Ion: Hellooooo Buddyfight Fans. Ion & Takokichi here, and we're here to announce that the Helping Hands Buddy Cup is officially underway.
Tako: What's the Buddy Cup, you ask? Every year, a buddyfight tournament is held to crown a champion.
Ion: The tournament consists of 16 fighters at first. But as you can see, 8 fighters have come out as winners and are moving on to the best 8.
Tako: And the first match shall be broadcast later today. Until then, stay tuned for more updates.

While the tournament goes on, Hou, Ranma, and the rest of their class are cleaning classroom windows.
Hou: Okay, I know we have a tournament to focus on, but why do we have to clean windows for the moment?
Ranma: No Idea. I'm pretty sure the teachers just wants us to do yard work or something.
Hou: How is this yard work?
Ranma: It's an expression, dude. Like, do we even get paid to do this? Nope.
Hou: Fair enough. Aside from that, congrats on reaching the Best 8.
Ranma: You too. I'm surprised I'm able to make it this far. (Realizes) Oh, I need some more water.

As Hou is about to get the bucket of water, someone grabs the bucket first and sprays the water at him. Hou really wet as his clothes and his hair are ruined. And Ranma's surprised.
Hou: HEY!!!

Hou: {Angry} Jasraj !!! What's wrong with you?
Jasraj: You deserve it, loser. That's what you get for requesting a deletion on my channel.
Ranma: (Comes in and checks on him) Hou, you okay?
Hou: Yeah.
Ranma: Well, for the record, Jasraj, you deserve it. You and your stupid friend impersonated us and nearly got us banned. So, of course, we have to send a deletion request.
Jasraj: Whatever. Because of you, I have a temporary ban on my channel. You don't deserve to be paltubers. You both are nothing but losers.

5 minutes later, the three went to the school's card shop and bought some new packs. The three sit on a school bench and have a look at what cards they got.

Jasraj: Oh yeah, I just got the new hockey 3000. This thing really costs over a hundred bucks.
Ranma: {Annoyed} Oh great...
Masato: I didn't even know he plays Hockey.
Jasraj later sits on a bench and works on his deck.
Jasraj: Hehe, I even stole the tournament's layout, and now I know who I'm up against. But first, I'm going to work on my deck.

Later, the tournament starts again. At the buddyfight stage, it's currently dark. Suddenly, spotlights shine upon the 8 fighters. Ion then announces them.
Ion: Masato Rikuo. Jasraj Law. Light Kurouzu. Mamoru Sekai. Teng Hou Ren. Ranma Kakogawa. Daryl Hoshino. And Finally, Lilah Elizabeth.
Tako: Ready or not. Here's the tournament bracket. (Clicks a button)
The tournament bracket is shown on a screen. It shows that Masato will be facing Jasraj, Hou facing Ranma, Daryl facing Lilah, and Light facing Mamoru.
Ion: And the first match features...
The tournament bracket zooms in and focuses on.
Ion: It's Masato Rikuo fighting against Jasraj Law.
Jasraj: I never thought I'd be facing you. (Faces Masato) Didn't I say I would humiliate whoever faces me? Well, it's going to be you.
Masato: [That is not what he said. And what do you mean he never thought? But sure, let's see what he's got.] We'll see about that.
Jasraj: Confident, Are We?
Ion: Now that the first match is announced, both fighters, please luminize.
Masato: The linked spiral is our chain of bonds. Luminize. Spiral Linkdragon Order.
Jasraj: Crush all of who stood in my way. For they shall kneel before absolute fists. Luminize. Brawlers Millenia.
Ion & Tako: Buddy....FIGHT.
Both: Raise the Flag.
Writer Update: Jasraj shares the same buddy as Jordan in Path To Liberation. Except the Brawlzeus Jordan has is just a mere copy of the original Brawlzeus.
Jasraj: Danger World.
Masato: Ancient World.
Ion: The first move goes to Jasraj.
Jasraj: Draw. Charge & Draw. Crazed Warfficer, Gutsares to the right. Bash Sage, Bashermes to the left.
Both Monsters are summoned.
Jasraj: Time for a good bashing. Gutsares. Attack the fighter.
Gutsares: Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora. (Punches Masato)
Masato: (Hit) Dah...
Masato loses 2 life points.
Jasraj: Plunder !!!
Jasraj gains one life.
Ion: Oh my. Jasraj just gained a life after his monster attacked. That's new.
Jasraj: Hahaha. You like that, it's called Plunder. I take away my opponent's resources. For example in Gutsare's case, if he successfully deals damage or destroy a monster, I gain 1 life.
Hou: So the more he attacks, the more resources he gains while stealing.
Ranma: Cheap trick. Wait, where's Daryl?

Masato: Tempest, Shokushi to the left.
Shokushi: I'm ready to rumble.
Masato: I buddycall Thunderaxe Agito the right.
Agito: (Appears) We are the Linkdragon Order. Who swore an oath to help and protect Masato.
Shokushi & Jisen: Yeah.
Masato: Equip. Order's Axe, Wildaxe. (Equips Item) And I cast Dragon Emperor Legend.
Ion: Masato just called his allies and equipped his item while increasing his resources.
Masato: Joy, Sadness and Strength. Now's the time to unite as one.
All: DRAGON SHARE!!!
All of Masato's cards glow.
Ion: There it is. Masato's specialty, Dragon Share.
Masato: Agito.
Agito: Leave it to me. You're about to feel what it's like to be crushed by power. (Attacks)
Jasraj: Cast. Invincible Knuckle. (Pays 1 gauge)
A purple giant fist appears and knocks Agito back to Masato.
Agito & Masato: OWWW!!!
Ion: Whoa, Agito just got knocked back.
Jasraj: Hahaha. It not only nullifies an attack, but it also deals one damage to you, and I gain one life.
Agito: Ergh..(gets back up) No worries, Masato. I have a double attack. (Attacks)
Jasraj: Cast again. Invincible Knuckle.
Agito gets knocked back again.
Ion: And Jasraj just stole one life from him.
Jasraj: Come On Come On. Is that all you got? (Laughs loud)
30 seconds later, Jasraj is crying???
Jasraj: WHY????
Jasraj's Life becomes 3 life all of a sudden???
Ion: Masato just launched a barrage of attacks and just drained his opponent's life down to 3. WOW. The Ace of Sports is on FIRE.
Linkdragon Order & Masato: Nice. Linkdragon Order. Nice Linkdragon Order. Yeah.
Masato: My turn is now over.
Masato's Stats: 9L, 3G, 3H
Jasraj's Stats: 3L, 1G, 3H
Ion: As they say, arrogance leads to downfall. Thus, Jasraj just received some karma and Masato just had the last laugh. But now it's Jasraj's turn. Let's see what he does.
Jasraj: So you think you're better than me? FINE. Draw. Charge & Draw. Cast. Deep Qigong of the Hungry Wolf. I gain 9 life all at once.
Masato: WHAT?
Jasraj: Now, outcomes the fun part. I'm going to do this.
Suddenly, Masato's gauge is stolen.
Masato: What?
Jasraj: I'm going to pay this gauge. And equip. Skygod Jacket. (Wears a new jacket) Hehe, doesn't it look cool? But I'm not done yet, I'm going to steal your gauge even more. And your life points too.
Masato: What?
Jasraj: I pay one of the opponent's life...and gauge...and I take one of their monsters with him.
A Massive Arm comes out of nowhere and just grabs Jisen.
Jisen: Sorry, Masato...(Destroyed)
Masato: JISEN!!!
Jasraj: Topfist Vainglory, Brawlzeus. BUDDYCALL TO THE RIGHT.
Gutsares is sent to the dropzone.
Brawlzeus: (Appears) OH YEAH. Allow me to show you. What a real brawl looks like.
Ion: There it is. Jasraj's Buddy. Topfist Vainglory, Brawlzeus.
Hou: Okay that's just playing dirty.
Garga: Yes. When it comes to using cards, they should use their own instead of stealing.
Jasraj: Brawlzeus. Attack the fighter.
Brawlzeus: (Charges) Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora. (Punches) ORA.
Masato receives 2 damage.
Jasraj: Plunder !!!
Jasraj deals 2 more damage and gain 2 life.
Bashermes: I still have an attack as well. (Bats Him)
Masato lose one gauge while taking more damage.
Jasraj: Here's to BULLYING. (Attacks)
Hou & Ranma: MASATO!!!
Masato: Cast. Undying Linkdragon Order. (Gains 3 life)
Ion: Masato just blocked It.
Jasraj: Tch. My turn is over. Looks like the game is mine. Cause I have 13 LIFE!!!
Masato: Even if you do have the advantage, I will still win. Draw. Charge & Draw.
Masato looks at what he draws and smiles.
Masato: I pay 2 gauge, place Agito and Shokushi to the soul, along with three Kaina and one Jisen. Spiral Thunderaxe, King Agito to the Center !!!
Golden Thunder flashes across the field.
King Agito: (Appears) Rarrgh. Incredible power flows within me.
Ion: There it is. King Agito. Masato's Trump Card!!!
King Agito: Here I go. Spiral Dragon Share !!!
King Agito powers up once more.
Masato: King Agito. Attack the fighter.
King Agito: Okay. (Attacks)
Jasraj receives 5 damage because of three Kaina's Dragon Share.
King Agito: Double attack.
Another 5 damage.
Masato: Wild Axe. (Attacks)
Another 2 damage.
Ion: Unbelievable. Masato dealt a total of 12 damage in One Turn. But Wait, he has no attacks left. And he has no gauge left. Is this the end for the Ace of Sports?
Jasraj: Hahaha. Serves you right. If you hadn't called King Agito earlier, maybe you still have a chance. It's all thanks to my plunder that you become like this. NOW. End your turn.
Masato: Who says I'm ending my turn here. Final Phase.
All: WHAT?
Masato: Allow me to show you my new power. Cast. Thunder Dragon Tornado.
Suddenly, King Agito spikes and yellow Lightning sparks around him. Masato suddenly wields two golden Axes and a massive yellow tornado burst through the stage. Jasraj braces himself.
Masato: Impact. Thunder Dragon Tornado!!!
The Tornado slashes Jasraj here and there and...Finally, Jasraj's flag is null and void.
Ion: GAME END. Winner. Masato Rikuo.
Masato: For Share !!!
Ion: But I don't understand. He has no gauge. So how can he cast an impact?
Masato: If Spiral Dragon Share is activated. In other words, if King Agito is on the field. I can cast the impact without using any gauge. It deals 4 damage. Unlockable and not reducible.
Hou watches this in stunned silence for a moment. He remembers earlier when Masato was excited about the new card he got. He smiles afterward.

Teacher: Someone reported you, saying you stole the Tournament Layout. Followed by bullying another competitor before the match, you're in big trouble, mister.
Jasraj: {Afraid} What....I....
Masato: Serves him right.
Hou: You said it. If anything, this happened.
Flashback...
Hou: When me & Ranma finished cleaning, we went to our lockers to grab our wallets. But...
Ranma: We also spot the latter nearby, going into the staff office. When we noticed he stole the tournament layout, we secretly recorded everything.
Hou: After that, we reported that to the teachers and thus decided that when the match is over, he will get punished via disqualification.

Garga: So even if Masato loses, he would still get disqualified.

Ranma: Your opponent's life points must be four or less. You need to have a monster with Dragon Share on the field. And two gauge is required.
Hou: However, if you have a card with Spiral Dragon Share on the field, you don't have to pay any gauge. In other words, you must have King Agito on the field.
