands on the edge, her long white hair fluttering, her red eyes staring at the battle below her feet. Suddenly... a red line slides from under her hair, dripping onto her forehead, then cascading over her red eyes without her blinking.]
Fox: (trembles)
"Blood?!"
[Riman calmly touches the blood, while the battle is reflected in her blood like a vision from hell.]
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hot blood dripped from her hair strands, and she turned around... only to face a man whose head was severed from the top!
"Stay away!"
Fox growled angrily, but Sajjad had already torn his body apart with incredible speed, while Aithar stood coldly in the distance.
"It's good that he arrived before anything else..." Aithar muttered to himself.
As for Sajjad, he turned to his grandfather and said harshly:
"Do not go easy on the guards! Not all of them are ordinary humans... there are spies among them!" Then he grabbed the iron rod skillfully and began spinning it among the guards like a storm.
"Alright... I'm done!"
"Goodbye!"
When he was about to leave, Riman stood in his way, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you for helping me..." she said as she followed him lightly.
But he turned to her rudely: "Get out of my sight!"
However, she didn't get annoyed; instead, she smiled innocently. "Thank you... you're good after all!"
Suddenly, he grabbed an iron rod towards her neck, and blood started oozing out! "Stay away... or else!" he shouted, but he didn't expect her reaction... she kept smiling despite that and didn't back down!
He turned his back and left, but before he disappeared, he heard a cheerful woman's voice laughing say: "You're really bold!...Damn!"
"Didn't I tell you not to pay attention to this lowlife!" Fox said angrily, then disappeared quickly.
Aithar talking to himself
"... Does he hate her that much?" someone asked. "I expected him to attack us!"
Then a girl ran towards Riman.
"Are you alright?" the deputy Riman asked worriedly.
"Yes..." she answered calmly.
Aithar looked at the grandfather: "Sir, are you alright?"
"Yes... Sajjad avoided talking to me."
"Are you two not getting along well?" Riman asked.
There was silence in the room.
Faux answered coldly: "It seems it's just a superficial relationship in front of people."
The grandfather sighed: "It doesn't matter... Aithar, I want you to meet the new leader."
"Where is he?" the deputy asked while trying to focus and search for the leader in a funny way.
But Aithar ignored her and headed towards Riman: "Leader, follow me."
"What? Her?!" cried an astonished deputy.
She turned her head to look, shocked.
"Well, it seems you're the leader, but why didn't you tell me..." the deputy said angrily, looking sad with tears in her eyes (in a funny way).
He avoided her gaze coldly.
"I didn't tell you before... Riman is the current leader of the Carlos organization. We were on a mission, so I didn't have time to tell you this... and she will become Sajjad's wife."
She replied, looking desperate.
"Alright... but I don't want to hurt your feelings. You need intensive training to become like your husband."
And then she laughed a hellish laugh.
"Wait... I can be your trainer... and become the best trainer... and make you a very skilled leader."
"I wish you'd shut your mouth, Clara!" He looked at her. "You've been bothering us with your philosophy!"
"Leader, I was just trying to help her!" said Deputy Clara.
And she complained as she left.
The grandfather laughed.
"Don't mind her." Aithar told Riman.
"Thank you, Clara." Riman said with a smile.
"Take the grandfather to rest, he looks tired." Clara ordered.
"Yes, sir... come on, grandpa."
The grandfather replied, "Let's go..."
"Goodbye, Riman." Clara said as she walked away.
While Riman was bidding her farewell, Aithar said: "You can come with me now."
"Alright... sir."
"You must call me 'Deputy', Leader."
"What's your name then?"
"We don't have time for introductions. My name is Aithar, Leader."
Riman thought to herself: "He exhausts me when he says 'Leader' treating me this way!"
"I know you're upset because I said 'leader' instead of 'leaderess,' but this is our team's way. There's no place for emotions here."
"He's cold and talks nonsense? He's really annoying!" Fox muttered.
"Be quiet!" Riman scolded him.
When they reached one of the doors,
"You can enter the black room now." Aithar said seriously.
"Alright..." Riman said nervously.
When Riman entered, she noticed how cold it was, and his speech was sparse. He closed the door and left her alone... until she heard a mysterious sound!
Riman sneaked through the observation window (balcony of the hall), and she saw Aithar standing in front of a group of central leaders.
"Welcome everyone. I hope you're all well."
"We've heard about the new leader... we hope the choice is better." said one of them curiously.
"That's true... there's a new leader. But before I introduce him to you, I want you to hear the organization's report."
Then he began explaining the situation seriously: "Two dangerous weapons have been stolen: F-10 (a weapon similar to a nuclear bomb) and G-08 (the sensitive sword) from the red room. These are secret weapons under heavy guard... but they were sold to Moulai Island!"
Shock spread throughout the hall!
"Carlos... these are exclusive experiments for the organization! We can't overlook this betrayal, right, Lady Dalia?"
"Yes... that's correct." Dalia replied coldly.
"We can create new weapons! And before that, shouldn't we eliminate the black tumor and focus on this field instead of wasting time?" someone objected.
But Aithar didn't hesitate and interrupted him: "How can we care about the outside world when our organization is full of agents and traitors... do you know the punishment for stealing something this serious?"
The deputy of Dalia shivered as if melting from fear as he looked at him.
"Immediate execution!" with a killer face and icy heart.
In an instant, he cut off the man's head with a quick strike almost unseen, without even touching him!
"It should have tortured him a little... he doesn't deserve to be my deputy after betraying me." Dalia said coldly.
"We don't have time for that. Our organization is full of spies, and you must know that we need to clean it up. That's why we need a new leader."
Then he pointed to the upper hall balcony: "You can go out now, Leader."
Riman went out trembling, but Fox whispered to her: "Calm down! They're human like you."
"Alright..." to herself "Yes... but now he killed a man and sold him behind the scenes, so I won't expect him to spare me if I make a mistake."
Before Riman could speak and introduce herself,
One of the leaders shouted angrily: "Why don't we choose Sajjad? A woman can't lead us!"
"It's impossible for us to accept a woman ruling over us!"
Riman didn't speak and remained silent, so Fox said, "Don't pay attention to them..."
But Dalia suddenly stood up, her eyes blazing with anger: "Am I not a woman? I controlled the front lines! The leader before Zir was a woman! Yes, this girl looks weak, but we must give her a chance!"
A heavy silence fell...
Riman looked at Dalia in shock, surprised by her defense, and the latter winked at her, making Riman blush.
"Even if we leave, this is better!" Fox muttered.
Dalia was at the door, about to leave.
"I'll leave... Aithar, continue speaking to them without me."
Aithar returned to the meeting: "Alright... we'll subject her to three tests: a written test about the organization, a combat test, and acceptance by everyone."
The attendees agreed, and after the meeting ended, everyone left the hall, and Riman was left on the balcony.
She looked toward the door: "I won't disappoint her trust in me. I must succeed this time," she said with enthusiasm.
Fox replied angrily: "Don't you hear me? These people are all mad, the grandfather told us to leave..."
"No, no... it doesn't matter what that woman said, think about it..."
So Riman smiled. "Fox, dear, we must apply what the grandfather said to gain our freedom..."
But someone murmured as he left: "If it weren't for Zir Taira choosing her, we would have rejected her!"
"Even if it was Zir... we won't tolerate any mistakes. Her acceptance depends on her strength, we don't want a weak leader!" Aithar said sternly.
When Riman returned to the locked room, she was surprised to see the deputy standing in front of her, her eyes glowing with challenge:
"Sister, I can play with you, you won't refuse."
She began to extract her claws like a cat, ready to attack her, stunning both Riman and Fox.
