Chapter 23 - CHAPTER - 23 THE GRAVEYARD CHALLENGE

The moment the cloak lifted, the sight took Snehwal's breath away. A figure growled angrily, "My name is Velika, fool!" Snehwal immediately became alert. He touched the talisman hanging around his neck, and at that moment, light burst forth from it. A bow appeared in his hands. As he drew the string, a faint green energy arrow formed—created from his own energy.

Standing before him was Velika—a mysterious and deadly beauty. Her eyes were as deep as night, her lips a soft pink, and a piercing smile adorned her sharp face. Her long black hair flowed like a dark river. Her body was alluring and flexible—slender waist, shapely bust, and long legs that were the perfect blend of strength and femininity. She wore a black leather bra-like top, decorated with golden edges, the deep neckline emphasizing her curves in a dangerously tempting way. Her skirt was cut high on one side, revealing the glimmering skin of her thigh. Her boots reached up to her thighs, decorated with golden patterns, making every step she took both seductive and lethal.

She smiled and said, "A chick… and from the second stage… and look, standing before the fourth stage."

Her sword gleamed silver as she raised it, her eyes fixed on her enemy, ready to strike at any moment. She looked toward her sister, Arshiana, who was equally attractive and dangerous. Arshiana's brown, wavy hair cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall. Her eyes were a deep, mysterious forest green. Her shapely bust and toned waist were hugged tightly by a dark green top, adorned with golden floral patterns that enhanced her beauty and wildness. Her skirt was cut on both sides, revealing her muscular, gleaming legs. Her knee-high green boots made every movement even more enticing and dangerous.

She smiled and said, "Today we've got a very smooth prey."

Snehwal released the string of his bow. He didn't want to, but it slipped accidentally. In that moment, only one thought flashed through his mind: "A huge mistake has been made."

The energy arrow shot forth like lightning, striking Velika's chest. There was a powerful explosion—she was thrown back, but the strong armor hidden beneath her clothing blocked the blow. Velika was unharmed, but fury flared across her face.

"Fool!" she growled.

In an instant, both sisters lunged at Snehwal. Their swords cut through the air, silver blades gleaming in the moonlight. Their slitted skirts and flowing hair whipped through the air, making the battle resemble a deadly dance. The clash of the bow and swords echoed loudly. The force of the strikes made the ground tremble. One blow rocked the bow. The sisters' strength was so immense that the bow began to splinter.

Snehwal's grip slipped, and in the next moment, he fell to his knees. His breaths were heavy, yet his eyes still burned—not with defeat, but with a blazing fire…

Both sisters locked sharp gazes at each other, and Velika said in a deep, cold voice, "Let's bury him right here in this cemetery… only then will I find true peace."

Arshiyana glanced at Snehwal with a faint, dangerous smile and said, "Yes, sister, this is the most effective way."

Velika leaned forward, raising her sword to strike at Snehwal's neck.

Seeing this perilous moment and sensing the sword coming toward him, Snehwal tightly grasped the talisman. At that very moment, the sword appeared in his hand—it was Arjun's ancient, powerful sword.

The swords clashed with a resonating sound. Snehwal's grip weakened, and the sword slipped from his hand, falling far away. Feeling incomplete, a flicker of anger surged within him, and he stood up again.

But Arshiyana struck mercilessly. Snehwal had to step back, maintaining his balance to defend himself. Still, Velika's sword grazed him, leaving a slight cut on his black garment—a warning despite his protection.

In that moment, he fully realized—he was trapped. No way out, no escape.

Both sisters advanced toward him, channeling dark energy through their swords and striking from a distance with a jolt.

For Snehwal, time seemed to stop; only one image appeared in his eyes—Lili. Not anyone else from the earth. Her memory, her concern, and his longing—all of it gripped his heart amidst the dreadful crisis…

He muttered—"I couldn't take the dead body, instead I myself became the dead body."

At that very moment, a fierce and blinding flash of lightning spread across the sky, as if the earth and the heavens were roaring together. Both sisters' eyes widened with fear and terror, their faces turning pale.

"Thunderstrike!"

As soon as the word was uttered, lightning struck directly upon the two sisters. They immediately created spheres of energy around themselves, but even those shattered before the overwhelming force. Falling to the ground, their bodies trembled with jolts, and due to the injuries, they lay motionless, wounded.

Snehwal slowly turned his neck back, scanned all around, and holding his breath, said—"Who saved me? Who is… this power from?"

In that moment, a strange sense of awe and a light shiver ran through him, as if a streak of light had appeared in the darkness.
