(10:00 AM)
Clouds move in the sky, birds chirp, and people wander here & there on the streets.
Marshal is peacefully sleeping in his room. A ladder is propped against the outside of his window.
A group of nine people, standing in the garden of his house, are the ones who placed the ladder.
All are wearing the same grey-black robe. A lady with blonde hair, wearing black glasses, speaks to the one holding the ladder:
"Alright! Climb it now"
A man in his early twenties, with jet black hair, nods and starts climbing it.
The door of the balcony of one house beside Marshal's house opens. Selina steps out while yawning.
Her eyes are half-open when she starts to admire the view. She takes a deep breath, and with an energetic smile she says:
"Ha! What a beautiful start to the day"
She moves her head and notices something weird—the ladder and the group of people—She frowns:
"Ehh?!"
She freaks out:
"Oiii..."
The man on the ladder looks behind.
Selina says:
"What the heck are you trying to do?!"
The man yells:
"Haa?"
Selina speaks loudly:
"WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?"
The man yells again:
"Oh! We have to meet a guy named Marshal... Are we in the wrong place?"
Out of nowhere Selina throws a bucket of water on him while saying:
"Then get back and meet him through the main door"
*After some time*
Selina is standing in front of Marshal's house. Before knocking, she says to the group of people:
"If you want to meet someone you KNOCK the main door, airheads"
The same man speaks:
"No, we aren't airheads we are from Skyward Society."
The lady hits his head and says:
"At this point, you're proving her right"
(some minutes later)
They are all standing, and watching Marshal sleep peacefully. Selina moves her head, takes a look, and sees:
One guy with sparkling purple eyes, is standing with his back to the table, and a shy lady with pink eyes is standing beside him.
The lady with blonde hair is sitting on the chair, and the man from before is now trying to dry his wet robe.
One guy is standing looking out of the window. Two ladies are standing nonchalantly beside him.
The remaining two—A male and a female— are going through Marshal's bookshelf.
Selina sighs while sitting on the carpet and says:
"What in the world are y'all trying to do?"
The lady, sitting on the chair, speaks:
"We are waiting for him to wake up"
Selina gasps:
"Huh?"
"C'mon..."
The lady asks:
"What happened?"
Selina closes her eyes:
"He won't wake up until any of you try to wake him up. It's Sunday, so no school, that's why he's sleeping till now"
The lady says:
"No, we can wa-"
Once more, Selina throws a bucket full of water on him, but the water evaporates before reaching Marshal.
She tries to touch his face, but fails to do so. The lady says:
"Now, you see, we can't do anything until he does"
While staring at the pillow beside him, Selina starts thinking and then says:
"I have an idea!"
They all look at her—
Her eyes scan the group until they land on the shy woman with pink eyes.
Selina says:
"You, Koto-san, come here to me"
Koto hesitates first, but still walks towards her, and asks:
"Wh-What happened?"
Selina pulls her hand, making her lie down with Marshal. Koto gasps in shock. She shyly asks:
"S-Selina... What are you trying to do?"
Selina slowly whispers:
" He has a habit of cuddling pillows. Just let him... cuddle you, and then he will wake up"
Koto looks down, at the lady sitting on the chair, and asks:
"Is it... Okay, Shikiya-san?"
Shikiya chuckles a little and says:
"Heheheh, I don't know..."
Selina tries to comfort Koto:
"Don't worry, it'll be okay"
Koto nods.
The door of the room opens, and Marshal enters. Everyone in the room looks at him.
His hair is messy, his grey eyes dull with sleep, and his hand holds a bag of dumplings.
Selina in shock:
"What the..."
They all stand up paying attention to him, their heads down:
"Good day, Sir!"
Marshal looks at all of them, and takes a bite while speaking:
"May I know... what's going on here?!"
Selina tries to speak but he gives her the dumpling bag and says:
"I reached the bakery late. Most of them were already sold out, and I ate two, so only three are left"
Selina takes the bag. Marshal walks to sit on the chair, where Shikiya was sitting, and speaks:
"Any introductions?"
Shikiya steps forward with a calm voice:
"We are the Skyward Society—from the timeline known as Millennia."
Selina stands beside him, eating the dumplings. Marshal nods at the answer of Shikiya, and asks her:
"So what does The Skyward Society do?"
Shikiya replies:
"For countless ages, the Skyward have stood watch, protecting our timeline for millions of years. We do not gather lightly—only when the threads of fate demand it. This time, we stand reunited… because of the Gates of Tusatra"
Marshal frowns:
"Gates of... Tusatra? But why?"
Shikiya asks:
"Do you want me to explain the whole chain of events—what exactly happened, Sir?"
Marshal nods:
"Of course. Everyone, please take a seat so we can move ahead"
After they take a seat, Marshal snaps his fingers bringing a table in front of them with cups of tea and some sweets.
Selina's eyes widen:
"WAIT, you never did this magic for me."
Marshal pushes her onto his bed while saying:
"Can you please shut your mouth for a few minutes?"
The clumsy guy starts biting his nails while looking at Marshal, he thinks:
"Such otherworldly pressure in his words even if he is speaking so lightly—I feel like the voids are pulling me in"
Marshal looks into Shikiya's eyes for a second. She instantly looks away, thinking:
"Grey, of all colors. Nothing in them— yet in that emptiness I felt something vaster than Millennia itself."
Marshal chuckles saying:
"I forgot to ask your names, hehe... Mind if I ask now?!"
Shikiya clears her throat:
"Aritomo Shikiya—First Member of Skyward, currently I lead it"
The purple-eyed guy, sitting to the right of Shikiya speaks:
"Satoru Itsuro—Second Member of Skyward, Shikiya's right hand"
The jet-black haired guy, sitting beside Itsuro speaks:
"Aramitsu Daigo—I am a little clumsy but also the third member of this society"
Marshal looks at Koto.
She gasps shying:
"Ahh... Ummm! Koto Amane—the fourth member of Skyward Society"
Marshal's eyes move towards the guy with brown hair—the one who was watching outside the window.
He speaks with a smile:
"Akihisa Jirou—I am the fifth member and the right hand of Miss Koto"
Two ladies are sitting to Jirou's side. One with white hair and brown eyes, Shikiya speaks for her:
"Her name is Aya Tomoe, and she is our sixth member"
Shikiya looks at the lady sitting beside Aya with platinum blonde hair and says:
"Miyako Shiori, she is ranked as our seventh member and the right hand of Aya. A little insight, they both don't like to talk at all"
Itsuro continues after keeping his one hand on the shoulder of a guy with blue-green eyes—the one who was standing looking at the book collection:
"His name is Naoya Fumihiro, our eighth member. He likes reading books"
Naoya smiles and gestures towards the woman with hazel eyes—the one who was standing beside him before—and says:
"Sayuri Fuyuko—our final member, who also likes reading books. She is my right hand"
Marshal nods with a smile on his face:
"Hmm! Now that I know your names may I ask who formed The Skyward Society?"
Shikiya replies with a smile on her face:
"The ones you see before you are not merely members—they are the elders of the Skyward Society itself"
Marshal in excitement:
"Oh! Dang... Elders in my room? HOT AS HELL!"
Selina from behind:
"I'm bored why is no one talking about the main reason behind why you all came here!?"
Shikiya speaks:
"Okay, Time to get back to the point so I'd like to tell you what actually happened"
(Flashback—Shikiya Speaking)
The Skyward Society never had Nine Elders from the start, the number of Elders who made it... was ten.
As I revealed before, our Organization was made to protect the timeline named Millennia—Our home.
Every Elder devoted their lives and risked their lives countless times to protect and stay true to our main motive.
The tenth elder of this society was extremely intelligent, and more powerful than all of us. When he entered the battlefield... The victory was always ours.
He used to unite us and lead us against the toughest tasks of our lives.
BUT—
It wasn't part of his plan.
One day he knowingly committed a crime. Because of the law, he was imprisoned in the... SEALS OF FATE. This is where we fell apart.
Centuries after—
The Gates of Tusatra were opened and they broke the seals of fate away.
After a couple of days of research, Koto and Itsuro found out that our tenth Elder isn't here—he escaped.
He is free now—and we can no longer control him, nor even find him. He stands beyond our intelligence, beyond our powers… and dangerously close to your level.
The Seals of Fate shattered only because the Gates of Tusatra were opened for you. Make no mistake—we did not come here without reason.
The greatest truth I can give you is this:
The chain of events has naturally drawn you into this matter. We had to seek you.
Even without being a part of the Skyward or of Millennia, you remain the one known as the Supreme Entity of Nothingness—the only being who might help us either find him… or face him.
Our timeline is precious, and for millions of years, we have guarded it.
But his return is not a threat to Millennia alone—it is a shadow stretching over everyone.
His presence is like a time bomb: when it explodes, it will not vanish like a bomb, but linger, spreading ruin endlessly.
The choice is yours. You may join us—and seize control of how this unfolds…
So I ask you… Will you?
