The first to be nominated was Namikaze Minato by Jiraya.
"I nominate Minato for the candidacy, I'll give all of my support to him so you can count me out of the election.
The second to be nominated was Orochimaru who was supported by Danzo.
"I nominate Orochimaru. He has the most merits from the younger generation."
While Orochimaru and Minato were the main contenders that didn't mean there were no other people nominated.
Fugaku Uchiha for example nominated himself, but due to the Uchiha being unpopular he didn't have much of a chance.
While the last person if she actually wanted the position would easily claim the position. That is Tsunade Senju.
Even though she wasn't there. Many Clan leaders and department heads nominated her to be the 4 hokage. But this wasn't due to them expecting Tsunade to become the hokage, no it was to show the nominal support those clans had to the Senjus.
Essentially they were the neutral party.
But this didn't mean they were not supporting either party.
In fact they were supporting Minato to the position.
While the meeting between high ranking members of Konoha were organizing the jonin vote for the fourth hokage.
Yujiro was too busy practicing hand seals. And training his body. To pay attention to the fact that the election for the fourth hokage started. After all, he already knew who was going to become the fourth hokage.
While he had estimated for the hand seal practice to take a whole two months. In just over a month he had mastered most hand seals.

The fourth hokage inauguration ceremony was held.
Yujiro even went to briefly watch it before getting back to his routine.
While he trained and went through the family education. He also encouraged the five of his friends to go look in the library and start practicing hand seals for the future.
But undoubtedly his training had him busy almost everyday but the increase in strength was gratifying for him.
His chakra increased by almost 80%,
While he had already learned how to use the three earth style jutsus.
The Rock shield jutsu took him 9 days of practice to learn, the Rock throw jutsu took him 7, while the earth sliding jutsu took him 12 days.
Undoubtedly the most surprising was the earth sliding jutsu.
But after looking back on the jitsu, it became obvious in retrospect that the earth sliding jitsu was the most complicated one of them all.
But his training would not come to a stop due to the fact that he had mastered the three earth release jutsus.
Next it was time to pick the next jutsus.
'Although I checked all of the E rank jutsus and checked a couple of D rank jutsus, there is one jutsu I want to learn even more than the earth release jutsus.
Now I'll have to see if it's even here.'
After looking for the jutsu for almost 24 minutes he finally found it.
'The body flickers jutsu. Even if I master many of these D rank earth release jutsus, at most they will be practice and will eventually be replaced by more advanced jutsus.
But the body flicker is different, even if I become an S rank ninja I will still be using this.'
After opening the scroll and reading through the introduction he became serious.
'I see so the body flicker jutsu is not a jitsu that needs to be spammed like I thought, instead if I want to go for a long distance body flicker I just need good enough Chakra control and physique, though the main demand is on the chakra control.
And if you are proficient enough in this you can change directions quite freely, though the tunnel vision is described to be a huge challenge in this.
It's probably why only people who reliably used this in combat were Shisui and Minato, since they have good reaction speed, though there are probably others, but they simply weren't mentioned in the series.'
While the clan training is useful it's quite annoying that they fill the first half of the lectures with quite useless information, family loyalty, manners and etiquette.
But they probably have a reason for it since the proper ninja training will be introduced in the academy.
Even though I have been in the clan training for over 3 months we still haven't been taught the basics of being a ninja, like stealth but it doesn't matter for now.
Even though I will need to learn the three body jutsus, I can just start working on them when I start the ninja academy.
But the body flicker jutsu. I wonder if I will be able to master it without needing hand seals. If I can, my mobility will greatly increase, and with the aid of my Byakugan I will be able to avoid extreme tunnel vision.
Though I will need to start using the three capabilities of the Byakugan at the same time. Though it will eat up more of my chakra in training, it should quickly increase the capabilities of the Byakugan.
Though not in basic capabilities after all, those are more so affected by my chakra reserves rather than my mastery of the Byakugan.'
Like this he started to train the Byakugan extra hard, while starting to practice the body flicker jutsu.
