At exactly 1:50 pm Thursday afternoon, Mr and Mrs Hale were ushered into Mr Castillo's office. Noel smiled so brightly to see them he was going to have another high class client the highest he could ask for after the president. He had no idea doom was lurking around.
Brenda was dropped off by gate of the bank with a taxi. She waited for the cameras to turn out of her direction before she got out of the cab and stepped into the bank. With the help of their insider, she got in through the back door changed her outfit into that of a worker and carried the coffee tray. She had a face mask on so she coughed and sneezed so that no one would draw attention to her half covered face.
She headed straight to the camera room where only one guy sat.
"Hey, your order for coffee".
He stood up and turned around while she walked closer to him.
"Coffee? I never ordered that". The tech guy spoke confused.
She coughed and sneezed.
"Are you fine?".
"Yeah I am. Just a little under the weather".
"Then you should have stayed home".
She laughed lightly.
"You know what your boss is like". She coughed again.
The guard looked at her with so much pity he could agree that his boss was ruthless.
"Well since you didn't order this. I'll leave with it then". She turned around to leave bumping into him on purpose. The coffee spilled all over his shirt.
"Oh my God I'm so sorry. Oh my God, let me help you clean that". She went into panic. She didn't let him speak. She quickly placed the coffee tray on the table besides his laptop inserting the USB, she stretched over the table to pick up a wipe from the box.
"Smooth". Audrey commented over the earphone as she received the alert that the drive was successful inserted.
She punched in her laptop keys while Steven couldn't help but stare at her in admiration.
Brenda continued her drama to buy Audrey time to hack in. She wiped the coffee off his clothes but as she continued her pace slowed. She ran her fingers over his chest.
"You have such great physique. I'm sure you'll look even better with your shirt off". She smirked looking up at him flirtatiously and it I was working.
"You think so". He smiled from ear to ear.
"I know so. What do you say, we met after work hours. Just you and me at my suit". She made the last sentence drawing every word to sink in as she moved her fingers from his chest to his muscles walking even closer to him.
"Yeah .Why not". He smiled like a finished man.
"I'm in". Audrey alerted her on her ear phone.
"Great. For now I have to run. If the boss see us like this he wouldn't be impressed.
She pulled away from him quickly reaching for her coffee tray she took out the drive. And turned around to leave.
"See you after work". She winked at him.
"I'll wait for you". He felt joy erupting in his blood. He didn't know what foul game had just played out.
"Phase one completed". Brenda informed the others on the phone.
"We have less than 8 minutes". Audrey informed them.
The waste truck pulled up at the bank gate while Brenda changed her outfit into an all black coat and a hat as she strolled through the bank with a briefcase in her hand. She walked past Emma who codedly handed her a senior staffs badge she needed to get in. Emma was a smart pickpocket, she had barely bumped into the guy before she stole his barge.
"Hey Bob, you watched the game last night?". The security at the gate spoke friendly with Marcus who now had a smooth face mask of the usual Bob who used to drive the waste truck while Rafi sat beside him as Shaw.
"You know I did. A 3-0 win was a massive one". Marcus who had happened to randomly watch the match the previous day replied him confidently and friendly.
"Yeah man. You know what I mean". The man laughed with him. As they shaked hands.
"ID's?".
"I thought we were past this?".
"Bank rules you know".
"Sure". Bob showed him his ID confidence written on his face but not in his heart. The scan approved it and both men turned to look at each other Shaw did the same and the scan approved it.
"Ok you're through".
"Yes". Audrey screamed in the car. Her electronic chip had done magic.
"You guys came early today, what's the catch?".
"Your gold". He spoke with a straight face.
The expression on the mans face went blank and everyone who was listening on the earphone along side Rafi who sat beside him was in shock.
"What is wrong with Marcus is he trying to sell us out?". Audrey whispered in fear.
He suddenly burst out laughing. "You needed to see you face man. I was kidding our boss complains of our delayed works so we decided to increase speed limits and finish the days work on time. Relax man". He laughed again.
"Bro you got me". The security man laughed. "Open the gate".He ordered. They drove in successfully.
"We're in". Rafi announced.
As they stepped out of the truck two other trucks drove past them heading out. Marcus and Rafi's eyes followed the vans till it drove out.
They over heard two guards talking about the vans moving gold over to a safe house out of town.
"I want those gold". Marcus spoke into the head phone.
"Just don't get us in trouble". Brenda who had now gotten into the safe room ready to crack codes spoke.
"Don't worry I won't step out. I just have to make a call. The gold left in the bank isn't much, there would be no need for the second van. Boss what do you think? We can handle it ourselves".
Zyra sat in Noel office magestically as her husband discussed owning a safe in his bank. She typed on her phone while Audrey was her voice.
"The boss says to get the gold into the trash truck. And you can make your call Marcus you're not new to the game".
Marcus smiled to himself he was impressed with Zyra's line of thought.
"Mr Noel since we've agreed why don't you show us our safe". Victor spoke confidently.
"Sure, Mr Hale I'm delighted you chose us". He stood to his feet extending his hand for a hand shake and Victor took his hand main while Zyra pretended not to see his hand so he had to take it back in shame.
As Zyra rose to her feet, Emma barged into the office her face covered in a robbers cloth. She ran up to him grabbing him by the neck she tackled him to the ground, hitting and blowing him. Giving Carla a chance to carry out her own part of the plan while Victor tried to prevent Emma from hitting him.
"You useless man you left after using me right". Emma played along with the script.
With the fright in Noel's bones Zyra was able to get into his head.
"You're a bastard, a moron. I know what you did. You ran off afterwards right". Emma stood up gently and quietly exited the office while Noel continued to hold his head trying to fight off the voices he heard.
"Mr Noel, Mr Noel". Victor called out to him and Zyra held the whisper off.
Noel's eyes flew open only to find himself on the floor fighting against himself. He looked at the expression on Mr and Mrs Hale's faces and he couldn't feel embarrassment swallowing him up.
"Mr Castillo. This is very much unprofessional. If you have a medical issue I suggest you visit the hospital not be in the office". Victor put on a straight face speaking sternly.
Noel could clearly see that he had pissed off Mr and Mrs Hale and nobody dares to do that.
"I'm so sorry Mr Hale. It's must just be one of those girls who couldn't get enough of me and my money". He spoke rising to his feet dusting his coat.
Victor stared at him anger and disgust written all over his face. "Which girl?. I'm talking about you throwing yourself to the ground and saying all sorts of rubbish and you tell me about your girls. What is my business in all of that?". Victor was clearly pissed.
Noel's head swole in shock.
"Mr Hale, do you mean you did not see the girl that tackled me to the ground?".
"Are you questioning me?". Victor asked back knitting his brows.
"No, no sir. I-I I'll take you to your safe". He tried to wrap his head around what just happened. Was he really having a mental breakdown?".
"You should have some water you seem stressed".
"You're right Mrs Hale". He poured water into his glass and picked it up drinking a little from the content before realizing and asking out loud.
"Why's the glass so dusty and sticky. This workers". He examined the glass. It was a complement of Zyra's game she couldn't let him look too deep at the glass she had to distract him. She sent the whisper again.
"I know what you did Noel". Noel jerked in fear and dropped the glass. His eyes met the couple's and he knew they weren't happy.
"Please come with me". He beckoned them.
Zyra communicated to the crew through Audrey that it was about to get real they were already heading to the safe room so they all had to leave.
In about a minute, they walked into the room. Noel's jaw dropped in terror his eyes popped.
"Mr Noel what's going on here?". Mr Hale asked innocently.
"No, no, no, no, no. This can't be happening". He ran to the safe's that were open although not all more that half of them where left open. All but three aof those which where left open retained their content in them but the other three were gone.
"I'm being robbed. Security". Two of his security guards quickly ran in.
"Lock down the building no one goes out, no one comes in. Check the gold". He spoke his voice shaking.
At this time Emma had already gone into his office, taken his fingerprint off the glass and cleared his personal safe in his office. The trash truck had rode out and Steven's car had just past the gate when the order to lock the gate got to them.
"Sir, the Gold are all gone". The guard spoke fear written all over his words.
Noel could feel his limbs getting weak. Fear gripped everyone of his joints.
He ran off into his office to check on his belongings only to meet his safe empty everything gone. The walls of his office started to spin in his eyes and to top it he got a phone call.
"Sir we found both your trucks abandoned under the subway". As the person on the other end finished speaking Noel immediately collapsed to the ground.
Mr and Mrs Hale who stood behind him turned to each other a smirk of victory in her face as they watched the security and other staff trying to revive him and call the ambulance.
"This is only the beginning Noel. I'm coming for you". Zyra spoke inwardly darkest and pain in her eyes.
