Manu:"Mattias don't move till I tell you too or I will feed to to it myself" Mattias shocked by this could only watch as the horror neared and when it was about to crash him under its feet Manu flew to its ear and with a clap he destroyed destroying its inner organs in one hit landed back down to mattias who was about to run the remains of the horse horror Mattias did want to even ask why at this point. Manu landed beside its carcass and crouched down tearing at one of its massive legs
Mattias knew he at ate horrors but he could only feel disgust:"You… eat that?"
Manu didn't look up:"Of course,PVE doesn't last forever If we don't eat it now it will vanish" he held a chunk of flesh to Mattias
Mattias swallowed hard "I can't eat that so you can just eat it" looking to the black plains stretching around them mountains in the distance but he noticed the land itself had these cracks that are glowing "That energy you just mentioned. PVE is that what is coming out of this cracks"
Manu smirked, finally tossing aside the chunk of the horror's leg. "Well yeah it's full name is Primordial Void Energy That's what makes horrors well horrors what gives them strength, longevity You can think of it as the source code of this place that's why you see it ever where on the ground but don't get it mixed up that completely different from what I just eat from that horsy there
Mattias confused :"what's the difference?"
Manu rhopping over the corpse back and forth said:"Everything in the Primordial Void terrain and the air is made out of asioPrimordial void energy
And the creatures like me are made of Mosiprimordial void energy either way half breed. You're green."
Mattias tilted his head :"Green….is that supposed to be insulting?
"Yes but it's well deserved " he said with a grin"But I wont tell you why You'll understand have to learn for yourself"
Mattias pressed his palms on his head "what are you a kid"
Manu mimicked Mattias and also passed his palm on his head then said "what are you a kid" after that he just laughed at him
Mattias looking at him just sighed :"anyways tell me more about PVE since not like we have anything else to do"
Manu:"I will bless you with my precious information as I already said PVE as multiple forms it can be in you, out side of you but let me guess you want to learn how I killed that horse in one hit and killed and chained you earlier"
Mattias:"yes"
Manu:"well even if I told you it's impossible for you to be able to use it since what I use was PVE manipulation and as to why you can't use it you're made of something that's not PVE well partly which is also why you survived the that killing Your body isn't PVE compatible It can't be destroyed the normal way but that doesn't mean you're safe."
Mattias swallowed hard as Manu's words sinking in. "So I can't die cause this place is rejecting my existence"
"Exactly," Manu said kicking the corpse of the horse "You're immortal in the sense but also because that body of yours won't won't give up its soul, but that doesn't mean you have some broken ability because the longer you linger the closer something truly eldritch will get interested in you and if that happens your immortality is useless so Your immortality only buys you a head start."
Mattias exhaled slowly, glancing at the distant horizon. "And all I can do is run? Just like that?"
Manu's grin twisted as he flexed his fingers PVE rippling visibly around them. "Not exactly That's the point. I said you couldn't use PVE because you're not completely horror but that only applies if ...."
They started to walk towards the mountains in the distance
Mattias stayed quiet for a while as he thought of what Manu said:"How… how do you…."
The sky above them flickered with a burning silver glow signaling that a PVE storm was going to hit the area Manu paused as his fingers started twitching
"There is Cave ahead," he murmured pointing toward a jagged opening in a valley "We are going to hide there we will move up the mountain after the storm."
Mattias nodded, following silently the weight of all he had learned pressing down on him Immortal or not this place was nothing like he had experienced so far
As they entered the cave Manu sat down against the wall crossing his legs and gnawing on a leftover chunk of the horse horror Mattias hesitant at the entrance looking at the storm take from slowly "And… I can learn to manipulate this… PVE eventually"
Manu looked at him with a sharp, calculating grin. "Eventually. But not today. Tomorrow just don't go getting ahead of yourself half breed."
