Chapter 28 - Registration

The Danmachi world was a fantasy world. It had gods, and it also had all kinds of monsters. With the help of supernatural powers, many of the ingredients in this world came from monsters.

Therefore, even an ordinary chef could make a delicious meal with the meat of these monsters.

Emiya asked Tiona about it, and her answer proved this point.

"This is bone broth. We added some wild mushrooms, too."

Emiya asked, "It must be the bones of some high-level monster, right?"

Tiona replied, "Not really. The minotaur isn't a high-level monster. Of course, it must be quite difficult to deal with for you, a newbie. I went through a lot of trouble when I was a newbie."

Emiya nodded thoughtfully. Minotaurs were indeed one of the monsters in the dungeon, but they were not monsters that a level one adventurer could deal with.

He remembered that in the story, the protagonist Bell was chased by one of these monsters, which was how he met the Sword Princess, Ais Wallenstein. It was also how he gained his skill and began his path to becoming a hero.

Although the monsters in the dungeon would turn into dust after their magic stones were extracted,

Occasionally, some strong body parts would remain even after the magic stone was taken out. These were called drop items.

This was the source of the bone broth.

"Ais, Ais! Over here!"

Just as Emiya was thinking, Tiona, who was sitting across from him, suddenly stood up and waved her arms, yelling the name of the main female protagonist of Danmachi.

Emiya looked in the direction she was waving.

The first thing he saw was a beautiful head of golden hair.

It was long, straight golden hair that reached her waist and shined with a luster that could rival any gold treasure.

Her thin body was wrapped in light blue armor. Her delicate limbs, which extended from the armor, were beautiful to behold.

A silver chest plate with an insignia, which held back her ample chest, and a matching gauntlet and sword.

A girl-like baby face sat on top of her slender body.

And a pair of golden eyes.

This was Emiya's first meeting with the main female protagonist of Danmachi, Ais Wallenstein.

When she heard Tiona's call, Ais Wallenstein, who was looking for a seat, didn't hesitate. She took her breakfast and walked over, sitting next to Tiona.

"Good morning, Tiona."

"Good morning, Ais," Tiona enthusiastically hugged the cute Sword Princess and rubbed her cheek against Ais Wallenstein's.

Ais was expressionless but didn't stop her.

It was clear that she was used to Tiona's enthusiasm and didn't mind it.

"Is this the legendary newbie?" After putting down her breakfast plate, Ais sat down, and her gaze immediately fell on Emiya.

Emiya nodded. It seemed he had truly become a topic of conversation.

"Nice to meet you, Sword Princess. I'm Emiya."

"I'm Ais Wallenstein. It's a pleasure to meet you," the Sword Princess, Ais, said with a cold nod.

If it were someone else, they would probably think she was a cold person, but Emiya, who had read the story, knew that Ais Wallenstein, despite appearing cold and unreadable, was actually a natural airhead.

So Emiya didn't mind Ais's attitude.

Even if Ais was a cold person, Emiya wouldn't have minded.

After all, they weren't related in any way. It was completely understandable for her to be a bit distant.

Tiona said excitedly, "Ais, what are you doing today? Are you going into the dungeon?"

Ais nodded. "Yes."

"How about you come with us? Let's go into the dungeon together," Tiona enthusiastically invited her.

Ais looked at Emiya and asked, "Is he coming too?"

"Of course," Tiona nodded happily.

Ais was silent for a moment, then asked, "Will it be too hard for him?"

She and Tiona were both level five. The areas they went to could be deadly even for level three adventurers, let alone a level one newbie.

"Of course we won't go anywhere dangerous. We're mainly here to take care of newbie-kun today."

Ais shook her head and said, "I'll pass."

She wanted to become stronger and didn't have much time to take care of a newbie.

Not everyone got the same treatment as the protagonist.

Tiona was unhappy and didn't try to convince her further. She sighed helplessly and said, "Okay, that's a shame. Then next time. We'll go into the dungeon together next time, alright?"

Ais nodded, agreeing to it.

After breakfast, Tiona took Emiya and left Loki Familia, heading straight for the Guild.

The Guild was the Adventurer's Guild, an organization that managed and operated the dungeon. The founder was none other than the first god to descend, Ouranos!

In Greek mythology, he was the first king of the gods and also Zeus's grandfather.

But in this world, their relationship seemed to be different from grandfather and grandson.

Anyway, after Ouranos descended, he established the Adventurer's Guild. Well... to be more accurate, he didn't exactly establish it.

In reality, the dungeon already existed before the gods descended.

Although it was not as large as it was now, a city had already been established on top of the labyrinth, and a predecessor to the Guild supposedly already existed at that time.

Later, Ouranos consolidated the predecessor of the Guild and established the current Adventurer's Guild to manage and serve adventurers. Nowadays, every adventurer had to register with the Guild before entering the dungeon for uniform management.

Emiya was no exception.

After passing through the entrance of the Guild's headquarters, Tiona and Emiya entered the spacious lobby.

With Tiona's guidance, Emiya went to a window to register.

The female clerk who registered Emiya was very beautiful. She had pointed ears and clear, emerald-green eyes, and her brown, shoulder-length hair had a lustrous shine.

Her beautiful features were not as sharp and perfect as an elf's but had a more mellow and natural feel to them. Her slender figure looked great in the Guild's black suit and trousers.

Emiya looked at the amiable young lady who had the poise of a professional woman. He felt like she looked familiar and was probably a character from the story.

When he thought about the characters he knew who would work at a Guild window,Emiya immediately recognized her.

It was Eina Tulle, not only a clerk at the window but also an adventurer adviser, and she should have also been the protagonist Bell's adventurer adviser.

Of course, because she was friendly, considerate, and had a sweet face, she was very popular among male adventurers.
