The house looked very worn down. The painting on the wall was coming down. The weeds were seeping everywhere. I had to take a deep breath to go inside the house. The inside was the same. The sofa was torn down and the legs of the dining table was uneven. Can someone even live in a place like this?
This place felt like "Garbage!". I said that out loud.....That must have sounded quite rude. I quickly got ready to apologize. Alex looked at me with astonishment and burst out with a loud laughter " I think so too, we are partners in crimes now so you never have to apologize to me, lets get to know each other slowly from now on and please don't hold back anymore".
I felt a bit relieved from his words. I urged him to let me help clean this messy place. We tried our best to clean this place up. I tried sewing the sofa covers that were torn. Alex plucked out the weeds and tried to fix the broken chairs and the table.
Now the house looked a bit better from before. I think it can be considered a living place right now. We looked at each other with pride. I was very hungry so I decided to make dinner. There was only a little bit of left over bread left and some vegetable so I could only whip up some sandwiches. I made some for Alex too.
Alex really seem to like it "I have never tasted something this delicious before". It is only a sandwich though... Did he never have a proper meal? That is a little sad.
When we were eating our meal, we heard a knock on the door. Alex went over to open the door and brought someone inside the house with a big smile on his face.
"Let me introduce you" he said that with a cute voice.
