Yujiro was training diligently for a whole month, but this training rhythm was interrupted when a change was made to the clan training.
Although this change was a positive change for Yujiro it did eat to another portion of his training and this was the earth affinity training.
This was due to the fact that the taijutsu portion of the training took another 2 hours in addition to the 4 hours in the afternoon.
So his earth affinity training was cut in half.
But as a result the practical taijutsu training began. And this was what Yujiro was waiting for.
The teachers started to organize the kids to fight with the teachers
Those who did well got a break of 10 minutes before they would have to fight again.
And those who lost would need to do punishment training for those 10 before getting their own 10 minutes of rest.
As a result the teachers really pushed the students to their limits.
But in this training Yujiro really stood out.
Not only due to the fact that he did really well in every spar, but also because even when he could rest for those 10 minutes, he would still do the punishment training.
As a result he was started to be used as a comparison for others.
This in turn forced others to train much harder.
But after this change to his schedule started he rearranged his training time.
He had to cut back on training his katas since the amount of practical training increased during classes, and instead increased the time he uses to train body flicker jutsu.
This routine was completely changed once again after 2 months, though the taijutsu section didn't change, but the theoretical two hours were changed from learning knowledge to the teachers guiding on how to awaken the Byakugan.
But to the surprise of the teachers two students could already use the Byakugan.
So for them private teaching was arranged for them.
What surprised Yujiro was that another had awakened the Byakugan.
So when he asked how he had awakened the Byakugan. The boy replied that he had guidance from his parents to awaken it.
When he got the answer Yujiro was surprised. After all they were told by the teachers that it was not supported to help guide the awakening of the Byakugan too young, because this can cause complications.
Af for what these complications are. The first one is probably the most threatening thing for bloodline clans. Bloodline sickness can take many forms. For example the Byakugan can degrade to useless eyes, the body can start to weaken or even both. The risk of getting these bloodline sickness go up terribly if the bloodline is awakened before the age of 4. Though this information is only reliable in the Hyuga clan.
Though Yujiro got to skip the awakening of the Byakugan. He still requested for the teachers to teach how it is done.
They were a bit reserved about this but when thinking that he was the number 1 student both in theory and practice, they let it go.
While the practice was going on, Yujiro heavily benefitted from the new methods used by the Hyuga clan.
But what surprised him a lot was the Byakugan awakening method of the Hyuga clan.
But as he adopted these new methods, he had to rearrange his schedule. For one the training of the Byakugan he did before sleep had to be switched to the class, but in return he does the chakra affinity training at evening before sleeping, and since it doesn't cost a lot of chakra he actually recovers it while training.
'Hmm even though it is called the awakening method of the Byakugan it's not really just one method.
It's divided into two parts. The first method and the primary method is that the adults just straight up use chakra to help with the awakening of the eyes, this usually takes multiple hours for a couple of days. But when this doesn't work, the student needs to hope that he will have more success with the second method.
That method is to circulate chakra in a weird way in the body, the reason they need to pray this method works is because its rate of awakening the eyes is about 7% of those people who failed to awaken their Byakugan.
And in total over 60% of the ninjas in the clan awaken their Byakugan with the first method.
And this 7% is still the reason why the Hyuga clan still teaches this method even though it takes so much chakra to use.
An average genin can only use this method for a couple of minutes before running out of chakra.
As for why this method helps with the awakening of the Byakugan, the Hyuga clan has tried to research it but has failed.
After failing to research it in their own family, the Hyugas had asked Tsunade to research it, but unfortunately for the Hyugas, she left the village after the third great ninja war.
So the research on the method was permanently suspended.
Hmm since it works I should try and do it before I go to sleep. After all, my stamina fully recovers overnight and I always have at least a third of my chakra unused before bed.
And I have a feeling this will be a way for me to break free from my shackles.
But while the second method is already available for me, I shouldn't ignore the first method, even though I was taught the method to stimulate my eyes. Without the teacher's chakra it doesn't feel like it's doing anything.
So it's quite probable that the adults are hiding something.
I wonder if I dig up the whole section about Byakugan, I will be able to find it.
And my current training which is supposed to stop in about 4 months, but it's going to get interrupted halfway
After all, it's about time for the Nine Tails rampage. So i don't really have that much time.
But still...'
