Manu stretches his wings, letting out a yawn "Half breed what are you doing just staring at me"he said, while looking at Mattias
Mattias just cracked his neck as he looked at Manu. "Nothing just a dangerous creature that I am following"
"Don't you have a way with words"Manu said jumping up "Well the storm seem to have gone now so time to climb up the mountain" he gestured up the cave wall
Mattias just staring :"you have been saying we are going up the mountain but every time I ask you don't answer so again why are we going up the mountain"
"You want to know" Manu clarified then flexed his fingers "okay I will tell you if you answer this what happens when a horror have a surplus of PVE?"
Mattias sighed seeing that this was a trick question "they explode?"
"Nope since you failed I won't tell you"Manu said grinning
Mattias sighed again "of course you won't"
"We played a fair game you just didn't know the answer"Manu said with a smirk as he walked out of the cave
As both of them stood out side Mattias saw the storm made the area full of that PVE this
Manu pointing down to a horror that got caught in the storm filling it with PVE "look there"
As Mattias looked at it he that it was screaming in pain "what is happening to it?"
Manu grinning "it's undergoing metamorphosis"
Mattias confused stared at it"what do you mean metamorphosis is it going to end a cacoon?"
Manu "something like that when I asked you what happens when a horror has a surplus of PVE the answer was the horror will under go an evolution giving it consciousness"
Mattias shocked "your telling me that thing there is going to gain consciousness now"
Manu grinning "well yes that is what I mean by metamorphosis"
As the two watched the horror was rapped in a cacoon of PVE
Manu bored turned up "and since you were so curious there are more like it up there "
Mattias confused" then why are we going up"
Manu smirking began climbing Mattias looking at the horror one last time before climbing after him
cracks split into the mountainside making it alike easy to climb but Mattias still stumbled over the uneven sides
"Watch your step halfbreed," Manu called back climbing on an edge
Mattias climbed to the edge after a short while "you better have a damn good reason for making us come like this"
Manu smirked. "Of course I do just don't follow am not waiting for you to climb up again"He began climbing again
Mattias swallowed as he saw the distance they still had to climb "hey why don't you just fly"
"Just shut it and climb" Manu said
They moved upwards Mattias couldn't help but look at the view of the place no matter what he thought it was breath taking occasional glance behind him
After several minutes, Manu climbed to another edge and sat there to catch his breath"hey half breed you still there"
He looked down to see Mattias still climbing after a few more minutes Mattias reached the edge "yea am still not done yet" he got on the edge and sat there "you better have a good reason you don't want to just fly up there"
Manu looking up:"are you blind didn't you see the storm that just happened I would get stuck out of the sky"
Mattias exhaled sharply, catching his breath "and this is any better"
"You can jump if you don't like it"Manu said, flexing his fingers as he got up to continue climbing"this time I am waiting for you so if you can keep up just jump down"He coated his hands in PVE and began propelling himself up using the cracks as grips.
Mattias muttered something under his breath but continued climbing
The climb stretched as Mattias getting more and more tired
Manu occasionally stopped, crouching to the side of the wall as he looked down to see how far Mattias has climbed.
Finally, after what felt like hours Manu made it to the top of the mountain
"Never thought I be come back here….Hoxton," he said quietly
Mattias struggled to climb as the mountain seemed to get longer the longer he continued
Finding an edge he stopped at it looking up the mountain which seemed to go on for ever
Mattias breathing heavy"that bastard how the hell am I supposed to get to the top at this rate"
Mattias let out a long sigh as he got up to climb again remembering what manu did he tried controlling the Black goo but he couldn't focus with he was
"Ahhhh damnit" Mattias yelled, "You damn bastard"
The sky above flickered faintly with a silver glow meaning a PVE storm was coming Mattias feeling genuine fear at the Idea of getting put in one of those cacoons finally got the black goo to work
"Took you long enough"Mattias' arms were covered by the black goo
Mattias looked up, a small grin on his face. "You just wait for me bastard" he began to mimic Manu is actions and propel himself up using the cracks as a grip.
Mattias frowned as he knew he won't be able to out run the PVE storm
(Thinking to himself: faster I need to go faster)
