Grey used Dash and rushed towards the beast. It was still recovering when Grey jumped forward. His right arm arched back, with aura covering his fist, he punched forward, hitting right on the beast's face, stomping it down on the ground as dust flew around.

The beast roared in anger, its tail whipped towards Grey, trying to strike him down, but he had already moved away. Without giving it time to recover, Grey ran forward, he jumped up on the wall. Bending his left leg, adding tension, he leaped high in the air, his legs acting like a spring.
Grey was right on top of the beast's head, it was growling, unaware of Grey's presence on top. Grey moved his right leg up straight, knee unbend, his thigh almost touching his belly. Aura gathered on the heel of his right foot. He then swung his leg downward, like an axe falling on the log of wood.
ROOOAARRRRRR!!!
The beast screamed in pain as Grey's heel sliced through its neck. Blood spurted out like a fountain. The beast's body fell with a thud. Its head attached to the body just at the edge with a thin membrane, body almost separated into two. With a last whimper, its body went limp, lying in a pool of blood.

"It wasn't that hard? I thought I'd have to fight for survival here." Grey though, standing still, looking at the limp body of the beast lying on the floor. The body then started turning into dust, leaving the beast core and a skill stone.
Grey picked up the stones and checked the skill stone.

Grey couldn't believe that such a powerful passive skill stone had dropped from a low level scourge class. He guessed that this skill stone was a result of devouring a human with this skill.
"Not a chance I'm selling this!" He channeled his aura as the silver-grey aura of his seeped inside the skill stone. When the rune on the skill stone glowed bright, he immediately broke it into pieces within his fist. Red strands of glowing energy flowed out of his fist, moving towards his head and seeped through the temples inside.

A wide smile spread on his face when the notification popped up. He then opened his character interface to check the gains from this expedition.

Grey was about to use his first SSS+ rank skill to combine all the punch and kick skills to evolve into one higher skill. But just then, his eyes fell on a small amber of black fire at the edge of the wall, released from the fireball of the beast.
The amber of black fire was flickering because of wind. What confused him was that, they was no way for winds to blow that hard inside the cramped, dark space of the cave. Curious, Grey moved towards it to check.
When he reached near the amber of fire, Grey saw a small hole in the wall. Whizzing sounds of wind blowing in was coming from the hole and a bright light could be seen on the other end.
"Is there probably a hidden chamber here?" Grey thought. He got skeptical since there was nothing like this in the game. All those years, not a single player had found any hidden room inside the boss chamber.
Curiosity got to him as he covered his fists with aura and moved in front of the wall.
"Gattling jabs!" Grey activated the skill as 20 aura punches flew towards the wall. Cracks appeared as a web of fissures spread on the grotto wall.
BOOM!! CRASH!! RATTLE!!
Dust flew around as the huge rock boulders of the wall crumbled and fell on the floor. Intense light came from the other side. Grey had to close his eyes shut in pain, unable to endure that intense light falling on his eyes.
He tried to opened his eyes, his vision still blurry, the eyes slowly adjusting to the light. When his eyes opened completely, and vision restored, he was shocked to see the scene in front of him.
Another circular room similar to the boss one appeared on the other side. There was a rock stoup rested upon a cylindrical pillar at the center of the chamber. Inside it was a sparkling bright water which was the source of the intense light. The glowing bright water was falling in drops from the stalactite right above the stoup, collecting into it up to the brim.
Grey moved inside. when he reached near the stoup, he activated his eyes of revelation.
